I had gone to bed early as I am heading out of town to visit friends in Seoul for the day tomorrow. At 10:10pm, I realized I had been so busy today that I had not done any yoga. I had to clear floor space as I had unpacked stuff on it and now I am sitting on the mat ready to start. Thankfully only 19 minutes and then back to bed. 😛🤣

I did yoga with Adrian for 16 months straight, every day, but when I started a new job this summer, I got away from my practice and I got quite a rude awakening today! Boy oh boy am I ever out of shape, and it happened in four months! I am now back to every day because I need to build my strength back. By the way I quit that job because it damn near killed me! Lol Namaste🙏😎💞
Day7 ALIGN February 2023 complete. I needed this, I woke up with stress headache from my shoulders to neck and head. This practice seemed to help. I also enjoyed chatting with you this morning. Thank you.
One of Adriene's sneaky 18 minute practices. Oh, sure, I can do that. I am just glad we did not lie on our backs because it is so hot and I am sweaty. This is a good practice even if a little tough on a hot day.

Wow, I love the trance like flow. It was magical. I also found that my planks don't feel as "deadly" anymore as I have been practising non stop since Jan 1st! I want to keep it going! I love it. Thanks so much.

What a pleasant surprise! My abs aren't even as sore as I thought they would be! :-) And knee to nose is doable now! We are getting stronger every day! Getting on the mat every day is so paying off! Not just physically but mentally as well. Did anybody else notice a shift in their perception? I used to think "I HAVE to do yoga" every day and now it has switched to "I am so looking forward to this me-time every day"! I enjoy the gentle movements and the challenges as they arise.

7th February 2023, "Align"
I needed this practice so much, felt like closing my eyes during flow and a smile combination relieved my anxious brain. Thank you Adriene.
I skipped two days and what I missed most were planks! Who would have thought? Perfect practice for me today.

i LOVE this kind of repetitive vinyasa flow. it's exactly why i think i first started loving yoga in high school. the power of the transition from chaturanga to updog is like fire for the soul, it feels so POWERFUL! this is one of my top faves :)
I love this one too, for the same reason. I always smile when I see it's a flow practice 🙏💝
This one had me huffing and puffing. And I love it! I never know what the practice will be like each day and that's a treat to just be present and know I'll try my best whatever it is, especially for these 20 min practices I tell myself not to get psyched out, I can do it!
This still recovering senior yogi went with this practice today, slowly catching a wave going with the flow and met my edge at 3 legged dog. Couldn’t quite make it to stacking hips, so I rested wisely in child’s pose. It was interesting to test my fitness, so just went with what feels good 😊 I wonder what tomorrow brings, I’ll check it out🧘🏼♀️🧘🏻♀️🙏💕
Gill I am so amazed at how well you know how far to push your body! Was it something that took you a while to develop a sense of?
I’ve been doing (sorry to say but uninspiring) Pilates to build muscle. I think im not hurting as bad after because it’s a little more controlled for me. I think because im flexible I over do it in the yoga poses when I don’t have the strength.
I miss yoga with Adriene (not you bc I still read your comments lol). But whenever I try to do a YWA recently I pinch a nerve or something happens.
Sorry to be a whiny little 🐝 today.

It's amazing. Everytime I see that it's a flow yoga class I get nervous and my thinking mind tells me I can't do it or that I shouldn't do it. But everytime I'm done, even if I still have anxiety, I'm so proud of how strong I am, how I carved out time for myself and moved my body today. Somedays are hard mentally and that's okay. What matters for me is that I show up everyday on my mat. Because it's not just emotional strength I am gaining, its getting through the mental road blocks. Proud yogi over here. Thank you Adriene.

Every practice, I'm suprised that I'm getting stronger. Plank is feeling less painful on the wrists, transitions are feeling more smooth, negative self talk almost gone during practice. Thank you everyone for practicing with me today! Namaste 😘

Firstly, I've been going through a rough time lately and when you said "you've done a good job" I cried a little. I really needed to hear that--so thank you, Adriene.
Second, I learned what it meant to be curious today. I find myself often at a loss when I go to set an intention, not always but often. Today it occurred to me that my intention block came from this odd self-imposed interpretation that anything I intended to do would only be done if I accomplished a thing..i.e., if I wanted to focus on connection, what was the accomplishable intention? To connect to a particular thing/sensation/observation of self? It was so abstract, I wasn't quite sure what that meant... But it was at that moment that I realized, I didn't need to know and I didn't need to come to know, I could simply set my intention to explore the possibilities of connection through this 20-minute practice. That word explore was so key and it was wonderful. I've heard you say be curious so many times but I never really connected (heh, that word again) it until just now.

