I like that you didnt just delete the video and kept it up showing how your first reaction went. This one seems more like Logan's perspective, and the update seems a lot more like its George's perspective.

I was a huge Logan fan for many years. Defended him through some awful shit, but it became too much. My last straw was how he treated George, specifically when he roasted his religion. I’m a fan of Jake’s boxing journey but I couldn’t care less about his content (except his pod on rare occasions)

important context that i don’t think is covered, george was passionate about his faith off camera but didn’t talk about it on camera and mike pushed him to talk about it more often on the pod and george was hesitant but did it because one of the cohosts was telling him it’s encouraged
Seen a bunch of people saying this is missing context from George’s podcast, which is fair as we spent a lot longer on the impailsive clips. I thought the shorts that George posted on his own channel would be his thoughts and opinions, and not edited to miss out context, but apparently we’re missing necessary context.
I will go through all the info again and if there’s stuff that goes against what we’ve said in this video then we will do a follow up video. If anyone has sources (other than georges podcast) then lmk✌🏻
As someone who has watched a couple of episodes of IMPAULSIVE, I think the George you see in the Bobby Lee episode and this video isn’t completely representative of him on the show. He is actually a lot funnier and less serious in other podcast episodes I’ve seen. He seems to have found his style and is more self-assured now, than during his time on IMPAULSIVE. Especially since he has his own platform, so the power dynamic isn’t there between Logan.
I also think that if you watch the podcast he had with Mike, you’ll see that he acknowledges his mistakes in how he handled things and the role he played. I do think he didn’t stand up for himself well during his time at IMPAULSIVE which he elaborates on during his podcast with Mike.
Good video as always though. You’re really good at summarising complex topics into digestible videos, Caanths.

I dunno if you can do Georg's side justice from just looking at the 1 min clips. Obviously not saying you gotta watch the whole pod, but in the sections that the clips are referencing theres a ton of context that would probably clear up some confusion. This is the first time I've seen the clips instead of the 5 ish min context from the pod and its pretty surprising how little justice they do the conversation. The financial stuff was talking about multiple different time periods so by trying to jam it all in one clip was not a great decision. Also George explained in the full context how it wasnt just the one "balls in face" incident, they had cut out a bunch of times bobby was SA'ing George. Not a critique on this vid, but I can understand how trying to figure out George's side from 1 min clips can be a little confusing with a lot of context having to be cut out for the format.
You saying Bobby "sexually assaulted" George makes me not take you seriously at all, don't use words like that in these situations. You're diluting the true meaning and power of them if you're misusing them like that.

Not watching the podcast segment in full where George explains everything, only to then watch Logan’s response which cuts clips is crazy. I feel it’s mainly a bias view on the situation.

Another person who fell for Logan’s manipulation in the “fact” check video. He very strategically cut clips and and took them out of context only responding to certain small things with specific evidence without the full context. Namely, how George was referring to a small chunk of time when the podcast wasn’t making money, and cutting out the part where George said that Logan was the only one to call him after the fall out but ignored what George claimed Logan said. Logan purposely avoiding addressing what George said about what Logan told him tells me that it was true, and Logan was too toeing around it

There's a new update, George for the first minute of his latest podcast episode basically just said that reactors have already said most of what he would of said, so he's not going to say anything. He said he doesn't want to do a back and forth like drake and kendrick. He wants to sit down with Logan at some point either on or off camera
This video failed to explain that George is supposed to also be a stand up comic. So he should be able to go back and forth with Bobbie Lee and understand comedic timing.
Exactly, This "sexual assault" thing, is how a lot of comedians in comedy clubs fuck with each other. He never once mentioned the sexual assault that George claimed happened that mike agreed happened. This is in reference to George saying that Bobby Lee kept grabbing his dick throughout the show, which is what George says was cut to make bobby look better and in turn, make George look irrational. Logan did not apologize for letting his friend get sexually assaulted right in front of him on his own show.

One of the reasons I come to watch these dives is because YES I could look at things on their own, but having someone explain some of the clips + context. And then stanz asks some questions that the audience might be thinking, which I think is such a good format. Great job Caanths and Stanz! (This was a really fun video to watch)
Usually agree but they didn’t do a great job bringing all context together. They missed out on a lot of things George talked about that Logan didn’t address. I just feel it is a lot more sloppy than his usual breakdowns. I have to say georges and mikes podcast was 2.5 hours long so of course there is few clips of him talking about money, still he mostly talked about their relationship. But logan would never adress them talking about their relationship becouse it would make him look bad. So saying why george talked about money and not their friendship based on logans "fact check" is wrong in my opinion.

Admittedly, most of my exposure to him has been in interviews with people well outside of the Logan Paul orbit. I've just heard him speak really openly about addiction and recovery in ways that I have a lot of respect for. I don't doubt he gets involved with some dumb stuff too being in that crew. I just get the sense that of everyone in that group, he's the most likely to be a genuinly kind and empathetic human.

