Does it have a brake in period heard a lot of ppl saying the gen five is ammo picky n jams a lot really looking into getting one
@@big_glock. Mine didn’t but I tested it with over 1000 rounds now and never had a hiccup.

That’s awesome! Definitely a cool goal I’ve never thought of. It was fun to shoot and easy to grip unlike I imagined it would be.

I killed a deer with my Glock 21 Gen 3 with irons. I’ve recently traded that gun in and upgraded to a Glock 21 Gen 5. I will have a Holosun 507c optic with Truglo tritium pro night sights (Green Tritium w/White Outline Front Green Rear Black). My holster is from Muddy River Tactical and I’m curious how their holsters perform.

Since it was light bearing, we were running a blackhawk light bearing holster. If you aren’t running a light there’s a wide variety of holsters Leather, Kydex, nylon etc…

As far as 10mm and 45acp go, I'll stick with my XDMs. My hands do not like the "large" frame Glocks. Not even the short frame "fits". My XDM 45 is far more accurate in my hands than my 21C was. Now, my Glock 19 is another story. Fits perfect.
I love the grip on an XDM for myself as well. It’s a solid gun and my everyday carry in most places.

Same experience. I got glock 20 and xdm elite 10mm, Xdm elite is much better but I do like the glock 19 17 much more reliable and accurate in my hands then the 20.
The G20 gen5 comes with a slim frame. It fits in my hands just as good as my G19x does. I'm the same tho, the G19 grip fits the best

On a side not, Mountain lions are easily taken with 9mm or .38spl. They are very thin skinned animals and a 10mm is overkill for a mountain Lion.

I'll wait until the next gen come out, because Chuke proved that it chokes on certain ammo. He ran a lot through it and it kept jamming on hunting ammo. I'll stick with the Gen 4 for now.

Chuke and his friend already took apart the gun, oiled it up good, and now it feeds the heavy stuff no problem and everything else.
Hey good video. I own the the Glock 40. Same as your gun, just a 6 inch barrel instead of the 4.61 inch. If you do plan on taking that hunting, you're going to want some Underwood ammunition. I have a 200 grain hardcast lead going 1250 feet per second. I also have 165 grain, flat nose full metal jacket going 1400 ft per sec. Those are the best of the best. Also if you want to get an extra 50 ft per second added onto all of your velocity's, swap out the barrel with an aftermarket thats an inch longer. Looks kind of weird, but very effective. Those loads, are the exact equivalent energy wise, to the most powerful 357 Magnum loads. A semi automatic 357 Magnum pistol with 16 rounds. EPIC!
