why the Heck don't we compare oneplus 5 vs iphone 7+. Same screen size, same dual lenses set-up, same body ?? Iphone7 is smaller and absolutely harder to break in a drop!
I think you would need to do more drop tests on the face to scientifically score it. The reason is when the phone is dropped it does not fall in exactly the same way.
Would be interesting to know if the OP5 was really dead, or if the display connector just popped off and reconnecting it would fix it. Also, how many drops the OP5 would have needed to break the glass.
OnePlus durability is pretty great. After a year my 3T suffers only minor scratches, and my 5T is pristine. Unlike Apple products, OnePlus phones are really easy to fix by yourself.

You really should have been comparing it to the 7 plus. The 7 has a smaller surface area and is lighter than the 7 plus, giving it a huge advantage. Since the OnePlus 5 and 7 plus have the same screen size, it's more of a fair fight.

But you need to remove front glass with all adhesive,,, Not so easy)

This is for me the most accurate drop test eliminating uneven drops among two devices in competitions....like this a lot!
