it doesn't work for anyone. You need to make it kinematic and the re-activate it again with a condition operator. This technique is covered in several of my tyflow tuts.
Hey sir, can make Phoenix FD for biginer complete tutorial series. This channel is has mind blowing tutorials ❤. I love this channel ❤❤❤❤❤. 1000% recommend .
Great tutorial, one question, I've been having this "problem" with phoenix FD and FumeFX, how do I avoid getting pixelated smoke? I increase the gird resolution but still get smoke with jagged edges, especially near the object where it interacts.
Can you do 3d photo scan of your body and after import in 3dsmax and do some effects like box particles are creating body effects some how like movies. There is many free 3d photo scan software are available so can you help us with that.
I'm trying to just simply fill u pan object (glass) with particles but can't seem to keep the particles within the mesh? Could anyone help with this?! Thanks
Cool! Couldnt you just use a PhysX Collision Operator inside Event 001 to let the stairs/walls interact with the grenade instead of creating a completely separate event for them?
Hey Jesse! I was just wondering what your thoughts are on this, I don't know much about 3DS max or Maya, but I am interested in learning VFX and Motion Graphics, so I am leaning more towards learning Maya. But once I understand how to use Maya, will it be possible to follow your tutorials based on Phoenix FD while using Maya? Thank you Jesse!
Thanks for this Jesses Phoenix smoke is really cool. I have a question I followed along and I found I just couldn't get the can to bounce down the stairs. So I downloaded your scene file (thanks) and without touching anything the can in the file still doesn't bounce down the stairs even changing the PhysX setting doesn't help do you have any ideas? I have 2080 CUDA capable card.
@@RedefineFX Thanks Jesse I have reinstalled Tyflow and the CUDA files its still not the same as your baked can. However dropping the time step to 1/2 and the Pos & Vel iterations to 1 have got me much closer.
@@RedefineFX Hey please can you tell me how to increase or decrease the tyflow animation to our own custom frames, for example if i have 64 frames shot and it want the whole animation to be withing this frames how i can do that? sorry i'm kinda new
When you get a tutorial from Jesse, first you like it and then watch. 👍🏻
Haha pinned 😄♥️🙌🏻
That's exactly what I do 😂😂
Awesome tutorial thanks... Curious why you made a second "Birth Objects" for the wall and stairs instead of adding a "Collision" node? Thanks!
I don’t remember anymore sorry but probably to keep it organized
i can not drag by physx switch "dynamic sleep" ... help!

Try adding a shell modifier to the glass

Have you done a tutorial where you render out Vray elements separately and composite them all in After Effects, including a shadow casting?
Not yet

Hi Rafi, yes, majority of the settings are the same in the maya version of Phoenix.
@@RedefineFX thank you for the reply, that is great! Looking forward to following tutorials and taking your courses :).

let me check the file
it's working for me. Make sure you're in newest version tyflow and increase the speed of the can - that's about all I can think of right now
