I bought my first kick scooter, a Kickped, at NYCe on 58th st. and 1st ave yesterday. Rode it home, 47 blocks, with some stops to catch my breath. Great fun and excellent exercise. When I'm skillful enough, hope to have my dog lope along side me. I'm 67 years old. Go for it.

NYCeWheels Agreed but it seems a design flaw in that it affects the ride. Also the lack of adjustable bar is problematic. The Xootr you sell is a better buy even though it's not the Tank the Goped is.
Neither is "better". They each have their advantages. I have read reviews by people who have owned both who prefer one, and then reviews by people who have owned both who prefer the other.

Ugh....this thing wore me out after 2 miles. I commute 13 miles with my Xootr effortlessly. To each his own I guess.

Honestly I rode one the other day and was not that impressed. It handles sidewalk cracks well but is slow. also the bar rattles too much.
The speed is something that's sacrificed for comfort and durability, and the rattling is from the spring which keeps the folding sleeve down.

Simply put nycs scooters are not up to par you're better off buying something else they're not so tough
