    Understanding Self-Esteem
    Firstthings first-what exactly is self-esteem? Self-esteem is essentially how weperceive our own worth. It encompasses our beliefs about ourselves, as well asthe emotional responses we have to those beliefs. When we have healthyself-esteem, we feel good about ourselves, acknowledge our strengths, andaccept our imperfections. It's important to note that self-esteem isn't aboutbeing perfect; it's about having a balanced and realistic view of who we are.
    Where can you draw self-esteem from? Looking in your past? What are your origins? If you go far back, you will realize that we all came from the same source from the same Maker. I can tell you that He did not play any favoritism, He created us all equal, and endowed with the same rights that no one has the right to take away from us: the right to live, the right to be free and the right to pursue our hearts desires as long as it does not infringe upon other people rights. He gave us minds and bodies to use, protect and benefit from. Those who understand this will live life like royalties. Those who don’t tend to look down on themselves, accepting mediocrity as their destiny.
    Understand that nobody, and I mean nobody, is better than you. People might be richer, healthier than you, but not more important than you in the eyes of God. If you do not love yourself, that is to say if you live with low self-esteem, lucking self-acceptance and self-love, you are teaching the world how to treat you and believe me you might not be happy with what they will do. You should be your number one fan. Have confidence in and respect yourself. However, do not make the mistake of looking for those components of self-esteem, outside yourself, because you will not find them, no one can give them to you, it is an inside job.
    The Importance of Self-Esteem
    So, why is self-esteem so crucial? Well, self-esteem affects almost every aspect of our lives. It influences our relationships, our decision-making process, our emotional health, and even our physical health. People with high self-esteem are generally more resilient, able to handle stress better, and are more likely to take on challenges and pursue their goals. On the flip side, low self-esteem can lead to anxiety, depression, and a host of other mental health issues. It can hold us back from living our lives to the fullest. [....]