I've watched some stuff for this myself before this and how I see it was, Logan and George were friends and would goof around and hang out. George probably showed interested in the podcast/influencer world, Logan lost 2 cohosts in a row and decided to bring his friend George on. George was already on an established show and was trying to get his footing on it felt a little uncomfortable and then was brought in with these big names who don't know him and don't know that. George seems to have this rather alpha gym bro persona I'm guessing from some things he said made him want to attack the guests. He didn't understand this dynamic the pod had with guests, which seems very wow you are amazing and one of the bros cutting things that make them look bad that sort of thing. George starts to resent this whole situation and his own friends and thus everything becomes bad so even Logan and George trying to correct things came off as bad to him. He became more antagonistic because of this and they feeling the push back probably did the same. Like the religious stuff, I'm assuming in their friendship Logan didn't fully understand George's religious feelings and probably thought he said he went to church in the way a lot of people go as a social thing but aren't talking about god a lot outside of it.

Actually, the clip on Logan's Tik Tok about the "I don't get paid any money" from George was edited and cherry picked to make George look bad on this response... George was talking about how for 1.5 years they didn't get paid to be on the podcast (Mike even attested to this) and then they mentioned how the money comes later and you can see in the 'receipts' Logan showed it started with December 2021.
So he was still paid $300,000 for essentially just sitting on his friends podcast?

I think conflating "myth" with "lie" is kind of a shitty thing to do in general. Objectively, all religions with religious text are based in myths. All societies, to some degree, are based in myth. It's equivalent to conflating "social construct" with "not real". I don't particularly believe in a higher power myself, but I use myths to help communicate and understand others all the time. Myths can be helpful whether they are "true" or not. They are reflections of the world we see. Lies are an attempt to reform how the world is to be seen. I probably sound pretentious, and, yeah, I probably am. But I just find it kinda gross to paint storytelling in that light regardless of the point you're making.
hey FYI George was talking about his personal expenses being 10k and only getting paid 5k so he was losing money from his saving and logan lied that George took the Celsius deal without giving him a chance to offer him a deal with prime when clearly George saying i will take half the deal for prime and logan saying i wont pay you a dime yada yada etc..

I'll be honest, Mike is growing on me. Hasan has had him on and stuff, and he seems reasonable and empathetic, and the moment where he tried to relate to George and make him feel better solidified that for me. He knew George was under a specific pressure and was upset and he stuck up for his friend. I appreciate that, even if George overreacted.

It really bothered me how quickly stanz turned on George the moment he started to talk about his working conditions, It wouldnt surprise me if it came to light that he exploits his collaborators as well.
I’ll be honest bobby lee isn’t funny to me he either is making fun of someone on the panel, self deprecating or literally just making up stories that are designed to hit a demographic of 6th graders. Logan clearly had his disagreements with religion and mike clearly tried to make his friend more comfortable talking about it which was a perfect storm but he was literally the only decent human being on that podcast and that’s why people are watching his podcast instead now
both logan and george need to look in the mirror and genuinely ask themselves “what if i’m wrong”. they both suffer from chronic “i’m always right/i’m never wrong” syndrome which has never been true for anyone ever.

There’s a lot more to how George was treated, and how he treated Logan/how he views Jake. Jidion talks about how fake logan is. Logan is definetley misdirecting the conversation only bringing up specific points that he could “prove” but not the point on his characteristics right?

George's rebuttal went from tought talk to suddenly out of context bc he said those thing out of anger.

No idea who George is outside this video, but the monologues are so cliche and insincere. Maybe he's borrowing someone's words cause he can't express himself but "I was the person who made everyone laugh", I feel like he's saying that because its a common phrase in this context and not because it's genuine part of his struggle.

I used to watch this podcast every day until the crypto scam (fool me once, you know?) so there is a HUGE bit of lore you need to know about the Bobby thing..
George originally came to LA to be a musician. He tried for a few years to minor, minor success and met Logan along the way. Logan was “a true friend” and told him he was good at music, but wasn’t good enough to actually make it huge, so he should give it up and become a comedian bc he’s funny. So, over the next few years George started doing standup and really got weird about comedy lol. So I think he was hoping to connect with Bobby Lee on a human level like as a fellow comedian… Whereas Bobby was looking at it as like, “oh here’s our friend- he’s an up-and-coming comedian and the joke guy on the podcast” and probably never thought he would take the taunting so seriously, since comedians are always so mean to each other lol.
The only other thing I’ll say is that I was always under the impression that George was the third host in every sense… Like he was paid less and was expected to talk less… Kind of like he meant to add more to the conversation when it was just the other two main guys there… Mike and logan… but when guests were there, he was kind of supposed to take a backseat and kind of let the guest talk where he would usually talk with exception of a few little quips and stuff. I think that’s what he was actually hired to do.
So you have to consider that too when you think about the fact that he was talking about his own life struggles during Bobby’s interview lol not only was it wild to do during someone else’s interview to begin with.. in such a long-winded way… but he’s supposed to talk the least too, like that’s his actual position lol… Which makes it so so much weirder what he did w Bobby.
I honestly think by that point he was just feeling really insecure and he wanted the respect of a “real” comedian in front of logan… So not only not get it but to be disrespected was just too much for him
And if you ever watch his new podcast, it’s very clear that he just likes to wax poetic about his own thoughts and beliefs… And that’s fine lol but it didn’t fit with the other guys and with what he was supposed to be doing as his position on Impaulsive.
But isn’t that INSANE that he gave up the thing he came to LA for bc of logan….?!
