I always feel so bad when the kids are the ones to find their parent/family member and they're so young. I have a little different case to this, but my dad went from perfectly fine to dead in 3 days at home, while my mum went to work and I took care of him. He completely lost all his faculties and motor skills, down to even talking. Seemed like he had yellow fever, but it was due to a dormant blood bacteria, which was 'activated' with a prescription he had started taking just 1 day before. I was 17 at the time and am 26 now. Still suffering heavily due to it. So, even though I couldn't even imagine finding any of my parents dead in my tracks, I definitely feel for him... Poor boy and the little girl as well...
I found my dad, post "suicide". I'm FURIOUS the police didn't swab his sister's hands for blood or gun powder. She later told me, in front of my best friend and blackout drunk, that she could make it look like I killed myself. We were fighting over the house. She REFUSES to move out. Shes an absolute slob and I want her out of it. She didn't realize by law that I automatically get the house. I found an attorney that believes in me and is taking on my case. At the VERY LEAST she's getting served papers that says she owes years and years worth of back rent, at 2200 USD a month. I desperately want her investigated. I believe my dad didn't want to die.
I don't know how exactly to ask, but I have a family friend whose brother was murdered around a decade ago. 11 people were charged with his murder after targeting him for being the only black person at a party. The main person that initiated the murder was accepted parole this last month, and the victim's mother (my family friend's mother) has been fighting hard to make her story known. It would mean the WORLD if you helped spread awareness over this case. If you feel up for it and want to get back to me, please let me know and I can give u more info. I'd appreciate boosts from anyone who reads this UPDATE: Not a true crime coverer, but directer Scott Budnick, YG, and John Legend all contacted the mother and are going to help spread her story. We are getting somewhere.
I highly suggest reaching out to other true crime youtubers like Kendall Rae, Georgia Marie, Joshua Miles, Gabulosis, Samantha Melanie, Danelle Hallen, Brooke Makenna, basically anyone you can. A lot of these youtubers have case suggestion websites where you can give more info on the case as a request. Gabulosis and Brooke Makenna are usually really good at doing smaller cases!

As an Italian, I am not gonna defend police here cause they mess up 7 times out of 10 probably... but really? Was that necessary? Do you live in Italy to say that? We are talking about a case that happened in the '90. If you go to the police to report a missing case nowadays maybe, MAYBE, they put some efforts even if it's not been 24+ hours from the disappearing. In the '90? Where kids were literally playing in the streets, alone and unsupervised YOU want to argue about how incompetent Italian police is? When we just heard a woman answer the phone and ask "is your mom in the background crying" after the kid told her "my mom has been murdered"? Haha, funny. Ridiculous thing to say to a child after their mother has been killed. "My mum has been murdered" 911 operator: "Is that your mum in the background?" Rip and proud of the son to stay strong over the phone. Sorry this had to happen
a lot of times kids or just panicked people will say someone was murdered when theyre just dying or badly injured. also, she had to ask who the other person was, it's protocol. emergency call operators like 911 or 999 call responders work horribly traumatizing jobs, having to listen to people brutally die sometimes daily, just because they want to help others. A lot of them have PTSD and are chastised by civilians for being too "emotionless" or "asking stupid questions" when it is their JOB. until the police arrive, the only thing they CAN do is ask EVERY question they can think of to make sure that by the time emergency services arrive, they know everything about the situation that they can. it's sickening to see uneducated people hate on emergency call responders. they are essential workers just as much as paramedics, nurses, and store clerks. seeing a comments section full of ignorant people ragging on a woman who probably loses sleep at night over the horrifying calls she's had to take every day just to save lives boils my blood.
@@EnderPanReigns I think you read into my sole comment too much. I only used one (1) adjective being "ridiculous," not sure why your "blood is boiling" over a lay man's opinion. i thought about this as well but maybe the daughter did notice as she was looking which was why she had such a bad feeling about it? as they were only children they might not have mentioned it to the police at the time but i’m not sure

It honestly hurts when I hear in any sort of case that the police straight up don't listen to the families and just assume stuff. The families know these people better than the police do. You can't just assume "oh she's just a teenager, she's probably off doing something else." I might be able to understand why that is but still. It's insane and they won't even consider anything else.
Agreed! Only give it a couple days if the person was recently throwing a tantrum threatening to run away (this used to be more common than nowadays). That girl showed ZERO intent to run away, had great behavior, specifically told someone where she was going----she was not a runaway!! How stupid of them to just trust what a suspect claimed 🤦🏼♀️
@@sunshinem.7741 That's a really good point that I honestly didn't think about but yeah. It's insane how some police departments don't even consider anything else other than the person's gender and age (referring to the fact that they assumed nothing was wrong simply because she was a teenage girl) and didn't consider what the family was saying whatsoever. Absolutely though if there had been some sign like her saying she was gonna run away then maybe I could understand it but she didn't. There was zero sign that she was planning to run away and she told people what her plans were. If she told them about her plans she would have found some way to update those plans with her family knowing they'd be concerned if she didn't come back when she said she would. This happened in what, the 90s right? May not have had a cell phone but there were payphones. If she was in fact going off with other friends she would have found a way to update her family but she didn't.

