- Phantom 85cc. The power on these are just insane. I’m scared to go full throttle because of the dirt tires so that’ll have to wait. I got about 35MPH at 3/5 throttle with the carb needle at the second slot from the bottom on 32:1, 91 from shell with a 44t sprocket.
3 days ago i was going high rpm downhill, the piston ring snapped and gouged the cylinder walls.
Ouch! Send bicycle engines a picture and they should take care of it. Did the motor lock up?
That happend to my motor 2 times!!!!
Wrong choice this motor its garbage
Very Nice Setup there now.
I get mine friday and man it sounds so deep I love it.
Man you’re gonna love this thing
Did they fix the bearing issue?
@@motorizedbicyclenation53cu90 they say they did but there was still alot of play. I have already blown it and waiting on my refund. I will wait till it is 100% fixed. But loved the motor while it was running.
Yeah lot of BS right now lots of the motors are having a lot of play in their wrist pins
@@motorizedbicyclenation53cu90 yeah with mine there was so much play the piston left it self on the head and caused a compression issues. But it is what it is. I loved the engine while it ran great. But I needed something with the get up and go and cruise around 30 so. I was going to try there zeda100 performance to see how that one handles once its back in stock.
Nice bike bro good motor choice
Good motor choice?? I'm surprised it didn't blow up in the video
What was the frame size on the v frame
Spark plug Burley clears can't wait to see possibly a review of the engine once you break it in
Dang dude this thing sounds fierce.
Thanks man. It would sound much better with a real pipe
❤
Hey James, your build looks awesome man!! Hey listen I got this kit coming monday did you see anything with your kit that I should watch out for before installing/running it? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Im not new to small engine stuff but new to bike engine stuff.
Yes I ordered 2 kits, 1 for me and one for my brother. On my kit the piston was literally backwards I was kinda pissed for $300 everything should be ready to go. Flipping the piston wasn’t hard but putting the cylinder head back on is kinda hard if you don’t have nails. I emailed them this morning so let’s see what they do
Watch out when putting the cylinder on I put my rings weird and almost hurt the motor. I took is down the street and the motor shut off and wouldn’t turn back on. Took the cylinder off and I guess I over lapped the top ring over the pin on the intake side of the piston
@@justanothermotorizedbikech5138 thanks for the heads up I really appreciate it. That sucks man, I will double check my piston before starting
I'd make sure there are no burrs and metal shavings.
The wrist pin is known for going bad in that motor check it out a bunch of people already blew up the motor already because of the wrist pin
Damn, been here. Anyways, the low. Wasn't it?!
Yup
50 cc?
@@radhakrishnanpp5566 85cc. 52mm bore x 40 stroke is 84.959cc
What bike do you have! Looks great!
I sold it the other day but it’s a conquest pacific made out of 6061 aluminum
How do you set up the carb bro!?
I get same engine but it start but i can not keep runing
@@manuramos9638 change the jets out
Why?
where to buy
Does it still run?
Hell no😆
Can I see a video of you riding it
Yes will try to post one later today
Top speed?
Like 30 then I sold it and it did like 42 ish
Top speed
I haven’t tested the top speed yet but they say about 50mph
@@justanothermotorizedbikech5138 40 max max with a 38 tooth on flat
@@Petro250 yeah I was far off
@@justanothermotorizedbikech5138 I thought it would go faster as well but so far people testing only get it to high 40s with modified sprockets and while pedaling.
@@Petro250 It needs a pipe badly
Mine ain’t sound like that
Stroke, compression, timing plays a lot this was the first gen ran like a champ for a few months
how long did it run before having to repair?
I sold it after like 3 tanks and the guy used it for doordash for a month but he would full throttle everywhere. He was using 5w-30 full synthetic
@@justanothermotorizedbikech5138 sweet looking ride. I was just asking cause the tube videos were saying g they too strong for their own good 👍. My broke ass wo t ever be able to find out for myself lol.
@@shannon6815 bushings are not the best, they will always have to be replaced. You can do it just save
@@justanothermotorizedbikech5138 I'll have to take ur word for it cause I wouldn't know. Fairly new to the hobby.
When did it blow up?
It actually never really blew up. The bushing went out, I replaced it and it just sits now
@@justanothermotorizedbikech5138 I was just making a satiric comment about how they all blow up. Odds of probability yours were was tits up also. I've never had a bushing that went bad that did not grenade the motor and that I could just replace either.
@@JamesPiccone Oh haha. I sold it to a guy that really wanted it to use it for door dash. Lasted like a month before he called me saying it’s making “loud noises” I put a new bushing but I think the cylinder and rings were too far gone but at the time they didn’t have replacement parts so he has it just sitting I haven’t talk to him
What is the bike without the motor called
Pacific conquest
6061 aluminum
@@justanothermotorizedbikech5138 can you send me a link to buy it ?
@@Demitrius_d I bought it off of OfferUp I’m pretty sure they don’t make the bikes anymore
@@justanothermotorizedbikech5138 oh ok thank you
