Ive got a 60cm strip LED lamp fitted under my front reg plate on my Landy. The bulbs inside the strip are angled up, down and side ways giving a wide and high vision . Very effective to avoid boar and elk and the winters get very very dark in the forests.

Those are great additions. I used to drive a Suzuki SJ413 and made similar changes. I had 4 spots fitted but they were the old incandescent bulbs. But having said that, when you turned on the extra 200 watts, it really lit the way. I also found a couple of small wide angle beams mounted on the sides of the roof rack were useful. I think these are called "Alley Lights" in the USA. I don't think we Brits have a name for them. All the best, Pete

Jonny, what you are putting on the bonnet is a bonnet protector. We do have loose stones on our roads here in Australia & they are normally kicked up by the car in front. I've never used them due to the mounting points causing rust spots on the bonnet.
Although the roof mounted spotlights look cool, I'm amazed you didn't put on an LED light bar.
I've owned Vitaras & Grand Vitaras since 1992 & I'm on my 4th one. The current Vitara I found to be a soft roader SUV. My next update will be the Jimny.

I would not worry too much about its CX, the geeza is a brick. Besides, the sidebars and the roof tray will do more damage than a few lights. I own the model prior to yours, and only the rooftray added +1l/100 kms, Suzuki dealer dixit. Same if you go for the air/con, which it is a must. Trying a sensible driving, mostly bellow 3000rpm, and it is still hard to go under 10l/100 kms. 17 years after and still love the rascal to pieces. Loved your video, keep them coming, please.

I think the front end looks better without the chrome plastic bits, personally; the bull bar looks fantastic, fits the aesthetic perfectly! My dad bought a Jimny last year he uses for back-country adventuring and hunting, but a leg injury has curtailed his activities, so I'm buying it off him; one thing he was gonna do, and bought the parts for (Tibus 4x4) is install portal axles for better clearance. He never got to it because it's a somewhat involved mod (at least for an elderly gent), but I'm excited! I've also looked into a small supercharger for it, made by Rotrex, should boost it to 160hp without affecting reliability or durability. My dad lives in Germany, where I'm going back to shortly (as soon as they lift the covid travel ban.. grrr), which is great cos Tibus is in Germany and Rotrex is out of Denmark, so that's convenient... Anyway love the mods you did, I'm gonna look into several of them myself, especially the leather bits from the bloke in the place who makes the things..! Jonny, I am curious why, when you say this is used for the school run, that you have fitted a bull bar. The front fascias of cars are designed to meet pedestrian head impact regs and bull bars undo some of that work as they are no deformable, unlike the plastic fascia of modern cars. Oh, and before anyone starts on me, yes, I know the front of the car is hardly a child friendly environment without the bull bar, and no, I am not anti-4x4 as I currently own a S2A Land Rover and have owned numerous old Land Rovers.

You need an offroad off with Mat Watson seen as he's just bought one and is modifying it aswell!

Looks great. I want a Frontrunner rack on my car, but I haven't got a spare grand kicking around. Love that front end - looks much better without the stick on metal trim.

Have you seen mighty car mods are doing a jimmny at the moment as well

There's loads of videos like these on this platform, but I've got to agree that you have taste tweaking the solid Jimny. Good and pratical for an everyday car, for a lot of reviews about EVs this is an old school choice.

Inspiring me to make some of those mods to our Jimny. Front runner rack on order, tempted by the ladder and the wind deflector. Nice video!

Because they're EU spec... so they actually won't? I'd be more worried about it falling off when you sneezed.

For the wheels, all the options look good excerpt the chrome/bright finish looking wheels.

I'm a Aussie... the bonnet "protector" is maybe a bug deflector but it's definitely not anything to do with aerodynamics and "flipping the air up over the roof". It's primarily purpose is to protect the paint on the front edge from stone chips.

Looks great don't forget to mention fitting LED's can trigger EML Engine Management Light due to change in voltage.

Since the front silver add-on is gone, I'd suggest to to paint the side ones something matt. Also, use the same colour for front grille and letters at the back. And yes, black wheels are good.
