It's alright Stanger about the Screen you did a Great Job 👍 with Explaining how to Navigate it, It Offers a Helluva lot for $80 and I Agree 👍 The Shimmer was always one of my favorites to because you can add to it and make some wicked music, 8K getting to 10K and Beyond Brother btw some of those riffs DAMN very WICKED.
I said the same thing the other day. I had no idea this was even a thing until Dave teased his video. Never saw it on Amazon. I haven’t seen a video elsewhere. I’d say Dave wins at being first to the review this time!
Seems like a nice pedal for $80 bucks. Was a little concerned with that fizzle when you started making your own tones, but it got much better after you realized you didn’t select a cab, lol. Whoops! Anyway, I’m really glad you showed this. Are the tones amazing? No. You can’t expect that for $80. But are they usable tones? Definitely! The form factor is much better than all those buttons on the purple Tank G LJ pedal everyone was showing a few months back. Great vid! And congrats on 8k again! 🥳🥳🥳
@Dave6SS On top of a great sound! Which is the most important part to me! I'll figure it out one way or the other, but the sound it puts out is mind blowing!
Sounds good looks like it is easy to operate.. Great review Killer Sound... My wife & I both have the Donner Arena 2000 multi effects pedals. IMO the blue tooth works great for on stage where you have a phone or tablet holder on a mic stand & can run thru your pre sets, So each song has different effects just click the next one on the touch screen, without reaching down. Or it can be controlled by a sound engineer with a tablet or laptop PC off stage. I just read an article in Guitar World Magazine about T Iommi from Black Sabbath he was talking about using his Kemper multi effects pedal all the sims. So almost 60 years into playing & still trying new ideas. Great article BTW. This should do well. great for someone getting into guitar effects. Far cheaper than buying a ton of pedals. Plus it make traveling to a gig easy use their speakers & just run your cab & amp sims... Cheers 🍻🥃🥃😎🎸🎼🎵🎶🎶🎶
You have the only review i could find on youtube. Bought one from your review. Its a fun pedal. Not bad tones. If on a budget, not a bad starting point.
@Dave6SS it was. I have some Hotone and Valetone products. All offer unique sounds. Sux you cant buy a 1 in all. The shimmer sold me. Norhing like it in the previous mentioned. Thank you for spotlighting this product
Hey Stang! Man that thing is pretty cool. Some usable and pretty cool sounds in that little box. And yeah - that shimmer effect in the middle posish.... is amazing sounding. I dig it ! Hope all is well Bro.
Man! For 80$ multi-fx have come a long way. Ive been playing for 27 years. I can tell you that these are getter better and better for cheaper and cheaper. I could probably run that FOH and get er done. Might look into getting this as a back up for my hx stomp. To throw in a bag.
That is an interesting pedal/modeler. Not really my thing, but it would be good to have as a backup at a gig. The shimmer reverb is awesome sounding. Also, congrats on 8K! Silverbox Rawk!
Stanger at the price point ya really can’t go wrong even if ya don’t like it better spending 80$ then hundreds, win win as I see it Leo jaymz is becoming a very well known name for there products and for being best bang for buck, great review stanger keep the vids coming !
Bought a. Flamma or something like that name before this came out paid about the same price and it has a rocker pedal for wah and volume and a tuner. This one looks good too. Got the new Leo jaymz deluxe hurricane and it's a sweet guitar, locking tuners, strap locks, SS frets.
Seen this on the Amazons, thought about buying it to see what it was all about….but then I looked at my bank account. Did you know those things go in the negative?😂 Very thorough review, seems like your staff is getting better helping you out😎🤙
It's cheaper than the cost of parts - there's a DSP pedal kit called Hothouse (not affiliated) that's 89 USD, and while you get all the parts you also have to build it. There's an upcharge for soldering. 😀
Maybe it’s just me and my old eyes talking, but that little screen seems like it would be hard to read all the way down on the floor when standing up playing
You can run it thru bluetooth I believe on your phone or tablet So it could be mounted to a Mic stand & much easier to access... My wife & have Donner Arena 2000 & use the bluetooth feature.. Yeah 60 here & yeah need glasses...
I have never tried a Katana. Doesn't it have all the same built in effects as this pedal? This pedal sounds so much like my very old Line6 Spider III 75W I picked up for $50. It is good enough for practice, but I wouldn't record anything with it. Plugins sound so much better. There is this unnatural fizz with these modelers. I think the newer technology has more control over the fizz. This pedal to my ears sounds like very old technology. I was just curious about this pedal and now I am satisfied.
I was amazed at how much the cab setting mattered - must be designed to usually have cab setting switched in. I presume you just run this unit into an amp's clean setting and let its digi magic do the work?
Couldn't get the Screen from the Unit to come thru the video properly..it was very bright..My apologies..ENJOY!!

