I agree, I own a 38,40,45 and 2 9mm, I carry a 9mm because if I 'm honest, I've rarely had a day where I can't put the whole mag in a coffee lid at 25 ft away. The others are effective but I have missed.
He keeps his back straight the whole time even when he goes to grab another gun from the table. Maybe he’s having a hard time getting his midsection to bend
True story, one of my close friends used to carry a Dessert Eagle. I would always think to myself, well if we ever get mugged by a bear or the bad guys roll up in a tank, we may stand a chance.
Nathan Wenz I think I should have explained why I would find it difficult to conceal the Desert Eagle. You see, I live in Houston where it's 90-110 degrees year round. On top of that, the humidity is unspeakable. A jacket would not only be impractical, it would also be a dead giveaway. I would be the only one wearing a jacket, so that would arouse suspicion. However, if I lived somewhere that had normal weather, a jacket would be just the thing.
There is nothing wrong with the Bersa which fits a persons hand way better than the Sig. The Sig has a kinds of snag points to catch on things. Do not use the trigger lock if you don't like. My Bersa works just fine and is purpose built for concealed carry.
I agree a Thunder 380 is a so-so concealed carry option. However, as an owner for more than a decade and 3000+ rounds down range, I can attest that it is well made and extremely accurate, given it's modest price point.
This guy's over-acted animation is a bit over the top, too. I owned a Bersa Thunder Plus which is the 15 round magazine capacity which had the best trigger pull of a handgun I felt in decades. It was accurate, too. I say this in past tense because I gave it to my son.
I've had mine for about 8 years. I have fired several hundred rounds through it, mostly FMJ but quite a few hollow points also without one single FTF or FTE, so I'm pretty happy with mine
Tim Simoneaux by far the worst gunhandling I see is from Army guys. Shoddy marksmanship, unsafe practices, and whenever we try to make a correction the response is always "hur dur I'm in t3h Army shut it Chair Force." Then they get kicked off the range and have to explain to their first sausage why they need to re-qualify.
PJ's and Combat Controllers? Saw a show with those guys going into a hot areas in Afghanistan and Iraq to save lives and they were using guns. Could have been fake. You tell me?
With 5,800 dislikes as of March 2020, it seems that people took some of the comments personally, and if that wasn't the case, "I'm trying to make my mustache look as disapproving as possible" probably sealed the deal.
A cop once told me, that the best gun to use for self defense is the one you train with. I didn't watch this video past the part where he said the Bersa thunder .380 was crap. I've carried a Bersa thunder .380 and a Beretta 92fs and sometimes a S&W .357 J-frame. All of which are perfectly fine for self-defense purposes.
Ron Smith the bersa is the next gun I want to get. I currently have the 92fs and I don't see why people don't like it. But there seems to be a lot of people in the comments that like the bersa too.
I have the Bersa Firestorm and I love the gun. Yes the mag not in and the gun not being able to fire a round in the chamber isn’t favorable . But the gun shoots great with minimal recoil . I’ve shot 2500 rounds through it and the only jamming issues I’ve had come from non factory Bersa mags I bought at a gun show . Shot 100 grain rounds through it and the gun fires like a fuckin champ.
Not debating any choices, but I would have liked more explanation for some of the guns you've chosen besides "it doesn't work/it sucks" why doesn't it work? Why does it suck?
Me too but I'm glad he didn't ever since I picked one up and actually tried one out to see how reliable it was I really don't have too much shit to talk on him anymore besides the fact that they're heavy what kind of ugly
this list is garbage - especially when calling out the taurus TCP - the tcp is proven to be a great, reliable firearm - especially those who are on a very tight budget
Gun Nuts Media have you experienced the taurus being crappy? Serious question. I only ask as I have read and heard numerous accounts from people who carry that Taurus every day and I believe you are the first I have ever heard say anything negative about it. To me sounds like the typical "gun snob" speak. "If the gun doesnt atleast cost $500-600 is sucks" 😆
Any gun is better than NO gun! In defense of the NAA mini (and, BTW, they've come out with a swing out cylinder model), the .22 WMR is a hot round that'll get you out of a jam. In hot climes, or jogging, this may be your best option.
I wouldn't waste your time, Lukas. These appendix carry types have no capacity for common sense. They are usually in denial about the truth of where their gun is actually pointed. They are the kind of people who will lecture you all day on the laws of gun safety, but have no problem keeping a loaded firearm pointed at their femoral artery and penis all day long. For them, it's worth it to risk a life threatening injury every day for some insignificant perceived benefit, because 3 o'clock or 5 o'clock positions aren't tacticool enough for the dangerous threats they face on a daily basis.
C G the funniest part is that if you would carry it in more of a cross draw fashion (like a right handed person would carry just above the left leg), they wouldn't be pointing it at anything. But capacity, common sense, and whatnot just like you said.
I have a Bersa Thunder .380 because a) my old full-frame 9mm was difficult to conceal (a better holster would have helped, but still) and b) Bersa Thunder was cheap. I figure a gun I can afford on my hip is more effective than one I can't afford staying under glass at the gun shop. A few thoughts. 1) Your decocker may need work. Mine is stiff, but not nearly as stiff as yours appears to be. In fairness, maybe *most* of them are that stiff and mine is the anomaly. 2) Yes, it has a keylock. With apologies for being blunt ... so what? When the situation doesn't call for the gun to be mechanically locked, don't lock it. Why does a built-in lock that you may or may not ever use make the gun suck? 3) I agree magazine disconnect safeties suck... but the Bersa disconnect can be completely disabled in less than five minutes , simply by removing a certain spring. (It can be reinstated equally quickly.) 4) I don't mind the magazine release. My old 9mm had the release pretty much right under my thumb in firing position, and I accidentally bumped it more than once while firing. If I was lucky, the magazine came out or partway out and it was obvious what had happened. A few times, it dropped *just* enough to engage the magazine disconnect, without dropping enough to be obvious, leading to wondering why gun not go bang. And finally... at 3:54, dropping the mag out of the Bersa... nice catch! 8-)
I've owned two Thunders and I never had any trouble operating the decocker. The only trouble I had with either of mine was stove-piping caused by my installing the recoil spring backwards. Reversed it and all was well. Actually, Bersas are quite good for concealed carry and print far less than, say, a Glock 19 which I think is overrated.
