Cool name! Looks very nice nymph.
Caught 5 Rainbows ranging from 2-4 lbs on your fly yesterday on the Waioeka River down under in NZ. Thanks for the inspiration.
That's awesome! I wish I could have been there to see it :)
Congrats on getting the fly featured! That's awesome! I'll bookmark this and tie some up for testing, thank you for sharing.
Let me know how it works for you
very nice looking fly. quite the imagination when building this.
Thanks!
This name alone makes me want to tie some up. I got the reference instantly lol. Congrats on getting it into the catalog
Haha nice :) thanks
Nice tying and looks to be a catcher. I will give it a whirl down-under in NZ on my next trip. Thanks.
Be sure to let me know how it works :)
Congrats 👏 awesome pattern can't wait to try see how it does here in Michigan
Be sure to let me know how it works for you :)
Like the fly. May be a bit bulky if you intend to the the fly deep and get it there fast. Really liked your idea of the loop to end up with front legs. I will fish it this year.
I think you will be surprised by how fast it does get down. Let me know how it works for you!
I think I found one of these on the bottom of a productive bucket at WR campground on Wednesday.
Nice :)
Nice job fly looks great
awesome
Great fly and congrats on you getting it in with Umpqua
Thanks!
Awesome, great pattern!
Thank you!
Awesome fly. Great video mate!
Hey thanks
Looks great
Thanks :)
Nice fly, congratulations👍
Thank you
Nice pattern. I'm tying up some today for a trip later this week. Although it's going to get cold, I just got a project close to fishing waters so will give it a try and hopefully ice on the guides won't be too big of an issue.
Yeah it is super cold out there currently. I hope the ice isn’t too bad for you :)
Congratulations on your first Umpqua signature pattern! I just tried the first one, looking forward to catching fish with you in a couple weeks.
Thanks Jim! See you soon
Congratulations!
I agree that peacock has magic fish catching properties. I'm thinking that you may have to start using Umpqua tying tools exclusively now.🤣
Haha you may be right
@@FlyingTies In my opinion it's time for Umpqua to send you a nice big care package.
God I hate tying with peacock herl cause it's so brittle but that's a good looking fly so I will force myself to tie some lol good job!
haha it's not so bad if you go slow
Congrats on getting picked up by Umpqua!
Thanks!
Good for you! That’s exciting. For just being an expensive hobby 🙃
:)
In Oz we call it a generalist pattern
Nice, I like that
Iit just so happens I bought some amber wire today for a different fly pattern. I'll tie some up tonight for tomorrows trip. I'm curious to see how it does. Congrats on getting into the Umpqua catalog.
Nice!
@@FlyingTies Definately going to keep a row of these in my box. 60% of my fish today where caught on your fly. It's a winner!
@@timkern177 awesome 🎉
Thanks for sharing the pattern. Love the videos. How’d you get picked up by Umpqua? Submitting prototypes or something else?
Thank you! You can find all the info on Umpqua website about how to submit patterns
That fly looks great Zach. Congrats on getting it in the Umpqua catalog. How long have you been fishing it?
Thanks :) I started fishing as a child
Zach, my fishing buddy and I are heading out to fish the Cimarron River and the Conejos River... both new to me. Southwestern colorado and northwestern NM. These are going with me! Recomendtions?
Wicked bug!
Thanks 🙏🏻
AWESOME!!! congrats man. story behind the name ?
I’ll leave that up to the imagination :)
Looks great - I will be tying some up. Is there going to be a whole series of Prince derivatives like the Bizarro Kramer or Bizarro George?
Haha, this is the one and only :)
Zach say you don’t have amber wire could you tie with another color of wire and what would the color be you think? and congrats on getting with Umpqua!
Hey thanks, you could use copper or gold also. I try to match my wire to the bead color for the most part
Killer pattern. I will grab a few at the shop. But they will not be fish Eurostyle. I will fish them AmeriStyle.
Haha nice :)
I trashed two attempts doing the last step and broke the legs off on both attempts.I just gave up by by
Ok
