  • Join along as we get the new expansion project rolling. With a rental dozer we get the fill moved and worked out to build a new pad. We have some issues but we keep pushing along with help from Alec. Thanks for watching along.

Robert should know what roads nearby are being milled this summer. They make cheap roads and parking lots.

The bad part about plowing is the combine sinks as deep as you plowed in a wet fall and what they call plow pan is what a plow compacts the soil and water doesn't go through it

Cow mats work well, better than tires for lighter equipment like the 450.

I used junk logs to make a hold back instead of paying for Mafia Blocks. Then fill with dirt to a 45 degree slope and let it go to grass wirked for my application and cost nothing but a few gallons of gas and time. Mafia Blocks would make a good road ramp though if you wanted a place to drive on and off a trailer but with your water id think that area would not be your number one pick for a spot.

If you would have pushed the top soil off behind the toe of your pad? You would have had material to cover up the slope and make it look good. But you’re a rookie dirt hand/diary dude,,,, 😜 next time!

Could use google earth and mark pins throughout your property marking things or issues needing attention. Also seen folks print out the same picture to laminate for use with a dry erase marker or permanent to make notes

You may have raccoons, rats, muskrats, mink, squirrels, and skunks that get stuck in the tile also because your area begins so wet there may be a potential of having beavers in your area due to the constant wet regions hopefully you do have someone that helps you with trapping the also may have to start looking into your issuance of the other animals that end up scaring your cattle which are more important to you financially. You may need to invest in some trapping gear or a friend who knows how to do the trapping to prevent problems with your drainage system that you already have and yes, I do feel that you do need to get more tile laid in place or even replace the existing tiles which I know I’ve mentioned before, you may need to contact your local farming banker to help your budget finances for that expense of procedure putting new tile hopefully that you’re able to the potentially in that position soon financially after the season I know you’re working on it slowly and working with the budget that you do have at this point for this year. I know fencing is also a priority and you’re doing well. Mr. Duffy.
    Sincerely!
    R. S. V.

When loading dozers steel on steel lay down 3 or 4 tires on each side and drive right up the ramp then stack them under the blade and apply down pressure , you will be glad you had them !
