Thanks! I bought the same hollow core per your video and I also bought the same needle as yours (250 pound) but I’m having a real issue getting it to thread, almost like the braid is glued together?. It is taking me 5 minutes per inch and yes I’m pushing it on per your instructions…. Very frustrating to say the least. Any idea why I might be struggling? Could the braid be smaller than advertised? Almost seems that way….

Ya the 250 just goes in super hard it really hurts the fingers & just takes practice really aggravates me at times also. Here's a few tricks that might help.
You can try to push your dacron together to open it up a bit more just ahead of what your pushing onto the needle that helps sometimes. Also you can try n put a little wax on your needle basically rub it on a candle the wax acts like lube & will sometimes make a big difference. And yes the inside diameter of the line could be a little different some rolls/brands are tighter than whats listed. I recently got a roll off Amazon that was all screwed up kinda like you say it wasn't fused together per say but almost wound wrong in spots or it was spliced at the factory or something in a few spots so it would stop my needle dead. Very frustrating.
Hopefully 1 of those will help you out.
If you have some 200lb or even 150lb mono try running that inside your Hollow core as a test if it goes then its yoyr sizing if it still hangs up your braids problebly defected.
Jb hollow core, power pro Hollow ace or 130lb dacron doubled are about the only reliable options for this imo.
