Please consider offering a kit of oetiker clamps even if sold separately. They're really expensive to buy in that size if you only need a three. Thanks.
Thank you for this video series! 1 quick question, is it okay if water was coming out of the transducer fitting AND the brew head during the hose bleeding step? Most of the water was coming out of the hose but some was also from the brew head.
looking at the schematic and docs, I see you deviated from the L and N connections. docs say to to do it at the pump but you did this at the power switch. any differences in functionality there?
I see a deviation too. I tried making sense of the wiring in the video, but it doesn't compute. The Discord group also doesn't recommend doing the L N wiring as shown in the video...
Do you sell a scale mod kit as well? I saw the gaggiuino kit on your website, but couldn't tell how the scales were integrated. Could you also show the scale install?
Look at 2:11min do you see how the temperature drops drastically at the end of the brewing process but lags behind during brewing? I think the Gaggiuino does not show live temperature during extraction.
It's at the boiler so it will overshoot to make sure new water coming im is heated quickly. Once brew is done then it no longer hears so it's just filling with more water
that's consistent with my cost. I also opted for scales. if you can get a GCP used then it's worth it. even brand new I still think it's worth it (got mine on sale brand new)
@@jamesmac6102 it actually does have PID functionality, it’s actually more aggressive. It also offers a lot more, built in dimmer, can add integrated scales

And now that the Nextion version is about to become obsolete we get to see what new cool things are going to happen with the Gaggiuino project. This is my 24-year-old Gaggiuino "Gaggia Espresso." Works GREAT! I bought the parts it needed to support the pressure release. I like your screen mounting. 🙂 ua-cam.com/video/d_aGi2L2fbs/v-deo.html
So here is a guy taking time to edit and document steps for you (at no cost or effort to you) and you have that to say? Think there are bigger problems here that someone potentially needing to drink water.
twice followed your video exactly on a GCP evo pump not turning on when i flip the brew switch (pressure always at 0.0) no pumping sound or anything if reverting back to stock pump works any advice?
@@speedyturtle9765 my issue was the fact i had an ECO board installed (eu version of the GCP Evo) the correct installation for an ECO board equipped GCP is the "custom" wiring (and removal of the eco board)
For anyone with the new Evo model, one of the pump screws is a M4 hex.
Thanks for making this! I just completed my build this morning and your video helped fill in some of the gaps that were missing in the instructions.
Cant wait to have mine done! Awesome guide, thanks!
saved for future reference...thank you so much!
Thanks! Can you share a link to the hose clamp you use.

Did I miss the part where you reconnect S5 somewhere. I’m at the end of the video and it’s still dangling like the grey stock pump wire
Same here. It says we will connect it later but I didn't see it mentioned again
@@maxlittlefield6101 I've left it unplugged and been operating a successful build since.
The official guide says that S5 is not used.
Can i use this for a 230v build?

Thank you for posting- this is extremely informative. Would this modification be possible with a Rancilio Silvia as well?

Does this improve the steaming ability at all?
Yes

I did everything, i donkt know why the boiler is not working
Did you figure this out? We are having the same issue.
Yea! You have to order a new sss
My only regret is that I wish I would have seen this before I ordered all my parts from China.
Is it just me, or does it seem like the gaggiuino is always releasing pressure?
So with all the tools required for assembling and the Gaggiuino hardware the project cost an average of $250.
