Why is this one of the best Rhythm Roulettes. Clearly a producer with passion and talent! Not to say the others don't have it, but this dude is amazing!!!
Thats not what the shows about. Theres a million in depth tutorials on sound design and sample flipping but this show is about showcasing an artists workflow and work enviroment. Thats what makes it so inspiring, you peak into the daily life of a pro
In all actuality, the beatmaking process all the way through can be quite boring. The way they edit makes it still interesting. If you say through every sample chop and instrument selection, you would lose your mind
I think in general the Pro's probably intentionally don't Sound Design during the creative process...I would guess they'd do that way ahead of time so they can just free flow create that much faster
You guys did him dirty on this episode, barely any production was shown. The beat was coming together nicely but whats the point if youre not going to play it?
the people calling this trash are the same people who can't accept creative license and don't understand work flow... this was done in a few hours and he created the skeleton for a good vibe, it's almost impossible to expect something that rings well in your ear quickly because of the approach that he uses, and why did i bother to even write this comment lol
The hint is where he says ”you’ve gotta be a bit tasteful, then take it away from people” this guy is a genius wouldn’t be surprised if he’s dropping the track on his next release
I appreciate him creating something outside of my expectations. Extraordinary! I'd go to his show. The rest can keep going to the same ol' same ol', if that's what works for them. Tried and true is a safe bet. This producer is obviously an explorer. Risk goes with the territory.
I enjoyed this one quite a bit. Everybody seems so focused on making a banging beat or something soulful and that's cool, but say this ambient reggae wavy track wasn't a breath of fresh air. Percussion was on point too. Just makes your hips move by themselves lol
UK/European Live users tend to use the Arrangement view a lot more by placing audio samples directly in there and adjusting them manually. I've never though to work that way, I prefer audio clips in Session view and then record the launching and stopping/muting of clips to create my sequence in the Arrangement view. Just an observation.
ive never seen anyone flip a sample so creatively dude is on a really really high level
yo its gami
yooo hello gami

Terence Elam Majority of the comments is nothing but hate man
I really wish these videos showed more of their actuall processing and sound design rather than just filming the artist. mura masa is a master though
guess thats totally upto the beatmaker, not the people in charge of this series..

100% agree. that is why Bwana's episode was the best.

NeonWorlds Yup. These last few RR have all been under 10 mins. I don’t know why they changed it up.

Mass Appeal
is trolliing
pepperidge farm remembers
That WAS the whole song at the end! LOL
loved the creative process and few ideas from how he did some stuff but i didn't like the tracks final sound
It wasn't worth their time
This was the best rhythm roulette so far so unique
Mass Appeal didn't even give us a good snippet of the song. I still don't know if it was good or not.
Yeah, very confusing. That part he played when the beat came in sounded good but at the end they only played the intro, like wtf
they cut it just as it was about to drop like tf
Thank you. Can they actually let a good portion of the beat play for once smh
If you can't tell if it's good or not just by hearing the process of him making most of it,, it wasn't good then.
wait...you were being facetious werent you lol
Fire whoever edited this video. We got more of his style from the intro. They didnt even let the beat play at the end!

thanks bruh!
KAYTRA
please one Rhythm Roulette with kaytra
This is really cool. Not the usual soul-based hip hop. A deeper darker approach to sampling. I welcome the change.
Anyone catch the Frank Ocean blond T shirt he has on ?
Nor'Ledges damn, where do they sell them?
The hint is where he says ”you’ve gotta be a bit tasteful, then take it away from people” this guy is a genius wouldn’t be surprised if he’s dropping the track on his next release
Hands up if your still waitin for the drop...
jnesta lmao
2 years kater - I still am!!!
TO DIS DAY
I need this beat in my life 😭
i think this beat is pretty lit and unique
I appreciate him creating something outside of my expectations. Extraordinary!
I'd go to his show. The rest can keep going to the same ol' same ol', if that's what works for them.
Tried and true is a safe bet. This producer is obviously an explorer. Risk goes with the territory.
The best rythm roulette yet.

wasn't expecting this one; mura masa is majooor wavy
Lower case W but how they gonna end the video before the drop? lol Where's the whole track?
You do know you still made the 'W' capital right?

"It's bout to get NAOTEE in here" I died
Wow. Dude dug up some old school jungle. That's just cool no matter if you can use it or not. Jungle heads never want to part with their OG wax.
Magnificent. So technical and cohesive. Reminds me a bit of jack steadman. My absolute favorite RR
2:58 That tape stop effect. I keep tryn figure out how he did it like that there

Wheres da Drop
Well that was a surprise. My voice jumped out as one of the vocal samples near the end
Finally another goat
I just watched Mura Masa sit at his computer. Face the camera towards the screen more next time. Although the final beat is very nice.
S. M. Salem cant give the sauce lol
The 3 seconds where he brought the keyboard in , Fire!!
3:02 got me like "oh wait is this lovesick? oh nvm"
Great Job!
@3:24 Mura is doing his bass, it seems like he is usin an ableton stock plugin any ideas?