@@matthewpancini7300 If you look up the facts, the people who are getting "popped off" are the ones that are resisting arrest or trying to harm the cops in the process of getting arrested. Or who are getting harmed by other people. For example a young woman got shot to death by a police officer because she was in the process of stabbing another Black girl to death. If the Police officer had NOT shot her that OTHER Black girl would be DEAD. NO DOUBT ABOUT THIS. But no one's praising the Police officer because he was White and the girl was Black and RACISM against White people is rampant in this Country these days. And, THAT'S why they are getting harmed in the in the process of getting arrested. AND if their parents KEEP perpetuating this myth that it's the cop's fault that the kids are getting killed , they're going to KEEP GETTING SHOT. Pay attention to what's actually happening in these Black communities versus what the mainstream media is telling you and you'll learn something. The biggest threat to Black communities is the Black fathers leaving the families, (which is devastating to ANY FAMILY, as healthiest families generally consist of TWO good parents.) AND Black on Black CRIME in those communities.

Whatever is going on in your life, just remember that you and only you have the power to control where all of that emotion ends its journey. If you decide that enough is enough...all that pain, heartache, sadness, loneliness...whatever it may be will be literally passed to those who love and care about you. Sometimes life is so tough, that we can't see through the darkness. We can't feel anything but pain. But that darkness and pain is ours. If it is ours...then for the first time we can see plain as day, that we have control over it. We dictate what it does, who it hurts, who it offends when it comes out sideways in our everyday lives. Take it slow. Talk to people. Split all that rage and pain into a thousand tiny pieces and share it out to those who have enough strength to listen and take a piece away from you. It doesn't and won't, all go away in one day. If it did, then it would simply try to destroy the life of another person like it's trying with you. Step by step. One foot in front of the other. Don't think too far ahead. If a minute passes, you've won that minute...an hour passes, you've won that hour. You're the one in control here. YOU. Take care.

In the '90? Where kids were literally playing in the streets, alone and unsupervised YOU want to argue about how incompetent Italian police is? When we just heard a woman answer the phone and ask "is your mom in the background crying" after the kid told her "my mom has been murdered"? Haha, funny.

it was so disappointing. You can hear the frustration and horror and panic in the scene
a lot of times kids or just panicked people will say someone was murdered when theyre just dying or badly injured. also, she had to ask who the other person was, it's protocol. emergency call operators like 911 or 999 call responders work horribly traumatizing jobs, having to listen to people brutally die sometimes daily, just because they want to help others.
The kids didn't notice things knocked around and blood spots when they were looking for their mom before they found her in the bathroom?
They probably did but her brother thought it was normal
@@skyenby9247 why would he think it was normal? blood?
I was thinking the same way. How was all of that missed/ignored for the brother to be all nonchalant?
Didn't the bother run to his room immediately? And only the little sister was searching the house maybe she was to young to understand
@@ninafools5881 she made it sound like he didn't take note of the mess or just wasnt bothered to look for the mom. Some people are oblivious to surroundings so I assumed he didn't think twice about it and just went to his room
I have much appreciation to the brother, he’s so calm about it when he calls the police. Props to him
Its heartbreaking that he has to say "this isnt a joke" in the 999 call
It just proves that too many people call 999 to joke around like calling 999 is not a joke
And 911 if your in America at least where I live

@@cccpsovietunionisnothingbu2402 don’t say that too boldly, bad mothers are more common than good mothers. As sad as it is to say, it isn’t what mothers usually do
@@mooreox2252 I GOT to wait for my son to get off the bus today with his little sister. Most days I’m at work half a block away. So I keep an eye on the clock when it’s getting close to drop off time and wait/look forward to him walking into my work. :) then I purposely take my time to give him the house keys so I can see him for a few before he has to go home.
Imagine how different life would be if the police actually did serve or protect the public
True. It’s sad. They too invested in popping people for half an ounce of weed rather than protecting their own communities.
You mean as opposed to when they show up to domestic violence situations, and other horrific situations where people are in NEED of their help? But then I'm not surprised that you said that; hateful comments against them are so common these days it's not surprising.
The biggest threat to Black communities is the Black fathers leaving the families, (which is devastating to ANY FAMILY, as healthiest families generally consist of TWO good parents.)
AND Black on Black CRIME in those communities.

*The Menendez Brothers Case*
This case is personally one of my favourite cases and there’s so much to unpack with it. 2 Brothers (Lyle and Eric) ended up murdering their parents in their California mansion after suffering a lifetime of childhood abuse. The 2 are currently serving a life sentence with no parole yet many are petitioning and advocating for the brothers release after discovering the abuse that their parents forced them to endure. There is lots of information out there about this case yet I would love to see it compiled into 1 or 2 videos.
There’s a good series of videos by user Bad Bad Company :) but also hope Eleanor puts her own spin on it ! X
Kendall Rae had a great video on them! Plus Kendall and Eleanor are basically friends so they make the same content

This case is quite popular and Eleanor tends to cover more unnoticed cases as she says in her Q and A :)
@@555starangel_ that’s true but she has also covered lots of big cases too. The moors murders, the Yorkshire ripper, the James bulgur case etc

YOU. Take care.