Thanks for your service. Have to support the Bersa Thunder 380 for CCW. I've had mine for several years with zero issues. Carry AIWB. For the price, very hard to beat.
Actually liked the Bersa thunder and it worked flawless for me for 6 years. So you never really explained why their bad. Never experience the problem you had. Had no problem with the TCP either.
All I caught was the heavy de-cocker and double action pull. I found that most girls (in my family anyway) can't hit shit with a little gun unless you put a laser on it. Give them a dot and it is game on.
My 13 year old daughter has no problem with the trigger pull on a bersa thunder 380 when i take her out to the range....why do you? Oh thats right, you're chair force 😂
He didn't know how to properly handle the Bersa. Get the right holster and have safety off. Then practice with the 1st DA shot. The rest SA is easy. The magazine safety is barely to be an issue.
But your not an "expert", apparently only experts have problems with Bersas. I took mine down put in some decent synthetic lube and it's one smooth little shooter, and yes I have a Browning BDA and a CZ-75 and it's just as smooth as they are or so damn close there is no discernible difference in either operation or smoothness, but again like you I'm no expert, I just own and shoot them.
I have a Taurus G2c and I am not ashamed to say this because I have not had or heard of any problems with this gun , I’m going to get some mill work maybe some raptor cuts and a red dot and I may buy another one for $220 can’t beat that with a stick!
Yo to hell with your opinion on the bersa, third gun i ever bought and it came with the 15 round magazine. It was accurate and never jammed on me. Best "bang" for the buck. So to stand there and suggest what guns suck for you is not what would suck for anyone else. Personal preference
ThirdGenDude92 well I agree. its everyones preference. I'm just saying my was used and was a bad gun choice for me. I carry a glock 40 cal. Gen3 so I'm happy with that.
Depending on who you're trying to keep your gun concealed from, that 34 was far from what many consider well concealed. Anybody who's been around guns for a decent amount of time could point at your waistline and say "gun".
The TCP 738 is HAMMER fired, not striker. Before the LCPII it had the smoothest trigger pull of the pocket 380s and also had a slide lock and last round hold-open that was missing from many of the other options. While I don't shoot it as often as my 1911 and XD, the TCP has never failed in several hundred rounds which is fine by me. It's a gun that is carried a lot and shot less frequently.I understand you may not like many of Taurus' offerings but they do make some serviceable models (92, 1911, wheel guns)
It's a macho thing. No one like to admit they have smaller-than-average hands. It's the same reason why they only sell "large" work-gloves at Home Depot.
Man, this guy has issues. Economics be damned. I carry reliable throw away all metal pistols. If lost or stolen or tossed off a bridge, I then go home and get something else out of the safe. I don't mind carrying good quality machinery, I just have a hard time when they are stolen or if used in self defense and then disposed in an orderly manner. I might have regrets throwing my Beretta or Browning in the ocean. But my Bersa, I'll give it a good toss and drink a toast to saving my life.
Never had to, but I refuse to go to jail for someone who doesn't obey the law. It's like not answering a question for incriminating content. I will not supply information to incriminate myself because of self defense.
I was genuinely pissed when I seen the first gun and thought it was a shield. But damn how are they not sued is a great question. I could barely tell the difference. Also first time viewer. Great video!
I have a Bersa 380 Plus, 15 rounds. I can't say anything negative about it. It never jams. the rear site is adjustable. The safety is a little stiff, but with proper technique, no problem. I'm right handed and use my left thumb to unlock the safety. The trigger lock is on only at home when I am not carrying for child safety. The barrel is part of the lower, and I feel helps with accuracy. Is it a match competition, No. but it is easy to carry chambered safely. The grip is good being a double stack.
You are LITERALLY the only person I've ever heard say anything bad about the Bersa .380. Sorry, but I'm not very inclined to take your word on that one. Everything else I fully agree is terrible.
Anyone bashing the Bersa .380 obviously hasn't spent much time with it. The are HIGHLY reliable, and extremely accurate. The plus model is an amazing bargain.
I agree. Bashing the Bersa .380 just sounds plain wrong. It can shoot any .380 ammo. It's accurate with manageable recoil. It's easy for ccw for small to mid size person. I have respect for the guy who did the video, but his opinion about this gun is not well made.
I'll be the second person and say I've owned two Bersa handguns and they both broke on me, they seem like they are made of pot metal and Toys R Us plastic, not saying Bersa doesn't make good guns but the Thunder series is just to cheaply made and high priced for the options in todays market.
The Bersa Thunder is the only gun in this video I've owned. It shot well enough, but was bloody difficult to operate. For a mid-sized 380 it was surprisingly rough on the shooting hand. The slide was hard to pull, the slide latch was stiff, and the mags were hard to load. I let my wife try it once, she couldn't rack the slide or load the mags. Gotta have strong hands. I sold it and got her a Walther PK380, much easier to load and shoot and easy on the hands.
Nah, easy to shoot, easy to operate. It's a blow-back operated gun, so it's not as smooth as a lot of other guns but it doesn't suck to shoot. The magazines do require a good tap to get them to seat properly, owing to the magazine disconnect safety.
Dom, that's absolutely right. I got my BT 380 a little over two years ago. Past the initial break in, it's a very easy weapon to manipulate. The decocker/safety can get a little stiff after shooting, but it clears up with a squirt of CLP during cleaning. Other than that, I really have nothing negative to say about it.
I will agree with all EXCEPT the Bersa thunder 380. One of the most reliable handguns I’ve ever owned. You can work on the triggers and make them much better fairly cheap. The magazine release wasn’t too bad for me I have shmedium hands, but if you shoot enough you can become quiet efficient with mag changes. My decocker/safety wasn’t near as hard to flip up and down like yours seemed to be. I honestly have no complaints for the little thunder.
