I HAD A nice older couple as neighbors and they claimed to enjoy the cows/Calves but when the guy died then the widow would call the cops on (farming Activity) all the time. The police officers finally informed her that she was going to get arrested for harassment. She told them that she enjoyed listening to the police scanner and knowing she was involved 😂 Crazy 🤪

we got called for spreading chicken litter by some neighbors. So after I finished that I went and started putting some on the gardens and they came flying down the road with windows down. They got some chicken litter in the almost brand new car. If anyone asks I did not flip the switch on purpose when I saw them coming down the road

We have a separator for sand at both dairy farms my boss owns I drive the semi haul milk we have 2 drivers full time me I went to new farm other driver stayed at home farm
could be they might be using a drone so they dont get trespassed. all anyone has to do is call in a complaint to sick the enviornment ppl on someone, or some company.

They where up in arms after about a week best of it was we where drilling wheat be hind him they never clicked on that it was going back to fileds

Just curious, did NYSDEC mandate to scrape up and dispose of the spill or just suggest for PR?? In PA DEP wouldn't worry about a few gallon hyd fluid as a pollutant, there is not carbon in it, used engine oil is a big problem.

I never hauled manure with sand, so I am curious about it since I am an old farm dude, does the sand affect the soils in a positive way in the long run, I mean, if you got heavy clay, it should not be a bad thing to get in sand in it? As I said, know nothing about it, always ran manure with sawdust and chopped straw in my life, so gotta ask to understand 🙂 And having bad neighbors, thats the worst thing that there is, I had a old classmate that their families was in feuds all their lifes generations back, it affected the kiddos badly on both side of the fences, hope it clears up in the future and that the person stops doing it

Serial complainants usually catch themselves out.... local authorities cop on quickly to these kind of complaints and the motivation behind them and treat them accordingly. Usually they end up getting caught out for a misdemeanor they committed themselves and eventually lay off.
I was up around Kings, Greenwich, Fort Edwards, Port Ann, Fri, Sat , Sun, Mon, I didn't see any 78 R Model Mack truck! My Son-in-laws two uncles worked for Kings, actually Kings bought their farm after they passed away! I like revenge!!🤕! I got revenge on some Jersy people, I spread a load of manure along the property line, take that, you can smell that all weekend while you're here, never saw them outside after that!! They built the cabin almost on the line!
Duffy do a foia request to find out who is trying to slow you up,can put an order on them to stay away but make a report to local police first to get stuff in writing of harassment,can move forward legally after that for civil action.

When it happens, be creative. Call and engage the appropriate agencies at the State and Federal level. Some agencies overlap authority, so don't leave any of them out of your phone list. Then, sit back and stay quiet. Don't tell a soul. For now, pretend you are friends with that person, so they will never suspect you. Be just as good a neighbor to them as they have been to you. On another matter, plant seed is never "safe in the sack" after mid May.

And he's pissed off cuz Chris is doing things like widening out the driveway and changing the yard. Some old guys really take it hard when they sell their farm and then they watch somebody take it over and start changing things it really bothers them. 🙄🙄

Get documents from DEC and keep a folder on that so if it ever does come to a pt that harassment charges could be filed against him

Cameras. They are very useful for many things around a farm. Not just security. You could get a good setup for $400-600 bucks easily.
