  • This Get Home vehicle is a worst-case-scenario option. Anything with wheels beats humping it on foot especially with a pack. Looks a little ridiculous but saves calories and your knees, while taking up virtually no space.

If you live in the concrete jungle like I do, this is an awesome strategy to get home. When I worked 52 miles from home I built a gas powered bike for that purpose. Only problem was the motor was loud. The scooter would be stealthy. Thanks for sharing.

I changed my car for a van and I carry a fully fuelled motocross bike in the back as my get home vehicle .
I like your scooter idea for shorter distance ,urban journeys which don't involve going across fields to avoid Gov't road blocks .

Great idea way better to use this than walking

Who would of thought to put a scooter in your car. That’s super smart!! Anything can happen and that’s small enough to fit

Thank you for this! I’ve thought of this exact same solution to my Get Home needs. I’m 50 miles out on drive but could shorten it to 40 through streets but walking that would not be fun at all.

I've been looking at the exact same thing for each vehicle, and also looking into electric scooters. I've been kicking around an electric folding bike as well. The downside is, I can't find any that can be charged from the vehicle that it's in, and that is just a recipe for a dead battery when you need it. Keep up the great work.

I like the electric bike idea. I might be upgrading the commuter soon, which means I'll have more space for alternative get home options. In-vehicle charging would be an interesting project.

I wish I had this in my car. I only have my feet to carry me home🥲

Interesting concept. I do like that it’s relatively silent. What about a helmet?

Can you please what exactly you use for the modification? I believe the Folding joint is the weakest point of the Knowped especially if you carry heavy bags on the handlebars like me over 50 lbs.

I just used Fiberfix tape, which claims to be much stronger than standard duct tape amzn.to/3J2QmtN

Great idea! Which bag do you plan to carry while you balance on that if you need to get home? If you can get home in a few hours, you want to stay lightweight!

Thanks! Check out my get home bag video. The idea is to grab the gear appropriate for the situation at hand.

    Needs off-road capability.

The idea is to just fold and carry the scooter over rough terrain. My commute home is well paved. I realize everyone has their own unique set of challenges. This suits my needs pretty well.