If anyone ever has a problem with you carrying a 1911..ask them how many Japanese fighters did the pistol they carry shoot out of the air? I can tell you that a 1911 took one down..
Not one thing wrong with CC a 1911. I do from time to time, depending on how I am dressed. Carry what you are comfortable with, and the 1911 is one that is proven time and time again to get the job done.
are you trying to say " I sure as hell would not want to be shot with a 22 magnum?" because you fucked that all up... what would you want to be shot with?
He is saying some people do carry it as a primary. Do not think it is that bad. Just the mere pointing of a gun is usually a good enough deterrent. The fact is however statistically that as a regular citizen you will never have to unholster a gun for use. By nature the worst "concealed carry" would be a gun that does not conceal well. By that a shotgun or 50 cal would probably be the worst. A little NAA magnum is so "concealable" one could probably be concealed on your person even if you were naked :p
I don't get your hate for the Bersa? I get it you don't like the safety features. If the controls are still that stiff you have not shot the gun enough to have broken them in properly. Yes it is a little larger than SOME .380s, it is also more accurate than most 380s. If you don't like the side lock then don't use the key and engage it. wow that was simple. The magazine release will again loosen up during break in. 2 it is a great spot to keep someone from accidentally hitting it. The only thing we agree on is the magazine disconnect safety. But then again 3 minutes and that safety can be defeated. With no loss of dependability.
How many of these junk guns did you fire on the range, with any amount of rounds fired? Have to disagree with you on the Bersa Thunder 380. I have owned 4 of them never a failure to feed in double or single action. Its up close and personal protection. I have no problem concealing 1 at all. My problem with the Glock 43 to pricy for what it is. Limited rounds in a big gun. I agree with your views on the Taurus complete junk. Mini revolvers good for shooting child molesters in the balls or pussy, its a great here you go weapon. They won't violate kids ever again.
I went through a CATM class once.... I realize you gotta teach what they give you but loading 32 three round mags, 16 five round mags, etc was the stupidist shit i've been through. Who carries mags loaded like that? Also two to the chest, one to the head decock and holster or find the dot is terrible muscle memory building. Somebody is going to do that in a stressful situation where they needed to keep their pistol out or needed to keep firing. Whoever developed that should be sent off to North Korea.
I'm not familiar with that incident. Either there is muscle memory or there is not. Can't have it some of the time and then throw it out the window at others. Defending poor instruction doesn't help anyone and erodes ones credibility.
+Helecopter Rides sigh. No one thinks that the AFQC is teaching anyone to actually fight. And no one actually shoots the AFQC often enough to develop muscle memory.
I have the Bersa Firestorm (California's version of the Thunder). It has been solid. I just don't like the 380 period because the price of 380 ammo....other than that......great gun!
With a flood of really bad firearms being sold for CCW... you picked out several that are nowhere near the "worst"... Better choices available, sure... but calling these the "worst" is pretty ridiculous and dishonest.
Ok Michael, If you are going to ridicule and call the judgement of a Combat Arms Instructor ridiculous and dishonest, lets see you step up with your list of guns less suitable for their stated purpose.
So mad! I love it when people get emotional over dumb shit like guns. Sorry I make a living doing this and you're stuck working some shitty desk job hating your life.
I make a very good living and love my job. I love my life and enjoy the fact I don't have to ask people to fund my shit video's. I guess the $10.00 you lost from UA-cam advertisement really hurt your bottom line. If it would help, the price of aluminum cans has increased so your can collecting should offset the loss.
+Paul Roberts for someone who claims to be smart, you sure don't know how to use an apostrophe. Or how to write in Latin, but that was a different comment.
Have you tried the improved version of the Remington R51? I had one of the first run, and I have to say I didn't experience any of the issues reported by other owners. Mine loaded fine and went "bang" every time I pulled the trigger, but I contacted Remington after they announced the recall and exchanged it for the updated model. I really don't notice any difference in firing it, and it lives up to the claims of being easy to get back on target after each shot. Remington handled that recall very professionally, without the slightest bit of hassle, and they provided four new magazines with the exchange. The only down side is that the six magazines I had for the original one are not approved for use in the "new" gun. I agree with you that the design is very interesting, and I also think its shape and smooth contours make it very easy to carry and draw the R51 from concealment. It is, however, the hardest gun I own to disassemble and put back together. It gets easier with practice (like most firearms do).
Bersa Thunder: I owned one, I loved it. It was an excellent gun. He's full of crap. It was accurate, felt great, was just heavy enough that it absorbed the 380 recoil so it shot like a 22. Don't like 380? OK fine. But the trigger was great, and I wasn't a pussy, the trigger release worked fine. Why did I sell it? Because I got it for my wife, but she simply couldn't handle the complexity of the mechanism. She needed a simpler pistol. And because 380 ammo is stupid expensive and underpowered. So why not just shoot a 9 mm that is much cheaper to shoot, and can be lighter. The derringers do suck. No doubt. Stupid gun.
Though I agree that most of the guns that you have shown in this video are junk guns, I cant believe that you would include a NAA Pug as a primary concealed carry pistol. I don't believe that anyone who is genuinely committed to protecting themselves with a firearm would ever consider a single action, micro revolver as their primary weapon of choice. However, have you ever heard of a "get off me" gun? A last ditch effort right before some bad guy introduces a pipe to your head or inserts a knife between your ribs while on the ground in a hand to hand confrontation. I don't own an NAA pistol, but have very seriously considered buying one just to have in a pocket or on an ankle, in case I find myself with no other option other than kissing my ass goodbye.
I own a naa and to be honest I was actually very surprised with it. I'm very happy with the one that I bought. Surprisingly accurate for it's size and yes it is very much a belly gun. It's a backup. An extra 5 rounds when you don't have another mag ready.
Tbh if you have someone on top of you wielding a weapon especially a knife I doubt you are going to get to your gun in your pocket or on your ankle especially having to cock it back to fire it one at a time. Might as well carry a .380 semi auto mouse gun at that point.
