I've the coupe with a faulty switch but it looks like they made it one big sealed unit because its so brilliant it'll never go faulty.

I have a Fiat Panda Pop base model if I want to open my boot or doors I have to put the key in the lock and turn..... I oil all the locks once a month and have had no issues to date
Keeping them clean and oiled is the key to success,… literally
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos they get blown out with a can of computer keyboard cleaner then oiled once a month smooth as silk 👍
Its gonna be good. Heyco make those pliers ,,, they also make pliers that fit the cable glands on the back of everything you need to change the mains lead on , the fittings that you just cant get off and you end up with a screwdriver in your finger messing about with ,,,, I bought a pair for a tenner , Ill never ever use them now I have them ,,, but I just thought I would mention it as a side note.

My number plate lights wouldn’t work - I tapped into the earth (negative) connection at the rear light to the earth wires to the number plate.
Yes. Sounds like you had a poor earth. Sometimes the easiest way to sort it is to just provide another earth.
Hey, i have the same problem, My trunk button works , but license plate lights are not working. ,So all I should do, if I don't wanna follow the faulty cable, is just get power from the rear light(yellow cable) and connect it to the middle cable of trunk handle ?
Yea wiring them to the rear position lamps should work fine, but your bulb fault indicator might not work if one of your tail lights fail
