Thank you very much, Sir. You save me some money. This was a simple repair that anyone could do. With your professional step by step lesson. Keep sharing your talent. We all appreciate it.
Thank you, Robert. This happen to me yesterday at 7 pm, I had to leave it at the store I was at all night because I didn't know what to do, I thought I was going have to call a wrecker to bring it home or to a garage. I came home and saw this video and went back and drove it home the next morning, The part is on its way from Amazon. This saved me a ton of money. Thank you again!! Ray.
Had the exact same problem, got to work fine, when I was about to go back home put the truck in reverse to no problem then I tried putting in drive and the shifter felt loose, quick search in google suggested this video and a couple of minutes later I was driving home, saved me from having to pay a thou truck and repair, thank you very much. The video is easy to follow and makes things real easy.
Dude! You rock...pro tip on top of his pro tips...use the paint can opener to push the shift handle clip off from the dash side; pops right out, just keep your hand ready so it doesn't fall into the shifter/console housing.
Many Tanks. I used to go to the library in the 60s, consult giant hardback books, ride my bike back to the house and try and make a similar fix make sense for my cars year make/mod. All day chore. Bushing is on order but a little bailing wire, pilers and duck tape I'm good. Love UA-cam for just this sorta thing. Thanks to you for posting.
Thank you so much for your video! My truck did the same thing and voila! you hit it right on the head. Easy fix and awesome step by step how to do! Bravo
I've been trying to figure out how to change out the Shift Panel - Nissan (96940-EA600) because mine is all marred up. thank you the video is a great help.
This is great stuff, Something a Crooked Mechanic or Ripoff Dealer would charge you a couple of hundred dollars to do and then give you a song and dance on how difficult it was and how much work is involved. 🥱 🎻 Great video, Saved it to my Nissan list. Thanks for sharing 🤗
I just popped that whole black plastic box around the shift mechanism off that contains the red button with the shift pattern piece still attached. You just have to go lower to remove the clips and that entire piece of plastic will come off. It gives a lot more room to work. No extra steps.
Thank you very much, Sir.

Great video. Helped big time. Drove home as well after manually shifting.
Thank you very much Robert! This was a huge help. One note: using the tool will help prevent dropping the bushing into the netherlands.

Removing the large gear knob is the game changer. Had my small O ring pick. Came out in 2 seconds.

how did you get the cable to extend all the way to drive. Mine is stuck in the park position and I tried pulling but it doesnt want to extend.

What size is the shift bulb? I would like to get a brighter LED one
2723 I believe.
Como que llama la pieza que le pusiste al cable?
