- In total it took me about 8 hours of work to get this system installed/wired. Plus another 6 hours to make the board with my dad. Now that everything is done, enjoy the monthly tests! :)
Oh yeah, the majority of this video was shot in 4k. I can defiantly tell the difference, I will try and shoot my future videos in 4k as well. Enjoy the HD!

So the pull station to the left is zone 1 and the pull station to the right is zone 2 and the drill switch is zone 3 and the reset switch is zone 4 and the emergency push button is zone 5 and the smoke detector is zone 6 heat detector zone 7 the lift and pull is zone 8 pull cord zone 9 and finally duct detector zone 10 wow pretty big system!
why didn't the supervisory light on the panel turn on when you tested the nurse call?
I have a first alert fire extinguisher as well in my kitchen!

My Firelite MS-5UD has a charger fault on the display with nothing connected. I assume it’s talking about the battery charger. Is that something that can be repaired? I have heard you can disable the built in charger in the system so you can charge the system with an external charger.

Quick question. That rj45 ethernet port on the bottom right corner of the panel, is that to hook up a dialer? Or is it used for computer programming
It is for a dialer. The panel has a USB Type-B connector for programming with a computer.

My school has a simplex system with a 4100 ES panel with 4099-9006 T-bars 4098-9605 photoelectric smoke detectors and duct detectors we have heat detectors in the kitchen area and in the culinary arts room but can’t remember the model of them

Why did you not Pull the T bar that is connected to the alert strobe?
They have those Wheelock AS horn/strobes at the Lowe's here in Monroe and holy crap they're LOUD!
I have one too, that is why I removed my volume jumper in it (which turns off the horn). I only have it on with proper ear protection in a soundproof room.

I visited a store that has the wheelock as horn/stone fire alarm. Also one of my old schools has the wheelock as horn/strobe on code 3. And my current school (as of May 26 2019) has a Wheelock MT on continuous.

Two nacs are not supposed to power the same device, you could program something wrong and kill both the nacs on one device, so I suggest taking the wire out of nac 1 or nac 2, and just throw the EOLR in place of the wire, trust me, it'll help with the panel's lifespan!
Two nacs can when you have a 4 wire device. 1 nac powering all the strobes, the other powering all the horns. The one with the strobe is set to not silenceable. So then you can have it so the strobes still flash when the silence button is pressed. In this case though, I have two wire devices, so I did what you just recommended by resistoring off the end and not using the strobe circuit. But in the future I may use a 4 wire device.
In the case of a four wire device, that's a different story, but when it's a two wire device, and two nacs are hooked to said two wire device, that's a great recipe for disaster!

I was at my paps apartment and someone pulled the medical alert cord and the fire alarms went off and a loud speaker said "An emergency has been reported in the building all accupents please wait in your apartment for further instruction." Fire dept showed up and reset it then the loud speaker said "All clear All clear"
