- System Test videos are back! Things have finally calmed down at my place, just enough that I can make a system test video!
And yes, indeed, (for those of you who haven't watched until the end), I am moving out of my parents house, into a place I get to have all to myself! That means system test videos are going to continue there, with a full-house system!

One thing I forgot to mention, I actually got a bunch of new smoke detectors that I was going to put up, but I neglected to see that they were actually 2-wire detectors. Unfortunately my panel does not support 2-wire detectors at the moment so that had to be put on the wait list Lol
maybe you could just do what newageserveralarm did and just put relays everywhere lol

Aye he's back! Killer system as always, love the older stuff, really jealous of that 2903 light plate. Using ethernet cable for the sections of the system that can't be connected all the time is actually pretty genius, same with flashing the exit sign when in alarm. That RS though, really really weird. Never heard a strobe snap like that before haha

Thanks! I'm excited for the new house too, there's lots of opportunity awaiting! The 2903 is pretty cool, it's actually a strobe plate converted to a light plate, light plates are pretty overpriced these days xD
Also yes the RS was on its last leg and it decided to go out while I was filming, talk about the luck, oh well xD

The alarm in the garage on code 3, it sounds like a regular home smoke detector.
I was looking for someone else to say that. Yeah those mini horns are common in places like dorms and hotel rooms where you have sleeping areas, and it's good for it to sound like an alarm in a house, because it's a sound that should quickly get you up but not startle you too much.

15:00 simply fanning with a clipboard or similar implemented should be sufficient. That is all I was shown early in my career... and even now when I am doing a test if I have a stuck detector a few seconds with a hat or clipboard usually will clear it.

In one of the next system test videos, you should try to do all low frequency sounders, if you can

Yup! All the carpet upstairs was replaced, in the hallway with wood flooring, and in the bedrooms with a new white carpet.

The rs xenon tube is off. Its diagonal and its supposed too be vertical. The xenon tube isn't making proper connection causing it to pop loudly

Hey One tip with getting Smoke Saber out of your Smoke Detectors is you should try Vacuuming Out the Smoke Chambers!

My school on my school's rating that same smoke detectors Nexus 2 stereo but it ran a stage 3 and it was it had like a 10 second round sound

When I was in Middle School we had this classroom it was for special needs and it had a bathroom connected to it and one day I asked if I can use the bathroom that's out here in my classroom and my it's like can you please use the one that is in the classroom which I don't want to because I don't want the alarm to go off when I'm in the bathroom if it does come off but one of my teachers except it's okay it only has the Flushing light no sound
