My pain in high school would make it hard to breathe. It was painful now as an adult it just gets tight and cause discomfort but wish it would just be gone
Thank you sir. I have been using a hockey ball like you show for a while. But until now haven’t quite found the spot. However your tip of stretching the arm over helped open up the area. So massive thanks. 😊
Thank you. I have had this pain somewhere around my shoulder blade. It is bad that it affects my hand as it is kind of weak and also goes down to my legs. I have seen a physiotherapist who has recommended some exercises, I carried them out religiously for 3 months or more but no improvement. I went for massage, and it got worse after the muscle was massaged. Please I need help as this is really uncomfortable and painful as well
I search many exercises due to my right shoulder blade causing so much pain, it’s gone down to my arm and hand it feels extremely painful as well as neck area now. Would you consider getting an X-ray of any sort or is this simply muscle pain? Some numbing on arm and hands (tingly sensation) anyway, Thank you so so much for your videos!!
I get same down my arm and tingling. I get static pain as well my spine is cooked, my right leg longer than my left but my right hip shorter than my left have go chiropractor and acupuncturist was helping re aline my spine. Stopped going then slipped and messed my self up again. It's all spinal displacement and neck displacement . Most people get it looking down on their phones to much .
I just developed extreme pain under my left shoulder blade. I think it's a pinched nerve. I can barely look up or reach with my left arm. Isn't constant only when I move or use it. Very painful!
I've been doing the tennis ball trick for years but did not realize that I needed to had my arm in a position to help open up that area in the back. Thank you for the information I definitely will try that tonight
Same! Woke up with a knot and tried to manually massage it, didn't work. Used one of those at home massage machines, felt good and could finally move my left arm better. Woke up the next day, the knot had doubled in size and extremely sore to the point is hurts to breathe in deeply. Laying in any position hurts badly but on my side is the worst with shooting pain...help! 😢
I’m living with that pain also and I’m trying to get my doctors to understand what I’m trying to describe to them. I have a large knot and when I rub it on a corner door frame you can hear it. It so painful
I have a small bump under my skin beside shoulder blade, when it flares up its like a stinging sensation. I drive a lorry for a living so would flare up after sitting for a long period of time. Is this what a knot is? Thanks
I want to know if the tps under the scapula are still part of trapezius and rhomboids? Do we go beyond the trapezius border to get to those or is it still on the trapezius, which we have to go under the scapula to get to fully? Over a year of working on bodies and it's still confusing to me trying to figure this out.
Hey, when I move my shoulder blade it is very crunchy (both sides but one much more), shoulder blades are grinding and don’t move smoothly. Besides that my shoulder joints pop very often I mean I’m popping them, but they are more likely to pop after grinding my scapulas. What would you advise me to do? Thank you veeery much for your work, amazing video as always man👊
I have such bad knots in that exact area it pinches a nerve and or muscle, causing my right pec muscle to not contract on alot of chest exercises thus causing a size imbalance. Makes me wanna blow my 🧠s out.
Now I understand why I rub my back against doorframes like a bear.
Yes, I do the same thing myself!
Try on round smooth door knobs omg
Oh holy hell my GOD that was sore!!! I think I may have just found the cause of a lot of neck problems! THANK YOU
You are very welcome! It usually takes a week or two, but the tennis should subside. Remember, not to overdo it, good luck.
This comment truth❤
Getting my shoulder knots massaged makes me want to cry it hurts so bad! Lmao

Go to the doctor and let them diagnose you. Don't look for health advice online.

I bought some aspercream lidocainefor roll on and some muscle lotion for pain and been doing wonders.

I live with this pain I think I have a permanent knot only deep heat gives me temporary relief.
The way you are” chicken winging” your arm is how I dislocated my shoulder bc of a muscle knot there. ( dont do if ur hypermobild)
Thank you 🙏🏾
Welcome 🙏🏼
Oooh, had this yesterday, spasms so bad it hurt to breathe. Put myself into some funny positions to try and ease the pain ☹️ .
Sorry to hear that, hope the exercises help!
Thank you man I used a massage gun and works wonders
Awesome!
yes
I can feel a hard lump that makes a kind of knocking noise as the ball rolls over it. It’s so annoying I feel like ripping my shoulder off.
I have a small bump under my skin beside shoulder blade, when it flares up its like a stinging sensation. I drive a lorry for a living so would flare up after sitting for a long period of time. Is this what a knot is? Thanks
If tennis balls aren’t hard enought for you I would recommend a lacrosse ball
Yes, great suggestion thanks for sharing!
Having my partner sit on my back usually does the job enough to be able to sleep. However this is a great alternative when I'm alone :D
That's a great idea!
It’s been 7 months I have a pain

My body is muscle stiffness and pain?
Holy shit. It worked.😂😂😂
Excellent!

Try this exercise and let me know how it goes ua-cam.com/video/hhQkbd7vfqY/v-deo.htmlsi=DUcequUCxF_w472v
If a tennisball wont do, use a golf ball instead
Nice. This helped me regain a bit of my shoulder mobility and mildly reduced the pain I felt while doing an arm swing (for hitting volleyball)
Excellent!
The tennis balls keep sliding around. Maybe you have a coursee wall.
Hi i did this actually bf even i watched this video but i think i pulled too much and now have pain under scapula🙈can it be just i pulled a muscle?
I have such bad knots in that exact area it pinches a nerve and or muscle, causing my right pec muscle to not contract on alot of chest exercises thus causing a size imbalance. Makes me wanna blow my 🧠s out.
Can you please put closed caption what you were saying for deaf community? Thank you
Click the 3 dots in the top right of the screen .and then turn captions on.
Thank you for this video. Sadly i cannot pin point the pain exactly even through pressure. Maybe its behind the scapula or the scapula itself. I dunno
If you are having pain in an area, but cannot find a muscle that is tender, it could be referred pain from another area. Just a thought..
If you don't have a tennis ball just use an apple and do it while sitting on a chair and that's what I did
That works also!
I use the edge of my wall.
Perfect!
What if we don’t have a wall
Do you have a door?
