Another Bouncy 66/80cc Motorzied Bike Ride
This chest phone holder is toasted so my phone bounces like crazy. By next video I'll have a better one. Last video carb had 30 pilot, went down to a 27.5. For the main it was at an 80 so I went down to
75. Both are still too rich as you can tell. However after this ride I ditched the ramped piston for a windowed piston zero ramping at the top of piston.
Ported the exhaust 1.5mm to compensate for the previous piston. Dropped my intake another mm or so. Will take port numbers tomorrow morning

Way too rich but it’s safe. Has a 80main next one down I have is a 75 which ran really good with my piston port. Thought because I gave the motor 200° on intake duration it would want a bigger jet but not the case here. I have a homemade ramped piston probably where a lot of my flow is being distributed. Gonna port and change the piston for a not ramped piston
1.5mile rip, made it home in 2mins.

Took the orange china out😭😭. Bike did good beside the wall I’m still hitting at 9k and a small air leak or I have to up jet the pilot. I hope I angled the camera better for y’all pointed the chest mount all the way up. Haven’t taken any port numbers I really just ported the cylinder. I have 1 base gasket and a 1.1mm squish. Super nice ride along ny friend! The sunset ride was awesome! Now I know why your bikes all idle so nice is because Your at sea level. So much easier to tune in may opinion. 👍
@@DirectCurrent4u Thanks buddy. If you have idle problems change your crank seals out on both sides then apply some RTV gasket maker on top of the seals no one will over see it and it holds very good. A seals is behind your magneto and one behind your small bevel gear
@@justanothermotorizedbikech5138 I have done that on all my motors. That is one thing You don't see many people do or talk about But it's really important because they like to leak there if they can for sure. I like to use the brown ones seem to last muck longer then the black ones. I am at 7500 ft so jetting is always a little time consuming to get them dialed in. Thanks for the reply my friend! 👍

@@jasonburque do you know the stud spacing on the sx 65 flange? I was looking into those because they’re a bit cheaper but looked way too wide for my 66/80cc

When I do my bread or mushroom shape I open the top of the outside of the exhaust to match the flow more or round it out so to speak. Hope it runs well. Looks great.
@@rogerstafford-wakeinc.2088 you mean like a chamfer or flatten the roof more? I have it round for a longer power band but doesn’t look like it. Looks flat. Port is 32mm wide

Good job if it's a piston port if it's a Reed motor you can make that boost port 12 mm wide typically Reed motor boost ports 30% of bore diameter. 👍

@@leonardarola same vm18 but I put a reed valve and thought because I added more intake duration I would need more fuel to burn but wasn’t the case it still likes the 75 main jet piston port or reed. Or it needs more exhaust duration and a non ramped piston

Why does mine shut off when i come to a stop? How can i get mine to idle like yours?
@@j12torts what carburetor are you running? if sitting on bike, on the left side of the carb should be a screw, turn it clockwise for more idle and counter clockwise for low idle.
