Don’t use acetone. It will eat up the clear coat and eventually the paint . Same thing for the plastic, it will sort of melt a layer off if you scrub to hard.

Acetone also melts plastic....he needs goo gone and that's it!!

I like goo gone. It does take some elbow grease,but is safer to use than acetone