Dude the Glock 43 is really nothing special other than having the name Glock. The trigger is awful on the 43 and the recoil for a 9 sucks my cheapo Taurus pt111 has better recoil than the 43. I dumped a 500 43 for a $350 pps m2 by far the best and most comfortable gun IMO
I agree I owned both the 43 had a bit more recoil accuracy was about the same I sold it lol I have a 357 mag and glock 19 gen 4 and a fns40c in my line up
I thought the 43 was great but the PPS is MILES better. It irks the shit out of me that Walther ditched the paddle mag release on it and the PPQ though
That all sounds great and most likely it would happen that way if it was an old-fashioned drawing contest -- sounds realistic. I wonder how fast you would be drawing if you were waring board shorts and a tank top or your workout clothing. Could you even conceal your EDC what those outfits? Like most people, I prefer to tailor my EDC around my lifestyle not other way around. However, we do agree one thing, the NAA is well made firearm.
I LOVE my Walther PK380. It was my first gun and it is perfect for concealment and it’s ergonomic design makes it PERFECT as a target - shooting gun on the range.
Really? I’d say folks that underestimate the 9mm have zero credibility. There’s a reason it’s the most issued round In militaries and police forces around the world. What’s your CCW piece chambered in before I get really ugly. Please tell me it’s .45
Bullshit on the bersa thunder. 380. I have that exact pistol. Works perfectly, maybe you should oil it. I love the fixed barrel too. I love how he claims he's military. Talking about face shooting people, we were trained to aim center mass in the army. He keeps calling them guns. We got smoked for calling them guns, just like calling a magazine a clip. It was ALWAYS rifle and sidearm or pistol. Hi point is set up the same as a glock except hi point has a safety. Glock sucks!! My friend had a glock 20 10mm, he dropped it about 3 feet and it went off in his house while everyone was home. Hope he bangs into something and he figures out the hard way what the shittiest concealed carry weapon really is. Lmao!
Maybe you should take that bersa out and break it in. you are very wrong on all aspects of this gun. I don't have one but my dad does and it is very easy to use and shoot.
xranger1969 that Versa will out shoot and outperform that Glock that he loves so much plus a 357 Magnum and a c will outperform that Glock 45 that he loves so much 45 Autos have a large projectile but feet per second is slowing down because of the heavy projectile the 357 Magnum is does a lot more has four is penetration projectile function and distance
I was skeptical, I thought this video and this person we're going to suck. But you sir know your guns and you did not suck, respect. And thank you for your your service
Yeah, but it actually IS lol.. small, easy to conceal, carried by the Argentinean air force pilots as their carry piece because it's reliable as all get out and fits wherever they have a small pocket to stick it in... I've dumped thousands of rounds thru mine, which is the thunder .380 CC, the concealed carry version, and it's one of the best pistols I own and carry, hell, it's my backup to my duty gun! Again, it's all about personal preference and budgetary constraints lol, but IMHO, this dude is a total doushenozzle. Fin.
I have never heard a bad thing about them. I own a Bersa Thunder Pro UC 9mm that holds 13 rds and it has the little trigger lock as well. Here is the thing... You just ignore it. I have never locked it and keep the key in the case it came in. I don't understand why he even pointed it out. It really isn't a negative strike against the pistol. Just ignore it like most Bersa owners do. He's acting like you need to use the key to operate the pistol.
Among handguns,that I carry are the,bersa thunder and,the,thunder plus. Mine are reliable and do,what I,ask of,them. Now,I,also use,a kahr cm9, a taurus g2, a smith m and p,compact and,even a lcp2 in my,pocket. It,depends,on the,weather and,what I can wear. Its,really hot,where I,live,and cut,offs and tank tops for,me are,my,uniform
ashley johansson- why? i know here are pros and cons, bu i would like to know why you think the revolver is better than a 1911. btw. im no 1911 fan boy. my point of interest is far far older than that. i build flintlocks.
My wife daily carries a Bersa Thunder .380 and loves it. We bought it new and have put just a little over 3000 rounds through it at the range and have NEVER had a single issue. The release isn't stiff at all and the gun is relatively small. Yes, there are smaller for a .380 and its comparatively larger, but fits her hand very well and is extremely easy to conceal. Trigger pull isn't that long realistically. It's a fantastic gun hands down. Other than that, I agree with the other 4.
I went & did my cert training with a pt-145 pro & the Cert instructor said i was crazy & to use his Glock 17. So i did & guess what happened? Three FTF's, Two FTE's & Two failure to loads! I then ran my Taurus PT 145 with three flawless rounds with center mass groupings at 3 to 4 inches apart. So any gun can be crappy no matter who makes it even though there's less chance of problems with certain ones. Carry what works for you BUT carry something!
Hahahaha! Now that's a funny story, you must have been "limp wristing it (I think that's the #1 excuse for Glock owners), it's funny but Taurus never seem to have problems with limp-wristing.
No, I've been shooting since i was 10. I can shoot very well with high cal ammo such as .45, 357 mag, even .50AE so i don't think shooting a 9mm will all of a sudden cause me to be limp wrist'd. I practice even pull up to the break then nice breath control past the break with a smooth pull. I'm pretty good if a do say so myself. Malfunctions can happen with any mechanical tool no matter who makes it. Maybe they just didn't clean it or something???
Usually the Glock Fan boys response is that you were limp-wristing because as we "all know" Glocks are infallible and not subject to failure. I was just making a comment on how asinine some of them than be. What you needed to be qualifying with was the gun you were to be using. Given the information given up to this point I'll say you were better off carrying the Taurus considering the instructor was so convinced if it wasn't a Glock it wasn't worth carrying, his actions were as stupid as he was. Besides, any range instructor worth his salt isn't running around with a dirty gun, what if he just happened to be called upon to actually have to use it? What would he have done, Hollered "Bang, Bang"? Best to ya and enjoy your Taurus.
