- Join along as we get the new expansion project rolling. With a rental dozer we get the fill moved and worked out to build a new pad. We have some issues but we keep pushing along with help from Alec. Thanks for watching along.
Robert should know what roads nearby are being milled this summer. They make cheap roads and parking lots.
Great idea
The bad part about plowing is the combine sinks as deep as you plowed in a wet fall and what they call plow pan is what a plow compacts the soil and water doesn't go through it
Looks good and makes more space to park stuff out of the mud and hopefully not as many trucks getting stuck were you park them in time you will get things how you want it
Glad you got that green truck outta there.
Hopefully you can get more old concrete to make some more parking
That dozer made quick work of that pile great video
Looks altogether better now Chris, Good Job.
Cow mats work well, better than tires for lighter equipment like the 450.
Looking good like you said it takes time and money!
I bet you could keep that cat busy every day for a month straightening that farm out! Every bit helps.
Nice work Chris have a good day.
Looks good to me another great video
Nice job.with that little dozer.
Farming cleanup adventures 👍👍👍
I used to have to say me in the bank owns a farm😂 mine ain't nothing like this big as yours but today it's mine good luck you can do it keep on keepin on
I love watching you make improvements to the farm.
Good job
Jimmy hooked you right up
Nice job chris looks awsome
I enjoy watching your videos
Chris that was great made your pad cleaned the piles moved the cattle great job thank you for sharing and your time.
nice clean up and shaping with the dozer!!
Looks Good!
Making the farm look good 👍
Great Job Chris and at the end of the day its makes you feel so much better that things are ( lookin on up to the top ) most people wont get that . The Jefferson's
Do the calfs have salt/ mineral blocks ?? The boys are looking good !
I used junk logs to make a hold back instead of paying for Mafia Blocks. Then fill with dirt to a 45 degree slope and let it go to grass wirked for my application and cost nothing but a few gallons of gas and time. Mafia Blocks would make a good road ramp though if you wanted a place to drive on and off a trailer but with your water id think that area would not be your number one pick for a spot.
Nice video
If you would have pushed the top soil off behind the toe of your pad? You would have had material to cover up the slope and make it look good. But you’re a rookie dirt hand/diary dude,,,, 😜 next time!
Well you'll have that when your Not on a big job
Chris sure hope you and Yanko were able to get a shower/bath after the shit swim! Glad you were not hurt or Yanko was not hurt completely understand you going into the pit i would have also!! Great video Chris yard looking great!!!
He parked .. Slap ! In Thee Middle .......Of the G D Road .... Cmon!!
Gfym com on
Ice cream 😊
You could have rented a crusher to make all the rubble into gravel a lot easier to work with
Duffy's Dozer Service
Nice work, even with the wet weather.
Looks like you might need to reach out to the "gentlemen" with the "mini-that-could" and see if that's available again.......
You should get some of those blocks you used for the Hoop Building. Good on you hiring that young man to help you out. Couple more years and he’ll be a great helper in the summer and fall harvest
Could use google earth and mark pins throughout your property marking things or issues needing attention. Also seen folks print out the same picture to laminate for use with a dry erase marker or permanent to make notes
Progress. Every step gets you closer. You made the most out of a rainy day. Good job!
Ice cream 😊
You may have raccoons, rats, muskrats, mink, squirrels, and skunks that get stuck in the tile also because your area begins so wet there may be a potential of having beavers in your area due to the constant wet regions hopefully you do have someone that helps you with trapping the also may have to start looking into your issuance of the other animals that end up scaring your cattle which are more important to you financially. You may need to invest in some trapping gear or a friend who knows how to do the trapping to prevent problems with your drainage system that you already have and yes, I do feel that you do need to get more tile laid in place or even replace the existing tiles which I know I’ve mentioned before, you may need to contact your local farming banker to help your budget finances for that expense of procedure putting new tile hopefully that you’re able to the potentially in that position soon financially after the season I know you’re working on it slowly and working with the budget that you do have at this point for this year. I know fencing is also a priority and you’re doing well. Mr. Duffy.
Sincerely!
R. S. V.
We Love how you are making this farm yours , between adding some flat parking and cleaning up the messes left behind, ship shape in no time ! Get some gravel delivered while you have that dozer !
When loading dozers steel on steel lay down 3 or 4 tires on each side and drive right up the ramp then stack them under the blade and apply down pressure , you will be glad you had them !
Look if you can get some more demo material for by the silos then you won't have a muddy mess there anymore
Turbo sounds like a dentist drill lol
I'd be careful showing your DOT number.... People can get alot of info from that. But as always, good video Chris!
Should of stripped top soil off
Put me to work put me to work! Looks a lot better then making automotive parts and runnin forktruck all dam day....
Glad to see you removed the top soil first. Not your first rodeo.
you need a 20tn excavator.
That parking pad make a world of difference. The yard looks less cluttered already.
You sould buy the massy
Why would u park there when u know get is going to rain?
Maybe it's just me but I'd have parked the Landoll about 10-12" feet farther from the driveway could have circled out onto trailer without pissing around
Good idea must of missed how wet it is
Dump soil off the back of Your pad grade it and seed it
Why?? he will be expanding it again when there's more free base material I'd imagine.
@@Otherrandomguy42 That is true , but He also mentioned not wanting an eye sore on that side so it’s something he could do if he chooses, or not ,
Alec????
Watch out for nails & screw in them piles
Man that looks sketchy to me loading a muddy track dozer on a wet trailer deck with the trailer not sitting level side to side.
Landall saves the day. Don't think you could load it with the gooseneck
Well, you can load it, gooseneck and pickup might not like it though ;)
Push the building down why you got that dozer
Deworm the steers gain weight faster
Paint a big middle finger on the back of the shop for all the Karen’s worried about what your doing.
