Kind of a small load for this one, I was going to have a third MA/SS that was going to be on 2400 HZ, but I got screwed over on eBay.

The MASS horns have analog components in them which is why they sound different.

It is. Siemens bought Pyrotronics and called it the UMMT and made design changes.
I got an Amseco security alarm horn that sounds the same continuous note as the MASS in your bedroom.

Thanks for making the video. Your system is amazing for being all home made. This is just a question is there any easy way to do a extremely simple panel that just keeps the alarms running after the pull is reset? Have a good day!
Thanks for the nice words! Latching relay circuits keep the relay powered by a continuous loop, that loop is where the reset button is.

The RJ-11 cable is a good idea. Why couldn't fire alarm manufacturers design a control panel that has some RJ-11 or RJ-45 jacks on the board and have annunciators that could be hookeed up to the panel using a telephone cable or even a Catagory 3 cable. A cat 3 is designed for low speed (10 Mbps) ethernet connections as well as telephone systems.

I made a system like that on Roblox! Except i used a rare white 2903 light plate and the Multitone is replaced with UMMT Remote horns.

Why does your MA/SS in your room sound unusual?
To be honest, I'm not fully sure. Every Mass I have seems to be stuck on that tone, even if I mess with the jumpers. The ones in this video even had varying jumper settings, and they still all had the same tone (I was gonna have one of them on 2400 HZ, but it just didn't work).
FrostedStrobes huh I thought it was a setting. Maybe a board issue?? And that Siemens behind the 9838 was so unexpected :P

I have a UA-cam channel where I test video cameras. I used to do this thing called the "red tape test", where I'd point the camera at the fan and turn it on. It was sort of meant to gauge how good the camera was at picking up motion... I don't really do it anymore and I'm just too lazy to take it down :P