Tom Bailey I know he may not want to hear this but everybody does not like a Glock Glocks are supposed to be long-term very good guns but I can't stand them that's why a lot of other people don't like the clock I noticed and every referral you refer to some type of Glock blocks or not for people lift them up to be they're too much for two less
James Duncan personally, after shooting glocks for a while, i notice there is seemingly a higher degree of simplicity in operation compared to other compareable handguns. Double action hammer fired, like a sig 226, have a higher degree of safety maybe, with decockers and whatnot, but have generally more controls to operate in my opinion.
You're mistaken about the Taurus TCP. I'm a firearms instructor, License to Carry instructor and enthusiast since 1955- yes, I"m old (experienced). I've shot my TCP a ton, never failed, find the DA trigger to be almost Kahr-like (good) and much prefer the slide locking back after the last shot, unlike some of the others you mentioned. I've modified the grip simply by adding a Pacman rubber grip sleeve which fixes the too small grip for me. No animosity intended, it's simply that for the last 7 years I've owned this gun, it has proven to be an excellent choice. Thanks for your videos
You lost me at the bersa I loved mine and regret selling it after taking out the mag disconnect spring its a great carry gun accurate easy to use low recoil. You are a tool and have a boring monotone personality
+gun nuts media The irony in this statement is amusing. Just skimming through this comment section, you seem to react like a child to just about every bit of criticism. Sorry *your* feelings are so easily hurt by words.
moriver1 Absolutely! Totally agree. Reliable and more accurate than any other .380 in its class. Would trust my life with my TCP but can't say that about a Bodyguard or an LCP. That's based off my experience with all 3 of those guns. Everyone has their own opinion though.
I happen to like my Bersa .380, it's a blued model 383 [not the current painted version] and is very accurate for a short barrel, but yes it's get rather 'stiff' if not cleaned and maintained,so your opinions are questionable to me. The Remington may well be 'fixed' by now and has some very interesting features.
Totally missed the point on the NAA mini revolvers. Not everybody stands wearing pants and an untucked shirt all the time, which means your giant ass in-the-waistband Glock with its grip touching your navel and its barrel sticking halfway down to your knee isn't going to be practical or comfortable concealed carry for most of us, most of the time. An NAA is probably not the best EDC piece, but it's ideal for situations when you have to have the absolute smallest, lightest thing that will still do the trick, i.e. in minimalist clothing or super-deep-can't-leave-the-slightest-chance-of-discovery concealment. Being an Air Force type you probably never PT, but those of us that do aren't going to be able to run or lift with a 9mm or .380 in our gym shorts without it flopping around or seriously getting in the way. Side note: the NAA Sidewinder and Ranger II are swing out and top break (respectively) and can be quickly reloaded, if that's a major concern for you. Also, you neither praise nor damn the Kel-Tec(s), which is surprising because they usually elicit strong emotions one way or the other.
what in the fuck are you talking about? Im sorry did I offend a fanboi ? Are you really going to troll me for calling out a video for poor information by a "QUOTE" expert who has no clue what he is talking about. Are you really that low on the food chain that you are defending bad information. And it comes from someone who cannot even spell "Yeah Boy" omg you need to go have a cry and re-think your life choices.
WTF... are you 10 years old with an attitude? I agree that the information from the video is useless. I pulled this video up from a google search and thought it would be informative. There is absolutely no rhyme or reason for disliking any of the weapons he dislikes. Besides fodder about cheapness and price. First one appears to be a LC9s... awesome small 9mm. Bad if you have big hands... an example. Give me some FACTS why the pistol isn't worth my time! Grade: D
You are not wrong about the NAA Mini revolver, but...with the $40 folding holster/grip it becomes MUCH easier to manage. I was given one these guns (22mag), and before the modification it was awkward to hold and painful to control recoil. Now I can see possibly carrying it as better-than-nothing option when jogging or cycling.
I see what you mean about the safety but I have held one and for the price they go for its really pretty good rather have one than a damn glock especially a full sized where everyone can tell...
Opinions vary. Bersa Thunder cc is ,3 inches shorter than the 3,5 Thunder you showed. I had one and it was fantastic. Nine shots, very accurate , no malfunctions. Also the Taurus TCP FS, great gun. Got rid of one and had to get another. Thanks for the vid.
Isn't it a bit ironic, that you have a UA-cam channel with the slogan, "run your gun, not your mouth"? Just an observation. That's a bit of hippocracy. Don't you think?
Shame on Caleb Giddings for falsely accusing Paul Harrell of stolen valor, he should be sued into oblivion.
Yeah he's a real piece of shit.
Caleb .....meh. He got some little man syndrome.
And now hes ded... L to caleb
The worst 5 guns to carry are
1. 50 BMG BARRETT
2. MINI GUN
3. M1 GARAND
4. 7.62X54 PSL
5. 500 mossberg 20 plus inch barrel
PSL is a great gun m8
I carry nothing less than a fully staffed Death Star!
I've had a mini-gun hidden in my shorts many-a-time....
@@chris.3711 Fully staffed hahahahahahahahaha
22 TCM Mosin Obrez is best choice.
"Carry a gun that you can fire accurately", was the best piece advice given me by a Sheriff.
I agree, I own a 38,40,45 and 2 9mm, I carry a 9mm because if I 'm honest, I've rarely had a day where I can't put the whole mag in a coffee lid at 25 ft away. The others are effective but I have missed.
Carry a gun you’re comfortable with and can shoot accurately, end of subject
_No Tact_ and one that works
I agree as long as the gun fires that's really all that matters. He's so stuck on brands
00:57 "neither is a Glock 34" *stows weapon and spends the remainder of the video printing like a mug!* LOL
He keeps his back straight the whole time even when he goes to grab another gun from the table. Maybe he’s having a hard time getting his midsection to bend
Your "concealed" glock 34 is about as obvious as a small child covering themself with a blanket and so that they can be "invisible".
This guy seems smart...after all, he keeps a book in his pants
Obviously flintlock pistols are the best concealed carry weapon
A duel I say mmmmhmhmm
Laughs in Jack Sparrow
True story, one of my close friends used to carry a Dessert Eagle.
