Join along as we wrap up manure hauling for a few days. Rolling west with the white truck to pick up Colburn and his 1968 4520 for some plowing actions. Thanks for watching along.
Also living so close to Chicago and a majority of it being filmed in and around Chicago, it's almost like a hometown classic. Especially when I used to drive by some of the places they filmed the movie like the Dixie Square Mall that has now been torn down or the old Joliet Correctional Center which closed in 2002. Unfortunately I don't get out that way anymore.
I'm a few hours from duffy in NY. We've had rain every day for the past 2 weeks. No one is planting here now. I'd say maybe 15% of the fields near me are planted. The 5000 acre dairy I work part time at doesn't have a single seed in the ground yet. Too wet.
For the garden put chicken litter or something similar along with some lime and till it in. Then when you plant tomato’s put more litter and lime into the hole you dig. Been doing it for years and makes some killer tomatoes
@@Otherrandomguy42 well we use egg shells from chicken hatch facilities wich are the same or better then lime. It works great for us. My grandpa has been doing it for the last 50 years and it make wonderful tomatos. Plus we put it in the soil not on the tomatos
@@chrisdaman77 glad someone else does that. The other guy said its not a great idea. I dont care what the keyboard warriors have to say. I know what im doing and it make great tomatos
Chris, nothing wrong with an old Cummins engine, you just want it upgraded a bit to a 325 or 340. My first lorry here in uk was a Foden with a 290 Cummins in it then after that was an old ERF with a 325 lol. Hows your pickup feel now with that new Turbo? ❤
Chris, I don’t know if it’s a microphone issue or what but when you’re in the truck I can hear you talking but have no idea what you’re saying. Only getting about every 10th word.
The neighbor will probably report your wide load!😂
The old white truck still earning its keep!
Good to see the old white truck doing a good job even if a tad slowly. She has been good to you Chris.
Big warm mental hugs to you and your family give that little girl of yours lots of hugs and kisses.
Plus some belly rubs for Yanko!
Gotta love the Blues Brothers!
Duffy that is exactly what you need. A grain bin, dryer, and wet bin
Blues Brothers is one of my sister's favorite movies. Seen it many of time. It's a classic everyone should watch.

Nothin Cleaner than a Gleaner😉
I think it was Silver Seeder 😂
Chris you need new wipes for your mack, so I can see the road please ,lol
You need to block the exhast so the turbo dont spin going down the road when hauling a tractor that has a turbo
Thank you for the Video Duffy !!!
MY CORN IS ALL IN HE HE !!

Blues Brothers, animal house, Hollywood knights, and American Graffiti 1&2. all are excellent older movies. Gen X ✌️✌️
Again Duffy ..you'r the man !!! 💪💪💪
Jake & Elwood Rock!
You can always install a scale at your farm. . . 1000's of farmers and farms have their own scales
At the end of the day, that " shiny 290" got the job done for you, and that's all that matters.
You should block the exhaust so the turbo don't spin going down the road when hauling a tractor on a trailer
@@leroyj7877he’ll have six reasons why he doesn’t have to but that’s what know it all’s do
As always, 👍👍👍
Hello Chris i could not watch all of this, when was in truck shaking like it was i had to fast forward. Have a good day.
Good doobie and the blues brothers
Never saw someone complain so much about rain
Nice video
Chris I 2nd the Blues Brothers movie!!!

That is 100% the ticket. We had the best garden ever after doing that.
You never and I mean never put lime on tomatoes tomatoes need acidic soil to optimism yields. Ideally around a 5.5 down to 5 ph.

@@O.KFarmToysdeutzallis6275 we have a chicken farm about a mile away. Best fertilizer there is in my opinion.
Your turbo is going to be junk when you get home with out taping the cap down on that tractor
My dad had one I’ve put many many acres through that with a 2470 case.
4520 with a 4630 engine!
You got some bad wipers
🚜🌾
Could of ran the tractor up farther on the deck then you maybe would of had enough on the back of the trailer behind the plow for the chisel plow!?
When do we finally get the oilpull video it has been a few years since the promise
machine shops in my area are usually in no big hurry-
Your not legal on the truck with out flags and sign.
And a permit
Don't need a permit until you're over 13 feet. Over ten you need wide load banners and and orange flags out at all four corners.
Running fast at night always seems right 😂😂😂😂😂
Flashing lights as well
Blah blah blah legal shmegal

BANK OWNS THE FARM
yes
Big difference between owning a farm and buying a farm. Just saying
Bank probably owns your home and your vehicle yet you still probably refer to it as you "own a home" or "own a vehicle"
