✨ Paint Thrifted Chair To Look Like Leather??! // Home Vibes ✨

In today’s video, I took an ugly thrifted chair and turned it into a faux leather chair! I’ll show you how to take a piece of furniture and paint it to create faux leather. It turned out so nice and it's a project you can do at home too!
Depending on what chair you get, you can spend easily under $100 on it! Mine was slightly above but so worth it and way less than any leather chair at a store!

How much paint to fabric softener did you use?

Originally I was doing about 50/50 and then when I started doing the mixing of colors at the end, I ended up going with a more 2/3 paint, 1/3 fabric softener consistency and ended up liking that so much more!

In Drew Video he states to spritz it with spray bottle because it does dry quickly and to help with smoothing in on. I will let you know how my sofa turns out.

I was spraying it continuously and it was still drying quickly. His fabric was a lot more smooth so I think that helped keep it from absorbing as quickly as mine did. Please let me know how yours goes!!
