What a fantastic vlog! I've never heard of Wynwood before--such a cool vibe. The colors made this vlog really pop. Lia rocked the pink bucket hat 💖!! My favorite Florida vid so far. xx
Great video Joel and Lia, When I was in college in Miami in the late 90s early 00s . Wywood was a very different area. It was all abandoned, no one went there. Now I am amazed of all the changes that have happened in that area. Its like day and night. I have not been to Miami in ages, but will definitely will take a tour of Wynwood. Looks like a really cool place.
Aww that little rainbow shop was amazing! I could just feel the warmth thru the vid! Making me homesick lol! My family lives in Tampa. Hoping you got to see the beautiful Art Deco buildings and the house Gianni Versace lived in! So wet and rainy here in the UK lately! Glad you loved it! x
My friend came to visit from NY and she loves to go to Miami. I live like 45 mins from there and I felt like I was on vacation. We went to Wynwood. It’s beautiful all the art work on the buildings.
Love watching your videos. Had a semi rough day, and layed down. Decided to rewatch some of your U.S. videos, and walaa! Felt so much better! I could listen to your accents all day. Especially Joel. It's so soothing in a therapeutic kinda way. 😄
Joel I love how you always go straight for the sweets, I have a sweet tooth too. 🍪🍦 Usually I’ll try not to have too much sugar two often though, unless I am on vacation because I’ll just get right back to exercising anyway as soon as I’m home. I used to be really hard on myself about it because for such a long time I had a really bad addiction to sugar and would have it way too often, so now I’ve learned to limit myself and try not to get too obsessive over how much I’m having. Also I like the public art around Wynwood, it seems like a really artsy and interesting place. 😎🌟❇️❤️
you might be surprised but there is a world of "car people" who very much do hear a loud engine and say "Wow that is so cool!" They can even tell the type of engine by the tone of loud noise. On another note: I love walking around these types of areas. There are quite a few here in LA like Abbott Kinney in Venice Beach but i don't know most of them cause i'm kinda a homebody since Covid hit. Also i love graffiti. Many people don't get it because they have no connection to hip-hop culture but i was raised on it in the 80s so graffiti is totally something i relate to. Also there are lots of murals around LA too and just street art.
The sink in the bakery was there because the bakery you were in (Zak the baker), is a kosher bakery/cafe. Orthodox Jews wash their hands with a cup of water 3 times and make a special blessing before eating bread.
WynWood used to be a Warehouse & Clothing design / Manufacturing district just north of downtown Miami. It is also the heart of Miami's Puerto Rican neighborhood but that is rapidly changing. In the last 20 years or so it has become a "Hip" & "Gentrified" neighborhood for Artists.
I have to say that I missed seeing Lia in her wide-brimmed black sunhat with those pink sunglasses. Beautiful! And there was a previous "wide-brimmed" shot before that in a different hat.
I can't believe you didn't go to the best place in Wynwood, "the Walt Grace car and GUITAR museum." We're talking some of the best Gibson Les Paul, Fender Stratocaster and Fender Telecaster guitars. Every red blooded American should go there. I was there and brought along my Fender Eric Clapton signature Crash 1 Stratocaster and jammed in the Plexiglas studio room plugged into a Marshall full stack amp for about an hour.
@@elizabethw.454 Yes. The brand is Le Labo. The specific scent is called Santal 33. It is VERY distinctive and it is unisex. It has a very pronounced sillage... that is to say a strong "waft" of the scent if someone walks by wearing it. It is all over New York and Los Angeles and presumably, London. Le Labo is a kind of modern, edgy kind of perfume maker. They usually locate their boutiques in "hipster" cool neighborhoods. $$$$ As a fragrance collector, it always amuses me people always call it "Le Labo." Le Labo makes about 40 different scents with different names. Santal 33 is highly likely the one she loves. I'd bet $1,000 on it. $200 for 50ml. $300 for 100ml.
@@markshannon2959 my sister really likes their rose scent. She asked me to get her the bar soap in that scent and when I saw the price it was a bit of a shock for me. It's nice but not that nice 😱
Anosmia or anosmic is what “nose blind” is or when you loose your sense of smell. I just finished evaluating / sniffing 500 different perfumes, it took 3 weeks. Safe travels y’all
12:15 Oy. Imagine thinking that a town covered in graffiti done mostly by commissioned artists is the same thing as towns where all the alleys and traincars are covered in "graffiti" that is really just some 15 year old who got a hold of a spray can and wrote "balls" in a dozen different places.
@13:00 ~ Loud cars. You have my full sympathy on this topic. It is unnecessary and painfull for some folks. My theory is that these men have only this outlet to be bullies. Otherwise, get sand kicked in their faces, by lesbians with butch haircuts.
Lol Joel and lia don’t understand American car culture the soun has nothing to do with status and all about power and yes there millions of pin the us who hear that sound and love it and say I want that
Why is Lia putting on that phony voice when she was inside the store with the rainbow/car/alpaca? Makes me want to mute her. Joel, keep being fabulous.

"That's so Wynwood", that's hilarious I'm going to use that next time I go there.
Lia, I can’t imagine you in Florida without those pink sunglasses. They are everything. And I’ve always said it. Cool, hip neighborhood. 🎨
I think that hat & bag was such you and Miami! I love the public art in Wynwood.