After practising for 2 years on and off and today is one of the first times I did all of it without having too stop or do too many alterations and I feel fantastic. I have never felt more in tune with my body! Thank you Adriene 🌸

I took child's pose during the last vinyasa, but I did the rest. One of my stronger practices. We all make progress with commitment.
Align day 7. I really had to force myself onto the mat today and despite finding it difficult still as I feel so weak, I'm super glad I did as I totally enjoyed it and feel so much better 🙏💝

I feel kinda sad that I struggle so much transitioning from downward facing dog to lunges :/
I try to practice without judgement but it's tough somedays
Slowly it will come together
Glad I found my way to the mat again
My transition to the lunge is never a smooth move ... But I'm moving so that's something 😃 ✌️
I think as long as you are on the mat and giving it as much as you can, you should be proud of yourself❤
I move my leg with a lot of assistance, lots of little scoots up or physically have to use my hands to get my leg where it needs to go😘💙 keep showing up, youre doing great work🙏
Even after I'd done a full year of yoga every day I just could not get that leg up without physically using my hand to move it 😄 I decided it's my anatomy not flexibility that's the issue
This is one of those practices I've had memorized for years because of how often I've repeated it! Here's to day 37 of yoga this year guys 🥰

Morning everybody! Wow, I was able to flow so much more as compared to when I started in January. I did double check with my body a few times "are you okay?" and a few times I took a small break but the other times it said YES. Such a nice feeling 🥰 Namaste!

Hello, it's Father's Day and my married daughter, son in law and adult son celebrated today with Dad and me. We had a great weekend, but now they left and Connect was a perfect practice to connect the dots, so to speak. Good wishes to all the father's in all their different roles and thanks for being a Dad.
It started very smoothly but it progressed into an intense repetitive series of poses. I was not so ready for this amount of intensity but I managed to go through it successfully. I am happy to rush some blood into the brain and then suddenly wind down, connect and observe.
What a way to end November 2023!! I really loved this practice. Thankyou, Adriene. Looking forward to December’s calendar. xx

Blessed Beloved Beauties! Celebrate Day - 4 is a true jewel. I am so grateful for this session that has provided a major energy shift mentally, physically, and spiritually. Unfortunately, I received disturbing news about a very special loved one being the victim of domestic violence in silence. It angered me. I ran outside to tell my husband with a slip on. I was so disturbed, then I returned to the breath, advised some family members and encouraged her to file a restraining order. This happened last night. She was going to wait on my husband and I to arrive, yet she's anxious and I get it. Thankfully, an officer is going to go to her house. We're going to take her brunch and meet her there. I had to call on the spirit of all my Warrior ancestors to return to my zen. Please send love and light! Namaste and Ase! 🦋♥️🦋

Well, here I am reading my previous post to see the major difference in what happened, then verses what's going on today, and it is indeed miniscule. Ah, thankfully, that jerk is no longer in her life. Yet, she didn't follow through with the restraining order because of his so-called prestige in the community and his son. I told her, "So you have children too." People need to know who he really is. We all have had some time to heal. Thanks for your comment and support. 🦋♥️🦋

strangely felt like a 40 min practice, but not in a bad way... coming from center doing all these planks felt nice, every move and transition felt empowering!

When I first started YWA in January I am pretty sure I wouldn’t have been able to complete this video - and while it was challenging I was able to keep up. I am so grateful for this practice, for Adriene, this community and Benji - Namaste 🙏🏼
I lifted heavy in my upper body yesterday, believe me, I was shaking and sweating in those downward dogs today. I was not prepared!

Yoga is the best warm up for workouts as for me, that allows you not only warm up your muscles, but your mind too :)
Definitely all of my workouts became a lot easier after I started doing yoga before them

Oh gosh, I wish I did this in the morning! That would be absolutely awesome to start my day. Either way I still enjoyed very much, my head was a little over the place but I still managed to have fun 🥰😂
I just actually noticed that i can hear you heartbeat at the beginning of the practice. Idk why but that made it more peaceful.
Lovely flow. Get ready to feel abs and arms. Classic feeling yoga class. Love feeling stronger and modifying poses to be more advance as needed. Trying to learn to float to the top instead of a heavy stomp. Feb 7 '23