I would always think to myself, well if we ever get mugged by a bear or the bad guys roll up in a tank, we may stand a chance.
I'd do it.
One shot. One kill
michael I love the Desert Eagle, but I would sure hate to try and conceal one. Is that even possible without wearing baggy clothes?
Nathan Wenz I think I should have explained why I would find it difficult to conceal the Desert Eagle. You see, I live in Houston where it's 90-110 degrees year round. On top of that, the humidity is unspeakable. A jacket would not only be impractical, it would also be a dead giveaway. I would be the only one wearing a jacket, so that would arouse suspicion. However, if I lived somewhere that had normal weather, a jacket would be just the thing.
Glock 18 full auto
800 plus rounds through my TCP, gun has functioned flawlessly.
Congratulations
Have put over 300 through the one my wife carries...I love these experts...gosh they're good...bet the local gun stores love it when he shows up...
A person should carry what they are comfortable with . & Practice Practice Practice .
Unless it's a .32. Then you're doing it wrong.
How do you get to Carnegie Hall
There is nothing wrong with the Bersa which fits a persons hand way better than the Sig. The Sig has a kinds of snag points to catch on things. Do not use the trigger lock if you don't like. My Bersa works just fine and is purpose built for concealed carry.
dapsapsrp why would a trigger lock be an issue any way? Its for storage, no different that a padlock or gun safe, who told this guy he was an expert?
It saved my life .
After he said, "mini revolver" I thought the video froze hahahaha
I love my bersa, I bought it for the misses and I've run about 3000 rounds through it. Never had a single misfire, jam etc.
Wait...what?! The Air Force shoots guns?!
+Mark F. Grimsley not very well
We usually have an airmen per year negligently shoot themselves, almost always security forces.
Tim Simoneaux by far the worst gunhandling I see is from Army guys. Shoddy marksmanship, unsafe practices, and whenever we try to make a correction the response is always "hur dur I'm in t3h Army shut it Chair Force."
Then they get kicked off the range and have to explain to their first sausage why they need to re-qualify.
I've only gotten to work with SF guys from the Army, so luckily I never got to see their ASVAB waivers in action.
PJ's and Combat Controllers? Saw a show with those guys going into a hot areas in Afghanistan and Iraq to save lives and they were using guns. Could have been fake. You tell me?
He pulled that mini revolver and I died in laughter . I thought he was about to start a track meet 😂😂
With 5,800 dislikes as of March 2020, it seems that people took some of the comments personally, and if that wasn't the case, "I'm trying to make my mustache look as disapproving as possible" probably sealed the deal.
Dawnseeker2000 It is his damn egotistical attitude. He thinks he is Pistol Jesus.
His facial expression when he picked up the mini revolver...😂... PRICELESS!!
Not debating any choices, but I would have liked more explanation for some of the guns you've chosen besides "it doesn't work/it sucks" why doesn't it work? Why does it suck?
Neil Jones I'm listening... And I hear him saying trigger pull, etc...
Neil Jones I completely agree. This video was such a waste of 11 minutes of my life
He's going "...and the number one gun on my list..."
I keep thinking "Hi Point, Hi Point, Hi Point..."
Me too but I'm glad he didn't ever since I picked one up and actually tried one out to see how reliable it was I really don't have too much shit to talk on him anymore besides the fact that they're heavy what kind of ugly
I was waiting for every time he would pick one up he would say hi point
Love these “experts” who knows what’s best for me, dang even I don’t know that. That’s why you keep learning
this list is garbage - especially when calling out the taurus TCP - the tcp is proven to be a great, reliable firearm - especially those who are on a very tight budget
The only thing that the TCP is “proven” to be is another Taurus Crappy Product.
And with the shotshell in 22mag or 22 lr it is awesome to avoid dog bites and poisonous snakes.
I'm sure glad you pointed that Glock 34 toward a safe direction in the building before pointing it at your femoral artery. You can never be too safe!
Man it’s a good thing it was never pointed at my femoral artery, then.
Gun Nuts Media your femoral artery isn't in your leg?
Lukas Johnson it is. But my gun wasn’t pointed at it.
(It can be reinstated equally quickly.)
4) I don't mind the magazine release.
And finally... at 3:54, dropping the mag out of the Bersa... nice catch! 8-)
He's an angry elf.
You can't use that word! That's our word!
Hey, I'm pretty sure that elf can whoop your ass without breaking a sweat
😂😂🤣
Zachary Spencer how bout pissed off Marine? try that one...
mreshadow lmao 😂
the blank stare when you pulled out the revolver made me bust out laughing lolol
"What kind of crack are you smoking?" Lmaoo
I must admit I have a soft spot for the Bersa 380.
nothing wrong with a Bersa
Robert Gertz its a dogshit gun
get a glock
I have a Bersa thunder 380 it's a good very reliable gun that I've shot at least 500 rounds with no ftf .
"Pretty stupendous recoil" holding a .22
Could you run that by me one more time?
I see you are unfamiliar with the concept of “jokes”
Right when the revolver came up I couldn't stop laughing
Thanks for your service. Have to support the Bersa Thunder 380 for CCW. I've had mine for several years with zero issues. Carry AIWB. For the price, very hard to beat.
AND HE SAYS "MINI REVOLVERS" lol I couldn't stop laughing
Actually liked the Bersa thunder and it worked flawless for me for 6 years. So you never really explained why their bad. Never experience the problem you had. Had no problem with the TCP either.
All I caught was the heavy de-cocker and double action pull. I found that most girls (in my family anyway) can't hit shit with a little gun unless you put a laser on it. Give them a dot and it is game on.
My 13 year old daughter has no problem with the trigger pull on a bersa thunder 380 when i take her out to the range....why do you?
Oh thats right, you're chair force 😂
I think his problem was the safety/decocker and magazine safety
But I liked it the regular two tone I shot at a gun range
He didn't know how to properly handle the Bersa. Get the right holster and have safety off. Then practice with the 1st DA shot. The rest SA is easy. The magazine safety is barely to be an issue.
