Hey guys! So this hair tutorial was requested by a couple of you and of course I'm going to give you guys what you want. It's not as hard as it looks. It might take a couple tries to get the twisty down but I promise you guys will get it. If you guys try this look out then tag me in it on instagram at #ilyjessjess. Rat Tail Comb (or whichever comb you have is fine)
Rubberbands/Elastics
Clips
Extensions (optional)

I've watched a few other tutorials and this is the first one that had a close up shot of the twisting. This is perfect!
I used to do this all of the time, but then I got lazy and just shaved it lol.

At first I thought that we had to make mini braids.
I tried it with braids and it was really hard...so I just gave up.
This looks really great on you. I'm thinking about actually doing a side shave but I'm not sure if I can commit, so I'll do this for now

Love having cornrows on the side but could never master the plaits myself but this looks like a great idea, gonna give it a try myself!

I been wanting to try this with my hair since I've seen many girls have their hair like this but braided instead but I wanted to try something like that but different. I searched many videos and watched them and they all where not good videos then I came here and I watched it once and watched it for the second time and the second time I gave it a shot and tried it with my hair. Well, the first twisty was good but them the second twisty was not so good because I was pulling it tight like you said to and when I went to rubber band it together it started falling down :( so I continued with the other twisted hair pieces and the rest fell out like the second one did. :( I think it's because my hair is to short so I guess I have to wait until my hair grows out some more but otherwise.. Great video! :) I loved your explaining! :) I'll be back when my hair grows out more and try it then!! :)

How do you twist your hair? I have curly hair and i apply water to it to make it straight, but i cant twist it! Help please, i really want to recreate that hairstyle!

If u have really curly hair you just have to twist really close to the root and hold really tight 😉 u can do it just practice!

Thanks girl!!! After i had my son my hair started falling out like so much and i guess my extensions are probably just making it worse lol. I do have some biotin too so i think im going to start taking them again hopefully i see a change!

I've got a question, if you want to braid your hair instead of twist it, it basically works the same way, just braiding instead of twisting, right? You're videos are awesome by the way :)

You make it look so easy! I gave up cause my twistie ended up being lose when I tried to tie it up
Aww! You have to hold it really tight. I mean really tight lol. You have to make sure you have a grip on the twisty while putting the rubber band so that the twist doesn't come undone.
Are u French twisting? U grab more hair and pull it in as u twist