Hi. We use coconut milk in our Jamaican rice & peas, coconut milk is sold in the supermarkets.
Wynwood is an artist paradise. Murals/graffiti is a recognized art form just like the impressionists are. It is wonderful you experienced it. 💛💛💛🇨🇦
This vlog was “So Wynwood”!!! 😆🥂
My friend came to visit from NY and she loves to go to Miami. I live like 45 mins from there and I felt like I was on vacation. We went to Wynwood. It’s beautiful all the art work on the buildings.
Lia repeating the phrase “and I’ve always said it”… 😂😂😂😂

We drink milk in the US. It's the fringe that drink pressed nuts.
Lia, if you get tired of traveling with Joel, I'll go with him!!! :D

I love watchin y’all livin your best lives 🙌
Miami is Latino. Cafe con leche(coffee w/mike) is what they do
I’d love to wander for hours in that neighborhood. The Art and shops both looked amazing
Wynwood is magnificent! Thanks for the video ❤️
Im from Miami and the clubs there go crazy on the weekends
We will be staying in Miami next weekend awaiting to board a cruise ship! Enjoyed this video!

They are so British,lol
I'd definitely visit! I enjoyed the bug cart/ and the track runner shop as well!
I know exactly what books you were talking about. 😂 I was in that store in January. Fun store, and yeah, those books were wild.
you guys need to do cruise ships next...
Loved this video!
Awww! You missed longtime Wynwood GEM Kawaii Universe!! There’s always NEXT TIME! ❤️
Omg! I wish I’d known you were in Miami! I literally just did a photoshoot at Wynwood walls.
What a blast in the hood, glad you explored. Lia looks lovely in the bucket hat, and Joel...yummy buff. Good for you guys!!!
The sink in the bakery was there because the bakery you were in (Zak the baker), is a kosher bakery/cafe. Orthodox Jews wash their hands with a cup of water 3 times and make a special blessing before eating bread.
I love Wynwood and I missing living near Miami
The dog art drawing on the window of one of those stores, kinda reminded me of Ava.
You called out Ruthie from Aviator Nation in Austin! HI RUTHIE!!!
You passed by Warby Parker and didn't go in?? Lia would have been in glasses heaven!!
Thanks for showing us around Windward
It's called "WynWood".
I used to work at wynwood kitchen and bar
Coconut milk and Oat milk are very coastal. In New York every cafe has five kinds of milk other than cow. Same with San Fran and Los Angeles.
Glad you enjoyed Wynwood but how did you not make it to The Wynwood Walls? That is where all of the Art is displayed outside.
Joel and Lia .... You Must go to the Drag shows either at R House in Wynwood or at the Palace Bar (They dance on Ocean Drive)
Love you guys!
Cute 🥰 fishbraid ponytail lia.

Turn it inside out when you wash it; and I wish you had bought the bucket hat. :)

Love Florida 🤘🏻☀️
Hope you got a chance to go to the Wynwood Walls. I really enjoyed my visit there. Be a shame to be right there and not go.
What model of car was that inside the Pitusa store?
Looked like a porche to me but unsure of the model, but I could be wrong, I seen a newer one on the street too
Looks like an old Porsche 911.
What was the fragrance you said your friends wear and you liked?
Well, technically speaking, only mammals produce milk. Plants produce moisture or "juice" . 👍
Come to MN to shop. No tax on clothing.
wynnwood has that outdoor graffiti museum that is worth looking at and yeah admission fee but it actually goes to pay the artists.
WynWood Walls and I'm surprised they didn't even go there.
Shoreditch is a real place I thought it was just those guys Noel and Howard moon
Love the art
Grew up there. Not what it used to be back in the days.
What was the name of the perfume she was talking about?
Le Labo probably Santal 33

As shown on 1:03.
LA's version of Wynwood/East London would be Venice lol
Venice is disgusting
FYI -that sink had a special cup with 2 handles that is uses for ritual washing of hands before eating in the Jewish tradition.

I kept getting disoriented every time they said Wynwood, because I was hearing windward, which is what some people call an area where I used to live.
I heard that as well lol
You guys are hilarious but we don’t tip for clothes just for service rendered 😂
When is lia vlog is gonna be up for Miami with Joel?
And also 1:03-1:04 too?
Stucko Paradise
you guys still in the 305 ? Hope you both have a lovely legendary time.
Joel and Lia, have you been down Lambeth Way doing the Lambeth Walk? Oi
Watching these vlogs, and knowing where I live, shows the reason they won't let Americans visit Japan, right now.
Joel & Lia, is it possible to set up an annual membership? I would rather join and pay for 12 or 24 months than have $1.09 taken out each month.
I'm in Iowa and we have oat, almond, coconut, and soy milk at every coffee place! Sorry they didn't have there! Weird!

I ❤️ you guys
Did you guys see the neon sign in the first shop?
SPILL TEA NOT MILK
I seen that! All I seen was spill tea milk, I didn't see the "not" part and was trying to figure out the significance. My gosh that's hilarious!😂
Anyone else waiting for that cookie critique?? Thought they were going to bite into it 😂
That is a Sidewalk
you guy alway feel so posh to me

Joel, keep being fabulous.
I hate noisy cars. If I want something like that then I’ll go to the racetrack. Not on the local streets
I’m definitely adding this town to my list when I plan a trip to Miami