Sorry dude,I have 2 Bersa Thunders, thousands of rounds,no malfunction. But I take care of my stuff.
@@ChuckHydro That CZ-75 sucks so I am sending you my address to get rid of it. Lol.
ThirdGenDude92 I was thinking the same thing I agreed with every gun on this list but when he said bersa I was like wth man lol
agreed. I have a Bersa Plus and love it.
Got the cc bersa never an issue like it
Depending on who you're trying to keep your gun concealed from, that 34 was far from what many consider well concealed. Anybody who's been around guns for a decent amount of time could point at your waistline and say "gun".
+Cameron Austin I know! That's why I specifically mentioned in the description. Oh well, reading is hard.
I'll give credit where credit is due. I don't always read video descriptions.
The NAA Revolvers make good BUG's. Absolutely not for a primary.
Is it just me or does every gun reviewer at some point in a review claim to have " big hands"?
+Robert Johnson only the ones that have big hands.
So if you have normal hands, all your reviews are useless?
their hands get BIGGER as the guns get smaller. LOL. I enjoyed the video.
It's a macho thing. No one like to admit they have smaller-than-average hands. It's the same reason why they only sell "large" work-gloves at Home Depot.
goo.gl/images/SnC8Wn
This video is what you get when you look for firearms instruction from an air force member.....lol
Let me guess
You were a Marine
Man, this guy has issues. Economics be damned. I carry reliable throw away all metal pistols. If lost or stolen or tossed off a bridge, I then go home and get something else out of the safe. I don't mind carrying good quality machinery, I just have a hard time when they are stolen or if used in self defense and then disposed in an orderly manner. I might have regrets throwing my Beretta or Browning in the ocean. But my Bersa, I'll give it a good toss and drink a toast to saving my life.
Did you just say in a discoverable forum that you’d toss a gun off a bridge after using it? That is...several felonies
Brian Page bersas are hot shit meant to be sold to poor single mothers who dont know any better.
I'll be the second person and say I've owned two Bersa handguns and they both broke on me, they seem like they are made of pot metal and Toys R Us plastic, not saying Bersa doesn't make good guns but the Thunder series is just to cheaply made and high priced for the options in todays market.
Bersa 380 is a good gun man
I'm very happy with mine. I go to the range every other month, to keep me in tune with it and it has never given me a problem.
James Workman doesnt it get smoother overtime. i heard there like this when new.
I CC a gov1911. Judge me all you want, but it's all I have.
Spencer King....Nothing wrong with that, you carry what you have or most comfortable with, I have one, though I prefer my Colt Defender.
Spencer King this dude is in the air force and it is personal opinion any gun verse no gun is a better option.
With all the polymer wonders out there, there's nothing like a 1911
If anyone ever has a problem with you carrying a 1911..ask them how many Japanese fighters did the pistol they carry shoot out of the air? I can tell you that a 1911 took one down..
Not one thing wrong with CC a 1911. I do from time to time, depending on how I am dressed.
Carry what you are comfortable with, and the 1911 is one that is proven time and time again to get the job done.
I do carry a thunder plus and is good for me
Perfect gun brother really is
I carry the Thunder CC it's one of my favorite to carry and shoot
Had a thunder for 12 years. Accurate, safety moves as it should. Honestly never had an issue with it
I don’t even think grandpa Willie would conceal carry a Derringer! Lol!
Good Job, but I would never carry a handgun pointing down my private area...when I'm carrying a Concealed weapon!!!
Nobody carries a mini revolver as a primary you idiot. It's a secondary option and I sure as hell would not want to me shot with a 22 Magnum
+CBC and yet...people do.
are you trying to say " I sure as hell would not want to be shot with a 22 magnum?" because you fucked that all up... what would you want to be shot with?
akshooter762 I'd prefer to be shot by a Desert Eagle......battery powered air soft gun.
you corny as fuck...lol
Glock 43 doesn't even have a real grip.
Nobody cares about your opinion. Do you work in the gun industry? No you’re just here butthurt he called your blaster a POS and news flash he’s right.
I bet you believe that dead cops were found with brass in their pockets too.
Gun Nuts Media Fair enough
I have the Bersa Firestorm (California's version of the Thunder). It has been solid. I just don't like the 380 period because the price of 380 ammo....other than that......great gun!
Firearms instructor? Me thinks not!
And yet I get paid money both by civilians and the US government to teach people how to shoot! Worse yet, I'm pretty good at it!
They should ask for a refund then....lmao
I appreciate your honesty. I am looking at the SIG P238. Thoughts?
You look like the kind of guy who would wipe the orange juice off the floor with his sock, and then also use the sock to wipe the pee off the floor
Joke's on you, I don't drink orange juice. Sugar is bad for you.
@@MrRevolver ho man what a comeback. Thats one for the record books. Is it okay if i steal that?
Sure. You're weird.
With a flood of really bad firearms being sold for CCW... you picked out several that are nowhere near the "worst"... Better choices available, sure... but calling these the "worst" is pretty ridiculous and dishonest.
Michael Battenfield dishonest to who? If he feels that they are bad, that's just his opinion. Perhaps his honest opinion.
Very solid point Michael. I fully agree.
Interesting. Thanks for your input, 82 Luft & Michael!
Ok Michael,
If you are going to ridicule and call the judgement of a Combat Arms Instructor ridiculous and dishonest, lets see you step up with your list of guns less suitable for their stated purpose.
the worst weigh more than 21 ounces, loaded
How long did it take you to google the word "articulate"?
Did you think that would impress the same eight followers you have?
It gets easier with practice (like most firearms do).
aparently u forgot about the sig 238 and 938 guess everyone has a boner for garbage smiths
Well I didn't forget. I have a 938 and I've owned both an M&P and a Shield. Sig puts 'em both to shame.
Unfortunately you are right, I would carry a pellet pistol before I carried a Shield.
No doubt. Stupid gun.
