I have thick hair and I tried this hairstyle but the braid just ended up looking thick and chunky. Any tips or is this just not a nice hairstyle for thick hair?

Hi Cécile, When starting the braid the pieces of hair will be quite small and hard to grab. It is important to make sure (particularly at the start of the braid) to pull the hair tightly to avoid lumps. Try spraying a little hair spray on the piece of hair that goes lumpy and brush it through your hair before you start to braid it. This will help to keep the hair in place. Then when you start to braid, make sure you pull the three pieces of hair tightly, especially the middle one. Did this help? Let me know if you have anymore questions! :)

Try practicing larger braids as they are easier :) Water may be a good idea as well xx
