Listen to when he says with his best tracks the idea flows out quickly. I have found it myself...my best tracks I have done came out within about a four hour session in the studio. So important to new producers not to try to milk an idea...you may think it has potential but more often than not you'll hit a brick wall. Don't get disheartened...your best tracks will come out naturally.
Hey mate! I very often find myself at a dead end as i constantly feel there is something more i could do to make the track better, but at that moment it just doesn't click. I usually start a new project when I'm at that point but another pretty bold step would be to rework your project with very few elements of the original or just simply add new samples/vocals and pretty much treat it as a remix. It might sound weird at first but I eventually end up deleting most of the original work and I'm left with a solid new idea.
I am just starting to get into creating electronic music and this is really helpful. I really do love how your mind perceives music and it's amazing to learn from you as an expert in your individuality in music.
man ive been playing around making beats for a couple years now i started off following certain hiphop artists and araab muzik was one of them i didnt relize he was an inspiration to you too! loving these vids keep em coming!!
Why all the structure music is in audio only ? Is it not better to use midi stuff for drum, synth... ? Maybe it's for the video but if someone can answer to me, that would be great :)
When you select your sample in Ableton there will be a sample box you can work with, in this box there is a transpose knob, twist it up or down to change the pitch of your sample.
Yo guys help me out, how does flume get that pitch modulation where it only goes about 1 semitone out of pitch then lfo's back in, I don't know how he does it? what lfo thing does he use, how does he get it so tight?
Does he freeze his track tracks or what ? I don't see much midi layers etc. Or is he just straight sample after sample no vst's etc just cutting and pasting ? It can be looked down on by other producers if he is mostly cutting and pasting but if he is its working well !
So true man I he has music training but there must be another way on how he chooses his samples and layering synth , like the ideas, this n his what so not project music just flows so good
pretty much he has exported each separate group into an MP3/Wav file. Eg. All drums in one, all leads in another, all basslines in another and so on. It's just so it's cleaner to look at. His actual projects would probably be mental ahahha
look at you. making fun of someone with more skills than you because of their age. will you ever make something this good? probably not. really sad to be honest

U R A FKN GENIUS SON
thanks again Flume
I LOVE INSANE>
so flume was inspired by arabmusic
Seems like so
Well for Insane...
At one point he had a song by ArabMusic in his "flume essentials playlist" on Spotify.
Listen to “Hi This Is Playlist” for his influences. Also the araabmuzik song was ‘Wanted’
i'm not 100% sure but I think the main synth he uses is Native Instruments' Massive, because I know the main synth lead in Ezra is a Massive preset.
I just found an interview saying its sylenth, so could be both.
What preset is it on Massive?
***** Elevator, except he has added some reverb to it
Empiamusic because creating the same sound in another synth is impossible, right
+Mike Martin you got that interview ? pass me please
the most beautiful hands i've ever seen
LMAO
i would die for the star eyes stems
he's so perfect
So gorgeous 😍
I agreee 😻😻
Good audio. What were the loudness metrics on this?
Muito bom

What synths do you use?
How does it work sampling all those people? Do you have to pay Royalaties?
Genius

0:20 A rob? What did he say?
Need some advice/tips on how to re-pitch vocals like you do!
When you select your sample in Ableton there will be a sample box you can work with, in this box there is a transpose knob, twist it up or down to change the pitch of your sample.

What program that he use for make a beat??
See guys you don't need 89 channels to make bangers
damn where do I get those happy hardcore vocal stems lol
Does he freeze his track tracks or what ? I don't see much midi layers etc. Or is he just straight sample after sample no vst's etc just cutting and pasting ? It can be looked down on by other producers if he is mostly cutting and pasting but if he is its working well !
Its been bounced down to the 5 groups
looked down on???? lol he's killin it right now
Off course its looked down on if he's straight up using loops and samples. Doesn't matter now, he's just bounced them down.
shweetbeat Techno/House/Hip Hop was and still is largely built on loops and samples.
You can't be looked down on when you're at the top bro
What song is playing during the credits?
Where is a good place to get samples??
Splice sounds mannnnnn
a your grandma makes best sound samples
hey i'll do my own studio, what devices would you recommend me ?
what kind of studio
+Jack B dude something basic, to star
What kind of music?
ELECTRONIC MUSIC, LIKE RATATAT, FLUME AND AOKI
+JAVIER BUITRAGO A nice Midi keyboard would be good... Notation Launchley Mini is great and cheap... I have it
What DAW is he using!
Ableton: Live 9
Anyone know what synths he uses?
Sylenth1, NI Massive, and i think Synth1 but i'm not sur for the last
casio calculator
Ableton sampler
wouldnt be suprised if hes holding some of his tricks/ways back for himself
So true man I he has music training but there must be another way on how he chooses his samples and layering synth , like the ideas, this n his what so not project music just flows so good
this cutie 💞
that is sick broooo skrillex is koomps no more bangarang out my vn commodore on top is the new tune for out the vn yeahhh bro siiiick ^_^
Yearrhh he like AraabMuzik!!!!
❤️❤️❤️🇪🇨
my nigga
4 videos - nothing told. Showing music on prepared stems.
wow his abletons projects looks so basic?
They're remix packs, or performance sessions. Lots of grouping to make it easier to work with after the track is already finished
pretty much he has exported each separate group into an MP3/Wav file. Eg. All drums in one, all leads in another, all basslines in another and so on. It's just so it's cleaner to look at. His actual projects would probably be mental ahahha
or not, creativity also lies within simplicity, less is more
well if he's managed to make 7 different sounds inside 1 synth then that's incredible and fuck my music career
Not so much with electronic music production. (90% of what you hear, you aren't even aware of.)
it annoys me that it's all consolidated. unless it's all just rendered to audio
How old is he? I´d like to marry him but he seems too young to be able to get married :(
I think he's 22?
That´d mean Im older... naaah, doesnt really matter to me, still want him :P
+Sharis1611 everyone wants him.
