To be clear, Dooku doesn't f up Yoda, he runs away cause he knows Yoda is stronger and would totally demolish him if he stayed and fought. I will not stand for this Yoda slander
My goat yoda
the one thing the prequels do very well is point out just how strong the good guys are and how they only lose due to incompetence. I love the clone wars tv series but it really makes all the jedi do a lot more and while it makes old scrotum faces deception and manipulation seem even more impressive it undermines the fact that one of the biggest downfall of the jedi was their inability to do anything despite their strength.
a lot of really bad things are going on everywhere and obi is constantly doing stuff while the council sits and debates
Yoda sucks, koreanbeef has a series of videos explaining how yoda just sucks so hard
@@cheeseboy1505 🤓🤓🤓
Jar Jar is a Sith Lord and no one can tell me different.
yeah but even if he IS exqueezed
ALSO I saw someone in chat say "WHY THE RIGHT" at 18:32 when Vader's hand was cut off and I love this bc its the same hand that Luke lost. So when he's giving into his rage and he sees his father's prosthetic hand just like his, he realizes he's becoming just like him and that's why he stops. Sequel trilogy aint got shit on that moment.
True but also its just his dominate hand lol. If im gonna cut off someones hand or leg im gonna pick the dominate one.
It’s like poetry, it rhymes.
1:47 LOVE the wheel of time reference lmao
My mans describes Attack of the Clones without mentioning the clones attacking.
Staniel... you off-handed mentioned ta'veren here. Please, please do Wheel of Time content. I'm not asking you to make the economical decision, I'm just hoping you do it for the culture. The wheel weaves as the wheel wills.
Came here to post the same thing!!
Starkiller Base was in development since the end of the Clone Wars. It used to be Ilum, a sacred planet for the Jedi, home to a large source of Kyber crystals that power the Lightsabers. It was place Padwan's would go on a pilgrimage
That scarraf place in rogue one looks like it came straight out of a supreme commander map.
This was an awesome moment on stream and awesome video on UA-cam!
Was it a coincidence that Stanz and I both started watching Star Wars at the same time? Or was it the force 🤔
This is the greatest stanz video yet
Stanz you should rank every lightsaber duel!! 🫡🫡
Dooku is Yoda's former Padawan, and a master of (Form 5?) Lighstaber combat styles that focus specifically on combat effectiveness (this is the reason for his lightsaber's curved hilt), and were looked down on by the Jedi for such reasons.
On the Solo thing: I enjoyed it more or less as a movie, but it posed some noteworthy issues for Han's character development. It is basically an entire movie dedicated to having Han go through the character development he already goes through in the OT. Going from a selfish swindler into someone who would fight for the little guy, against his own interests, to save people who don't deserve what the Empire is doing to them. Ntm it literally connects him directly to the beginning of the Rebel Alliance, which is again weird when thinking about Solo in context of the OT.
Also his name being "solo" because he's alone is the cringiest damn thing. I can't decide if its more cringy than the fact that his name was Solo in the OT to heavy-handedly 'reflect' that he's a loner, but its at least equally as cringy and didn't need attention brought to it...
AND yeah, the only truly new and interesting elements of Solo, like Crimson Dawn, are never mentioned again. Disney thinks people didn't like Solo because they recast Han, which is literally the least of the movies problems (also it was a bit of a mess tone wise bc of firing Lord and Miller)
It just felt like any action movie with a star wars filter on it
The non-legends comics and rebels + clone wars TV shows all touch on the new elements. The legends probably do to but I haven’t read them.
Lando was the OG millennium falcon pilot.

Wow someone reads the Wheel of Time with the ta'veren reference lol
But what about clone wars But what about clone wars But what about clone wars But what about clone wars
Love isode 1 so much!
Episode 8 is the second best star wars movie
You’re exsqueezed Stanz
I really don’t get how this guy don’t got more subscribers
so i dont "have to" more like i dont GET to. Ive watched the prequals multiple times and enjoyed it everytime 😈
i didnt even go to the bathroom for 3 or 4 days and didnt sleep
Wooooooooo stanz
Stanz watching them does not absolve you of your need to watch Star Wars.
