Six String, I done a diy Fesley, tele type for my daughter. I couldn't believe how great it turned out. I painted it Red Metallic and I used everything they sent. This thing had the best sound. It had that Steele guitar sound and twangy. Everybody loves it. Talk about a great country guitar. The best thing was it even shreds. Only thing I don't like was the tuners. Going to put guyker locking tuners on it. Keep up the great bids. Rock it!
Good choice with guyker. I didn't a few reviews on my channel of them. And eddaray guitar tuner are pretty good about 10 bucks cheaper than guyker. There on my channel to of the 7V jem un-boxing I did. Good stuff.
Davarino! The Stanginator!! Hey Brother. Really cool vid. Love this. I want this kit, bad. I wanted it after I saw your first vid. I gotta pick me up one of these babies! I think it looks really, really good. For some weird reason, I esp love the way the back and sides of the guitar look. Kind of an aged, pitted sort of thing, or something. I don't know. But it looks killer. The top seems nice too. Sounds great. Love it !
Wow GREAT video ! Good kit to learn to build and the final product sounds really cool too . Nice job six! Gotta get one the experience is well worth it for any guitarist 🤙🏾🎸
Nice job - giving me inspiration to get myself a kit to try. I'd love to do a semi-hollow, but I don't think I have the patience for doing wiring through the f-holes. On that note, I'm pretty sure that whoever named guitar parts knew exactly what they were doing (f-holes, nuts, etc...)
Turned out real nice and I like the natural finish! It also looks like it has maybe jumbo or mediun jumbo frets? And how much was the total weight? The mohogany is going to make it considerably heavier than the FLP350 (due to its poplar body). And does Fesley even sell that particular model completed? I havent yet seen a Fesley LP copy besides the FLP350. 🤔
Damn this was a long assed video lol! Ill bet it was fun to build,it sounded amazing! Ordering the jackson js22 in metallic blue tomorrow along w 2 sets of my diehard ghs boomers 9 42,I'll use that gauge for a bit because you don't know how long they sat in the warehouse at amazon then ill toss on a set of 10 46,can't wait! Since i started playing guitar i wanted a jackson
You want to strip some of the chrome finish off the bridge mount for the ground wire, also, to guarantee good connection. The chrome can hinder conductivity.
Looks like a fairly easy kit. Probably should have things labeled a little better for the novice guitar builder. Most people that have been playing a while can figure out the details. DYI Rawk!
I use eye hooks instead of strap buttons I attach repelling clamps to straps run them through eye hooks adjust strap than you have the truest locking system that will never drop you're axe unless someone cuts you're strap
I know what you mean. The only guitar kit I know that numbers I know of is Leo Jaymz. Remember that guitar kit I said that I probably wouldn't unbox? I un boxed it. The thing that was a real kicker was leo gives you 14' 7" of copper foil conducive anti electro wave adhesive tape ( Shielding tape) there pretty good kits I did the un-boxing video the other day on my Chanel. I almost typed Charvell good guitar. I'm getting off track what was I saying, O. Good job on your kit you know that you're going to catch a bunch of shit in the comments because you didn't paint it. You don't have to worry about people getting mad at you for not painting it. Let the limptards get mad. To stain it you got to sand all that sealer on the front that soaked all the way down into the pores of the wood that's probably not going to take stain very well. Your going to be sanding for hours ot right through the veneer finish probably because it's paper thin. Nice job Dave. Hit me up we can go to Red Lobster ! I'm buying!
Yeah guitar kits have come a long way..this is the 10th or 11th one I have done on the Channel.. A few years back, everything was soldering.. L o l really had to do your research to wire things up. But yeah, I have done a Leo Jaymz guitar kit on the channel..turned out Amazing. Actually, have a few more to do in the future. Great guitar kits.
Sooo...? What you're saying is no beautiful see, though color? Let me get this right! No stains? No, nothing? Just to be clear! No finishes of any kind? Sooo...?? No color? Well.......OK then!!🤨 thanks Dave 🤘 😊
This thing doesn't have a finish on it from the factory, don't know why you think it does... what it really has on it is called "sanding sealer" and is something every single kit guitar will have on it to protect it from shipping damage! It is NOT a type of finish! You have to sand it off to stain it and many people complain on their amazon reviews that they couldn't properly stain the guitar due to not knowing about the sanding sealer! you seemed to try quoting the manual to prove it had a finish but all that really showed is they should've hired a translator to correct their mis-translation errors! They didn't even know the correct English term for sanding sealer so they mistakenly called it a finish. Hope that helps bud, would love to see you properly complete this guitar build, perhaps even convert it to a proper set-neck, love your videos! \m/
Lol it's all good..don't have the time to do the finish work on the guitar..We can just call it the RAW DOG Finish 🤣🤣🤣 Yeah I do realize not a finish on it but I was just want to get it all put together and done..I may come back to it at some point and do something with it..Thank for Watching Bro glad you like the content 🤘😎
@@Dave6SS Absolutely mate, it was all in good faith, my comment was! perhaps you can just put on a clear coat and buff it up cause natural is an underrated finish as well! \m/ Keep on Rocking brother!
If you're thinking of a simular project than pay special attention to what are brother is saying about the ground wire if you've ever had a guitar that played great unplugged than you plugged it up and the buzz from hell couldn't be stopped well that part probably wasn't done right so pay attention tgan you're project won't suck
The cropped screen is too small, probably the only naked Les Paul I’ve ever seen 👀 be a man and stain that thing red with 100 coats of clear buffed out to perfection 🎉
I’m too lazy to read all the comments, but I hope I wasn’t the only dingus to call out the abalone thing. 🫣 I been waiting on this one brutha. I like the long form content too. Appreciate your efforts 🤘🏻
@@Dave6SS I’ve been wanting to get a kit. I’m thinking a Leo Jaymz headless. Need a small practice/travel rig. But the prices on those type of guitars are F’n ridiculous. It’s supposed to be something that can take a bit of rough Luv outside of the “home studio”. But at those prices, I wouldn’t want to take it from its own case. That’s why a sub $150 Leo kit, sounds like the solution. You got any intel on that kit? 👍🏻 or 👎🏻

Sounds Killer man..Guyker seems to be the go to upgrade tuner 🍻😎
The Tele and the LP are the most guitar projects.
@@Dave6SSI've never heard of Guyker parts until this morning.

got a js22 and love it good dinky for the price.
It's a beautiful guitar. How is the bridge hardware compared to a Gibson?
You want to strip some of the chrome finish off the bridge mount for the ground wire, also, to guarantee good connection. The chrome can hinder conductivity.
I have done that in the past when I had an ground issue..but didn't have any issues with this one..Thanks for the tip 😎

I’m debating on weather to get the fesley black lp style, or an Leo Jaymz which is the best in your opinion

Do you have to solder the ground wire to the post to the bridge post just wondering
I never have before on these style of bridge
I hate pick-guards on Les Paul style guitars personally
Can I get a quilt top one?
Don't think they make a quilt top in this model
