I dated a guy for a month but in the end he was ambivalent about me. It did trigger anxiety in me… a lot. But I still walked away. He wanted me to stay around as a friend and “see what develops.” I’m hoping this means I’m leaning toward secure even though the anxiety was triggered. But the thing is… I’m not going to stay with someone hoping they will eventually choose me.