In AOTC Anakin is 19 and Padme is 24 or 25, a little weird but not that weird.
Can Mac Windu still b alive?!
Yo Stanz have you watched The Clone Wars? Highly recommended It's really great.
🌌
Stanz, I've already watched all star wars movies 😝
ESPECIALLY if you watch it with The Clone Wars show context, Anakin’s betrayal has so much more depth and pain behind it, and Order 66 is so heartbreaking.
Speaking of Order 66 in modern era, the first scene of Kenobi where the kids run away from the Clones shooting up their school like DAYS after a school shooting was yikes. A little hard to watch. Same thing with new Stranger Things
Thanks stanz, I didn't intend to.
i came into this video knowing absolutly nothing about starwars and came out even more confused
I didnt realize Stanz was a WoT nerd
ayy first get it stanz
Wait... did Stanz read or watch WOT? (Because of the Ta'veren comment)
Bread 👍
Bread 👍
Have to? You mean get to? (Expect solo and the sequels)
stanz, PLEASE fucking watch Clone Wars and Rebels. they make the prequels and OT 700% better
Dude the sequels bang, they're so good.
Except for the last one
@@Lacie9 I liked it tbh but yeah it's the weakest of them.
are
...
are you joking?
@@zzeroara9511 no. The sequels are just good.
@@Lacie9 did you not watch the video you're commenting on or are you trolling?
George Lucas definitely planned for there to be more movies since the title screen literally said "Episode IV" back in 1977, he always planned to make another trilogy which was set before the first films.
can’t tell if you’re joking
Oops sorry, they added it in 1981 when they re-released it in theaters.
A New Hope < Revenge of the Sith
Idc
can’t believe your saying good movie after watching a three minute recap
i thought u said you were gonna watch the movie smh
I lost a lot of love for Star Wars movies over the years, but 8 is probably my favourite? It seems simple looking back, but they flipped a bunch of franchise staples on the other side, and it was awesome. Poe (Han Solo 2) and his actions hurt the rebels, Luke goes directly against the idea of Jedi, Rey's origin being shown as generic (meaning she didn't inherit superpowers) - I loved all that. And the last movie walked everything back and it sucked.
i stand by the opinion that of the last 3, 8 would be the a good movie if it wasn't part of such a convoluted franchise and subtrilogy
I was watching this video and taking my dog out, and while I did I missed a hole and sprained my ankle a DAY before I was going to NY to see my girlfriend. Huge sadge. Cucked by stanz, Star Wars, a hole and my dog.
tf is an exsqueeze me
W
9 was better than 8 bc it was was way stupider and so way funnier
Ok hear me out… number 8 woulda been a good movie if it wasn’t a complete 180 from the force awakens.
And if they got rid of the casino planet
The thing about The Force Awakens is that it not only pretty much copies IV, it also doesn't really achieve anything, which is why it isn't as bad but also not good....as nothing is happening that advances the overall Skywalker arc. All while JJ has no clue himself why anything that is happening is happening, like why is the "Empire" so big again, why is basically every technology still the same as 30 years ago. There is 0 world building with no value added, Rian Johnson thought it was funny to twist things around...which he partially failed and partially succeeded and JJ was butthurt about his ideas and tried to make it his way again. IMO, it's 90% the fault of Kathleen Kennedy and JJ Abrams for fucking the sequels up.
And no, 9 is not better than 8, it's absolute trash.
Episodes 7, 8, and 9 are better than 1, 2 easy
Twilight actually has Renesmee. not Esme. It's a much MUCH MUCH worse, more stupid name.
The Last Jedi? Goated
I still believe ROTS is better than any other Star Wars movie, including the original trilogy.
Yeah, that Shmi gal is not the best. Not precious.
The pain! Why did GenZ have to ruin it! :(
They are far from perfect movies but I will always defend the sequel trilogy. They get an unnecessary amount of hate and despite their many many flaws alot of the criticism I see on line is either addressed in the film, doesn't make sense or is just something I personally disagree with
really bad take on "republicans making the movie"...
Stanz may have the worst star wars takes I've ever heard
Stanz, what's with all this react Andy content? Where's the original shit?
