- Join along as we get the 1974 John Deere 7520 geared up and ready to start the 2024 crop season. With some decent conditions we push through and into the night to get some ground plowed over. Thanks for watching along.
Glad to see you plowing your fields
we had IH 5 bottoms on a XT190! It don't have to be nice, it just has to do the job!
Congratulations on getting into the field. The start of a successful year farming 👍👍👍
Yeah I remember the shop that u rebuilt your truck in at the "other place" barely fit in there, then the hoop barn, you should be proud of where you are now. And I hope the little one is doing well, make sure you make time for her too.
Keep up the great work Chris and don't let anyone stop you
Good on ya Chris. Nice to see some soil moving.
Good video Chris thanks your efforts great entertainment. Have a good day.
Good to see you're at it !
It’s a repair and re-repair you tube channel. But I never miss a show.
Keep up the good work don’t mind you working on your stuff. I only have one field divided in four sections to rotate crops in and my tractors and equipment are older than me and have to work on them every year and have a few that need to be worked on still.
Let’s go Duffy!
Make some money this year and keep building the brand.
Hire some of the work out where you can on merch. Create a schedule of videos and have them in the Q to drop. See Dirt Perfect as an example or C&C equipment.
Norman!
Yenko!
Looks great…With these cheap commodity prices don’t feel bad about saving a trip over( discing before you plow). You won’t be able to tell in the combine!!
Nice one Duffy
Looks like old style John deere versus iso
Nice video
If you are not doing cattle in the future, that cow barn has a lot of potential as a shed and then keep your current shed as a workshop
I am new to the channel. Love the videos boss!
The feeling you get when all of your preperation and hard work is paying off is great! 👍 Thanks for taking us along!
Always nice to see and smell fresh dirt!
Chris don’t use silicone on your roof it will just shrink and peel OSI quad max is a urethane is way better you can get it at most hardware and home centers works way better
PS I love the old iron looks great
Just imagine if you had a 5row reverse plough like we have here in Ireland 🇮🇪
Here in the states we call them a "switch plow" but yes much better than a pull type.
@@johnnyholland8765 yes sir! Been running them since the 90’s. Doesn’t matter how much residue is on top it rolls it under.
Still one of the best looking tractors JD ever made! There’s nothing like the smell of freshly turned sod to let you know spring is here!
Thank you for flying old glory. 😊
For grease go with the mystic high temp grease. We use that grease on everything and have not had a single bearing go out since Switching to it 15 yrs ago
I use it in the machine shop and absolutely agree!
@@Nobody-Nowhere-USA I’m glad someone agrees with me
You need to get you a set of chisel plows
Its good for the soil when you plow deeper it looses compaction, drains water better, and gives a more active bodemlife
The deeper you plow and have a wet year the deeper the mud you made for yourself
@@garykolakoski water will drain better when you plow deeper because you rip open the hard layer. I have seen fields where they plow 10cm deep and the axles went through the mud
Its best to plow at least 20cm deep for a good field
🚜🌾
Don't know if it'll work but what about a solid skid steer Tire
Would have been nice too see you plough Chris?😩😩👏👏☘️🇮🇪🐕
If you ever get the chance try out a switch plow. If you do you will never go back to a pull type bottom plow. That tractor will handle easily a 5 or 6 bottom switch plow.
he cant pay for the one hes got
Need to build yourself a oil burning furnsce for winter shop heat
Who cares if you only seen one pass plowing, he is getting it done, and he was one the phone a lot so that doesn't make content for you. Keep up the great work on moving forward. 👍👍👍👍
We here in Utah is getting rained on every since this morning at 10:00 and still raining here at 2:20 PM
I’m in the SL Valley,rain-snow mix and probably snow tonight if it gets any colder.
@@RJJ6129 I'm in Clearfield UT

Good job and gods Bless
That was so great that you got to finished its been a time get some rest Chris
And now snowing

So to save a good bit of doe ray me so. Or cash. Instead of speedy dry use plain ole cheap cat litter or kitty litter the cheapest you can find. The plain clay kitty litter is the same thing as speedy dry. If you have a friend with a sawmill you can use sawdust. Just some budget tips. But seriously kitty litter is exactly the same as speedy dry and Walmart has Special Kitty Unscented Non-Clumping Natural Clay Litter, 20 lbs for $5.47 online and oil dry is $34.00 for 50# so you can literally get 10# more for less then half the price.
May 5th
Yeah March gone by lol. And the plow a day would have been over by the time this video had come out if it hadn't gotten postponed til next week. Lol
Ole fashion clay cat litter is same as speedy dry but cheaper
Yup.
it's to bad you couldn't have taken the hoop barn with you it would come in handy.
It would be a pain to take it all apart. He sold it to his brother who was happy with it
He’s said repeatedly that the wind there would destroy it quickly.
U sure have accomplished a great deal. And have great friends.
BEHIND you 100% on making your farm profitable-- good job Duffy ag
knowing you heard this a bunch of times but - use the old fuel tank for the dirty oil and then burn the oil in the winter? or is your state like commyfornia and would have a fit if ya did so? Great video's, thanks
A Mobile waste oil tank would make more room in the shop plus very convenient not worrying about taking it someplace. They just come out and pump the tank when you call them.
Don't let stupid persons affect on you!
Good to see you back in your own land! Everything is late this year even in Sweden.... so hope the seson be on your way Chris....
Looks of equipment more important than tools doing the best work? You're killing me smalls. And only show one pass with the plow?
STALK not "stock".
They are not homonyms.
It amazes me at the volume of people youtube has shown me that can't differentiate between the 2. Sure will catch hell finding Stock roll parts for a cornhead. And if you chop your stocks how does that work? Did you Stalk the shelves? . I cant find my Stalks AND BONDS !!!
finally ploughing only 1 pass footage?🤣🤣
cry baby.

This is the only farming channel that never shows any farming
Lmao everything in this video was farming you must have been smoking crack before you watched.
except when he does show farming, which is most of the time.
Get lost
Hahahahahahahah
@fishydubsfishing and yet here you are bitching and moaning. 🙄
I think your channel is losing its identity……is it mechanical work? Visiting places? Trucking? Fabrication? Or farming? Not meaning to be critical but it seems to be all over the place…… farming almost non existent……I think you need to reconsider your approach…
The channel has literally had all of that since the beginning. Running a tractor is the smallest part of a farming operation unless you are custom farming and running every day
Everything you just said IS farming. Wether he does it himself or pays someone to doit its all part of farming.
