On both drops where the iphone lost the s20 bounced way more which took a lot of energy away from the glass. The iphone fell flat on both the front and back drop which caused the glass to absorb all the energy from the drop.

I once accidently threw my iPhone x down 12 steps of stairs with no case because I was swinging my phone while going downstairs and my case literally just unattached itself, and keep on mind I did not have a carpet I had literal glass tiles. I picked up my phone and was surprised to see that my phone had no cracks. I still have no cracks and still to this day.
To be fair, he uses an 6 months old iPhone 11 Pro Max drop test. It may had had an unlucky drop and that isn't 100% fair. He should have tested the iPhone 11 Pro Max vs the S20 Ultr, would make all his drop tests more reliable if he actually didn't use the same drop-test fotage all the time lol.

@@aperson3308 No but, every drop will be different. Sometimes a phone shatters after just one drop whereas the next time it doesn't shatter for many drops. So using the same old drop-test in a new video is not the best at showing its durability in my opinion.

PS: Only S20 Ultra has stainless Steel frame, the regular S20 and S20+ still has aluminum frame. This is why the S20 Ultra is very much heavyer than S20+.

@Namir Deshmukh It doesn’t matter how black the screen is, the whole reason it got to 8 was because it still functioned as a phone until round 8. Round 1 on the other hand is measuring how much damage is sustained (which was a lot in the iPhone’s case) not if it is still functioning

Glass is glass man, it's all about how you drop it and where it drops at. Pretty much every phone nowadays is pathetically breakable 🤷♂️
On both drops where the iphone lost the s20 bounced way more which took a lot of energy away from the glass. The iphone fell flat on both the front and back drop which caused the glass to absorb all the energy from the drop.

This argument doesn't hold at all, it's like, phones are phones man, yes, but some phones are better than others. Just like some glass/designs are better than others, and therefore more durable. That's a nice advantage, and is an advantage on the android side.

I once accidently threw my iPhone x down 12 steps of stairs with no case because I was swinging my phone while going downstairs and my case literally just unattached itself, and keep on mind I did not have a carpet I had literal glass tiles. I picked up my phone and was surprised to see that my phone had no cracks. I still have no cracks and still to this day.
