Shouldn't you disable the "Configure Automatic Updates" setting in your group policy settings instead of changing the update detection frequency? Doing this should disable automatic updates whereas disabling the update detection frequency setting will just change the interval at which Windows checks for updates back to the default of 22 hours.

@@EasyTechGeek I followed the video you did in 2021 for window 10 to try to unistall auto updates. Am I missing something? A step that I would also need to do? Since trevor is asking about the "Configure Automatic Updates"? Where do I do this? Also, can you make a video on how to unistall previous versions of microsoft updates that are refusing to be unistalled? I want to delete them permanently...but don't know how?

This doesn't really fix the issue. There is no way to disable the UpdateOrchestra service. And attempting to fix any item in Task Scheduler for UpdateOrchestra request a password for user "S-1-5-18". What even is that? Fixing this problem is what needs to be shown. I do not know what to do.

Both will work. I usually dont edit older ones. It is for windows 11 too and done on windows 11. 👍

If you have Home Version of Windows not pro then you wouldn't have. For that you can do the regedit one which is there in my popular section of the videos mate 👍