"Dem derringers is powerful weak, powerful weak" Bart Simpson as Huck Finn
Takes him 2 minutes of babbling to finally get to the first gun.
any handgun with great stopping power is good for defense
I'm sorry your attention span is that short
Pistol Jesus has to tell us how smart he is.
Jeff Sartain 🤣😂😅
Very nice and truthfully said.
Tbh if you have someone on top of you wielding a weapon especially a knife I doubt you are going to get to your gun in your pocket or on your ankle especially having to cock it back to fire it one at a time. Might as well carry a .380 semi auto mouse gun at that point.
“This is not a serious gun for face shooting people.” Lol.
Dude. What is with the Pornstache?!?
it's a WARSTACHE! US military standard issue facial hair.
my question is what does Mrs.Giddings think?
😂😂😂😂 lmao that was hilarious
+Mossyrock6 Pretty much all my power as a Combat Arms instructor comes from the mustache.
Shave the 'Stache, lose the power. Got it.....
More Stache equals more *Operator.*
Taurus has stepped their game up. The G2C is legit
High, I'm looking at the Walther PPQ M2 45ACP. What's your opinion on this gun, thanks?
Dude the Glock 43 is really nothing special other than having the name Glock. The trigger is awful on the 43 and the recoil for a 9 sucks my cheapo Taurus pt111 has better recoil than the 43. I dumped a 500 43 for a $350 pps m2 by far the best and most comfortable gun IMO
Flipping With Sean the pps is awesome. Well the m2 version. I dont really like the original one.
Matt yeah the org is hideous lol I just wish they would keep the org mag release
Tangero agreed I have a VP9 and with the paddle mag release the pps m2 would just be the ultimate concealed carry.
bet that the naa 22 mag would put him on his ass, I put my shot right where they need to be with it. homie just needs more playtime with it.
that escalated quickly
That all sounds great and most likely it would happen that way if it was an old-fashioned drawing contest -- sounds realistic. I wonder how fast you would be drawing if you were waring board shorts and a tank top or your workout clothing. Could you even conceal your EDC what those outfits? Like most people, I prefer to tailor my EDC around my lifestyle not other way around. However, we do agree one thing, the NAA is well made firearm.
Blackbeard Breeden I have one. They break eventually. There is some serious design flaws in terms of durability.
I LOVE my Walther PK380. It was my first gun and it is perfect for concealment and it’s ergonomic design makes it PERFECT as a target - shooting gun on the range.
9 milimeter whatever this gun is,,,you lost your credibility in very first few seconds.
:rolls eyes
Really? I’d say folks that underestimate the 9mm have zero credibility. There’s a reason it’s the most issued round In militaries and police forces around the world. What’s your CCW piece chambered in before I get really ugly. Please tell me it’s .45
Pretty sure he was referring to the author appearing to not know for sure what caliber the gun was... not that 9mm is a "bad" caliber round.
Lmao!
Bottle lamp
The bersa thunder380 is actually a really good reliable firearm
Yes it is a really good gun I have 3 of them
Yeah it's not..
All I shoot is jhp out mine never an issue in the cc bersa
Your 5 worst guns, not necessarily worst 'carry' guns then. A bit misleading.
8:24 I wish the rest of the vid was just him staring angrily into the camera
Aren't those mini revolvers what wild west prostitutes used to carry?
still better than 1911
Yeah, that or a pepperbox. After all, they had to protect themselves from strangers who would use their bodies for sex. Oh wait...
ashley johansson- why? i know here are pros and cons, bu i would like to know why you think the revolver is better than a 1911. btw. im no 1911 fan boy. my point of interest is far far older than that. i build flintlocks.
I would like to say, Thank You for Serving. 🇻🇮
Thanks for your CATM service Bro.
Thanks!
Firearm selection is like purchasing a car, you buy what meets your needs and works for you. Nuff said!
Boy, i couldn't have said that any better.
++++++
Well at least we know he orgasms over the Glock 43 and he might be just a wee be opinionated. ;)
+hopecamel sorry your feelings got hurt by words.
+gun nuts media The irony in this statement is amusing. Just skimming through this comment section, you seem to react like a child to just about every bit of criticism. Sorry *your* feelings are so easily hurt by words.
The best gun in that class is the TCP? Really do some more research dude.
moriver1 Absolutely! Totally agree. Reliable and more accurate than any other .380 in its class. Would trust my life with my TCP but can't say that about a Bodyguard or an LCP. That's based off my experience with all 3 of those guns. Everyone has their own opinion though.
I "tried" to shoot the LCP but I ran out of finger ( unfortunately I just have "normal" length fingers) , what a horrid pistol.
+Robert Ray "you never PT"
I literally lol'd, where do you get your information? Fuckin' people who've never served, talking shit. Go away.
This is a terrible video and provides poor information. I couldn't finish watching this video. To make a quote he made quite often. It's Stupid.
what in the fuck are you talking about?
Grade: D
Edward Zurick but the honor defense and taurus tcp are shit thou hows that bad info?
Adrian Thomas Taurus TCP is crap cause it’s not their big seller, it’s one of their cheapest and crappest option for concealed carry guns.
These guns suck ass bro lol
You are not wrong about the NAA Mini revolver, but...with the $40 folding holster/grip it becomes MUCH easier to manage. I was given one these guns (22mag), and before the modification it was awkward to hold and painful to control recoil. Now I can see possibly carrying it as better-than-nothing option when jogging or cycling.
Bashes a Bersa carries a glock 34... dude I respect your goal but you need to get real lol
I see what you mean about the safety but I have held one and for the price they go for its really pretty good rather have one than a damn glock especially a full sized where everyone can tell...
This guy is no expert. Just a mouth with a loud opinion. Carry the gun that you can shoot safely, hit the target and feels good to carry.
I've heard the slogan run your car not your mouth but hey I'm just a car guy.
O
*Hypocrisy
King K 206 so he cant voice his opinion on his own channel? Hmmm..sounds fucking stupid doesn't it?
How can you run the gun when your gun cant function?