@robertvance1873 Thanks for the kind words Bro 🍻😎
@@Dave6SS I appreciate your style you have a cool way of doing things Brother.
I think you are the only one in the world with a video on this model.
Ha ha that was the plan 😎🍻
I said the same thing the other day. I had no idea this was even a thing until Dave teased his video. Never saw it on Amazon. I haven’t seen a video elsewhere. I’d say Dave wins at being first to the review this time!
We already have that here in Philippines or most Asian neighborhood. They will release next year their mvave mk300.
Just a rebranded chinese pedal that you can buy cheaper from other places

Yeah the fizzle was a funny moment, it would have made since to pick a cab after the amp..I was just going down the line of buttons and forgot 🤣🤣
I like the fact that you speak to the viewer rather than preach....thanks, Dave for making it real!
Anytime..Thanks for that 😎
Love your Vids Man!! Thank you for sharing!!
Appreciate you man 🤘
I'm getting this! Sounds great and much more simple than having to waste all my time with the whole plugin thing.
Very easy to use 😎
@Dave6SS On top of a great sound! Which is the most important part to me! I'll figure it out one way or the other, but the sound it puts out is mind blowing!
Been waitin' for this review

Cool little modeler for a cool price always a win
Totally agree, for the price you can't beat it 😎
I have this pedal and also the Tank G
I agree with Dave totally. Btw the app is the same for both units 😎🤟🏼

Yeah, the shimmer is cool! And Thanks Bro 🍻
Yeah, that shimmer reverb is a great effect.

Nice Got the 3gen Monsoon coming up on the Channel very soon 😎🤘
Thanks for the vid Dave! 😁🤘🎸
Welcome 😊🤘
Thanks Stanger. Got one otw
Hell Yeah Man
That’s a killer deal for all of those features \m/
Dude! I want that shirt!! Where may I acquire one, that would perfectly fit me.
Seen this on the Amazons, thought about buying it to see what it was all about….but then I looked at my bank account. Did you know those things go in the negative?😂 Very thorough review, seems like your staff is getting better helping you out😎🤙
Pretty Cool for the price..and never count on my staff..they are ok 1 day and holy Hell the next 🤣🤣
Great lil unit for 80$ cool video sir!
Yes it is..Thanks For Watching Bro 🍻

That's a good point - you're getting a lot for your money.
For $80 that’s a great deal, good video 🎸💪🏻🖖🏻😎✌🏻👍🏻👍🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thanks Bro 👍
they all sound sorta the same with different EQ settings so forth... there must be presets with modulation and fuzz so forth, driven?
Ok im selling my pedals and getting this lol really good tones
Maybe it’s just me and my old eyes talking, but that little screen seems like it would be hard to read all the way down on the floor when standing up playing
Yeah it is small..I would say it's more of a table top unit for this Old Guy as well 😂😂
You can run it thru bluetooth I believe on your phone or tablet So it could be mounted to a Mic stand & much easier to access... My wife & have Donner Arena 2000 & use the bluetooth feature.. Yeah 60 here & yeah need glasses...
Hell, for $80 you cant go wrong! Be a nice addition to my Katana! 🤔🤘🎸
It really is a great addition to any rig! 😎🤘 And it's a stand alone unit as well
I have never tried a Katana. Doesn't it have all the same built in effects as this pedal? This pedal sounds so much like my very old Line6 Spider III 75W I picked up for $50. @@thomastucker5686 the Katana has some of the effects, mod, delay and reverb.
When you said “duck” for your reverb, I was expecting something thrown at your head and you would have ducked…
🤣🤣 That would have been Awesome
I dont need this if I have a Tone X, right?
Tonex does way more stuff.. But this is pretty cool and simple to use for the price
Well, ok then! 🤨🤘😉
Don’t use the IR Cab when playing into an amp 😎
Good point 😎
Some of those tones were OK. Modeling has come along way, especially in an $80.00 box. Thanks and keep the vids rolling.
Yeah, you're right it's getting pretty good for the price 😎🤘
i think those are all captures and not models
You can't power it with a 9 volt power supply so it's a pass for me.
It comes with a power supply to charge and you can also use the device while it charges..It runs for 10 hours on a single charge
Let’s see. Metal tones where you can‘t really tell what’s going on. How about some clean tones?
Ok pedal making peeps. Im 55yo. What happened to plug and play. Dear god im confused now
I feel ya man..im 51 but this is 1 of the easier ones to work with
The unit sounds CHEAP.....more like a $20
Until you put on the cab it sounded pretty bad, lol. Now not so much.
Facts..Thanks for Watching Bro
I was amazed at how much the cab setting mattered - must be designed to usually have cab setting switched in. I presume you just run this unit into an amp's clean setting and let its digi magic do the work?
It sounds like 30 year old technology. Not very musical in my opinion. If it was all I had, I could make it work.
Sounds crappy not you that cheap device
Lol I have had worse
