    ♡ 90s Blowout Routine ♡
    1. Section top half and clip
    2. Use any hair products you use
    3. Take an inch section and take Revlon brush under and roll in, keep turning the dryer, do that until it's dry.
    4. On DRY HAIR roll it up all the way for 5-10 seconds with Revlon brush and then let it cool. Twist it out.
    5. Put that untangled beveled hair in roller
    DO THIS FOR BOTH SECTIONS!!
    6. On top section by eyebrow/temple, lift root and then blow dry and let sit for a sec. Put roller UP/AWAY FROM FACE not under
    7. Blow dry and roll bangs under
COOL ALL HAIR WITH BLOWDRYER COOL SHOT UNDER NOT WARM!! Take out. :)

I was a hairdresser in the late 90s early 2000s and I have trauma from doing these blowouts until my arms felt like they were going to fall off. I swore I’d never do it on my own hair because it was too much damn work and no one’s paying me to do my own hair. But this makes me really nostalgic for that look. Maybe I’ll try this next time I need to look nice.

It's crazy, you've been my hair and beauty idol for almost a whole year now. I got your haircut a few months ago and since then I've finally perfected my own version of a 90's inspired hair look, and I'm so happy about it. It involves a straightener and round brush, I don't have the patience for blowdryers or rollers yet.
I've also been using rosemary oil for about 6 months now, and I feel as though it's been helping. There's countless other tips and methods I've incorporated into my beauty routines from your videos that have made such a huge difference. I used to struggle a lot with shoulder/back acne, greasy roots+dry ends, flat hair, etc. But since finding your channel it's all improved tremendously.

    • @taehyungkim4267
      @taehyungkim4267 Місяць тому +3

( I know you didn't ask for this but as for someone who uses to wash their hair every 3 day then it getting dirty after 2 to 3 days this helps for me at least but I hope some of this will help you to)
Use special shampoo, I use nature box avocado, some shampoos have products in it that will make it get oily faster and that are not goid for your hair ( recommend watching a video about it) , shampoo twice and conditioner only at the ends and use those head massage brushes in the shower, after you style or air dry it , try not to touch it to much your hands are oily and it will oil up your hair much faster , if you need to put it up use a hairclaw clip whatever you call it so your hair can breath still without being tied up.
That's how I got from washing my hair every 3 days to once a week, you do have to train your hair into getting used to Not Washing every so day it will take time but it works , I now wash my hair every Sunday and style it then leave it alone mostly, also get your ends trimmed ones in a while it will really help getting your hair healthy.

I can't justify spending so much time doing my hair simply because I'll have to wash it the next day 😭 5 to 7 days between washes sounds like a dream.
    Your hair is fantastic 😍

@Bella M thank you for your advice 🌸 I did watch him and unfortunately it changed nothing for me. I tried Redken volume injection shampoo, which he highly recommends for my hair type. I always wash my hair several times. I don't apply any products to my roots after washing, so heavy styling stuff is also not guilty in this case.

train your hair! mine used to get greasy after one day but now it lasts 5-7 days like hers. use hair oil before you wash it and keep it moisturized and after a while it’ll adjust

@@thsndtht7006your hair is producing so much oils because you wash it so much, the oils are to protect the scalp after washing but because you are stuck in the cycle, you need to try to break it

I just want to say thank you so, so much for this tutorial. I have been trying to practice using a round brush and hairdryer for months. I've tried other tutorials, but they didn't work for me. I have the same type of thick, wavy hair you do. I tried this tutorial earlier, and my hair looks just like it did when I left the salon. You explain all of these techniques so well and broke everything down perfectly. I am now subscribing to your channel!

you are the first person that I've found with hair like mine. I struggled to determine whether my hair is straight or wavy or curly, because that curly-ish type on the bottom part really confused me. it took me such a long time to figure out what products and brushes/combs to use and when to blow dry it. and I love the 90's blowout, I just wasn't sure whether it would work on my type of hair. I thought it would make it frizzy and poofy. but it looks great on you and I'm looking forward to trying it out.

I only want to add: I saw somegirl who advised to put hair cream mask in your strands just bf blow-drying it coz it makes the hair so nurtured and smooth, and her hair was absolutely amazing!

I’m so happy you showed how to get the hair unstuck. When I was a kid I wanted to try my mums round brush and I tried to brush my hair with it and next thing I know it’s stuck and I showed my mum she didn’t know what to do so I just cut it off myself and yeap 🤣 I did not want to have to do that again

I have no idea why there is such a mental block because once I actually manage to look a bit more put together, I feel great 🙃

A quick blast of cooler air on the ends of your hair while you’re flicking it helps keep the curl. Like right before you release it from the brush, not the entire time, instead of holding the brush in the hair.
