Thanks Adriene. I do a lot of weight lifting and martial arts. After each practice or difficult lift, I go into prayer position. Lately however, Ive been doing it out of habit rather than intention. Thank you for reminding me why I pray. I pray out of gratitude for my body, struggle, and determination.

Hi Adriene, I'm a 13-year-old girl who honestly was a really hot head person. Find you and watching your videos really calmed me to be a better person. I first started with your 31 days of Yoga, and at first, my legs were broken on the 6th day XD..... But slowly I started to enjoy yoga. Now instead of trying to be skinny to wear a good looking top, my main goal is to be healthy and strong. Thank you so much and Namaste :)

Blossoming into the last days of February. Coming to the mat is always rewarding, not always pleasant but each time I learn something new. Today I came with a lot of morning anxiety and while the storm has passed, there is still some left but I know now how I can tend to myself. Not freezing, not fighting, but coming out of the anxiety loop is uncomfortable, and this yoga session was all about changing my mindset. I dared to step out of the anxiety loop and into a more compassionate, freeing mindset. Thank you Adriene 💖✨

I can't believe how challenging this practice felt after a mild covid, and that's very humbling. I'm grateful for being in recovery, for nurturing my body and mind, and for beginning my journey once again.
I’m doing this practice while recovering from COVID also! Can feel my body more shaky than normal.
Yoga with Adriene videos have become such a regular part of my morning practice that I even practice when I’m sick. It helps me get in touch with my body, check in, see where the illness is creating pain this day, and, perhaps more importantly, what my body can still do, so I don’t start to feel down on myself for being incapacitated. Today, I have a pretty bad throat and chest condition that might possibly be Strep. I got about halfway through this video, started to feel a painful cough build up in my chest, transitioned to extended child’s pose, surrendered there and breathed for a solid few minutes, then rejoined Adriene where she was and finished out the video. Then, I set an unguided gong timer on my Headspace app for five minutes and did some alternate nostril breathing, inspired by the first video in December 2022’s playlist. I feel so much calmer, more grounded, more capable, and like I’m breathing so much more easefully than before these practices. Thank you so much, Adriene, and the whole team at YWA, for meeting me right where I’m at today, as usual, and supporting a beautiful, healthy start to my day ❤

I came to the mat today with many jumbled thoughts in my head. It felt like the air shifted without a sound this morning in Finland where I'm living. Adriene's outfit reminded me of leaves and trees, of nature. The practice brought a sense of calm. I can only hope for the best.

* 5/2/23: the amount of tension release from holding my arms back and together was so so therapeutic, felt the stress and to dos of the day leave my body. blossom day 2🌸

I have been practicing with Adriene for 5 years now (more or less regularly each week, and sometimes doing monthly challenges 2 to 5 times a year) and there is one thing I really can’t seem to improve… my crown is sooo far from touching the ground! Am I the only one struggling with it? Other than that, I’ve said it many times in many comments; thank you Adriene for being a wonderful human and bringing this community together from all around the world! ❤
I have really long legs and a short torso so I have also never been able to get my head to the ground. If I bend my knees a bit I get close but I can't do it with mostly straight legs. As long as youre feeling a stretch it's still good!
Don't worry about it. I've been practising Yoga with Adriene since Covid on and off and have been doing yoga regularly for the past four weeks. Even I struggle with touching my head to the ground during the forward fold. Every body is different and there is no right way to do yoga.
No it's not just you🙂. I have long legs and my crown doesn't touch the ground too but Adriene says we're fine🙂

Whenever I hear 'elongate' I'm reminded of my very first yoga teacher, in the 1970s, for whom 'elongate' was not long enough and we were exhorted to 'elongonate'. Many thanks Adriene for bringing up that happy memory

I stumbled across your channel 2 years ago and it has completely changed my life! I suffer from an autoimmune disorder that causes inflammation in the muscles. I practice daily now, often twice a day, and have almost completely eradicated many of the symptoms I used to suffer from constantly! I was wondering if you'd consider making a video about reducing inflammation? I'm not sure what it is exactly about yoga that helps so much, but I know it's something, because it works!
Thats great! If you combine that and drink ginger tea with a pinch of tumeric post yoga I am sure it will be less. Congratulations, keep going, its hard fighting autoimmune disorders. :D
that is wonderful to hear! Do you use ginger and turmeric? Those among a lot of herbs, that I don't remember names of right now, can help reduce inflammation in your body. Along with leaving out meat and dairy products :)
What is the name of the disorder?
i think its because it increases circulation and builds muscle tone. yoga has helped me a lot too, i have some kinda undiagnosed chronic joint inflammation and a back injury

Zuri my darling friend! I came to day 2 of BLOOM to leave my comment for day 3 as comments are turned off there.
I have the most wonderful news to share. My Nurse rang last week and they have now checked all my scan results and I'm in COMPLETE REMISSION!!! 🙏💝🎉 I just need 5 years close clinical follow up every 6 weeks and all being well that will then be full cure ❤ So, I'm now researching dietary changes to help fend off any recurrence. It's difficult as I still can't eat properly so they are still pushing me to use the high calorie supplements they have had me on but they are also high sugar and we all know cancer loves sugar. So far I'm leaning towards looking into and trying out different types of vegetable sprouts as they are small enough I can eat them with anything even if I can only manage to make my own nutrient dense smoothies. Plus my grandaughter will enjoy the process of growing them ❤ LIFE IS GOOD 🎉🙏💝💞

yoga is the best, most successful tool to transform and heal. Today, I dealt with a tough physical body experience from period pain--nausea, lightheadedness, cold sweats, the whole deal!--but I knew that yoga would come to save the day. Before I knew it, the Seek calendar pointed me to this video and I feel strong, courageous, sturdy, and ready to succeed. It also stretched all parts of my body that needed tending to after a sore tryout yesterday. Thank you Adriene, you will always be my yoga teacher
I returned to this practice after almost 5 months of not doing my practice and I could feel my hands and feet talking to me, the blood circulating. AWESOME!
I was feeling lazy and grumpy before doing this practice and also had a pain in my neck that I haven't been able to stretch out the last few days. With encouragement from my partner, I grumpily pushed play, did it, and feeling so much better! The wide-legged forward fold somehow stretched my neck in just the right way too! Thank you Adriene 🙏

SEEK 🦉 | September 14, 2023 | Last time this diddy was on our calendar I was in Texas. Today I'm back home in Canada, but getting ready for a work trip in a few days. This was a great reminder that a little goes a long way and that reconnecting to my breath is never, ever a bad idea. 🙏
Woke up feeling really out of sorts and grotty after a difficult day yesterday. Couldn't focus on the long list of things I had to do today, had a headache...etc....etc...
Anyway. After wandering around in non productive circles for a good while I decided to stop and do my yoga. It feels like I have done a factory reset on myself! Head is clear and calm, body feels soothed and stretched and now, at 3.30pm I feel I can actually start my day. Thanks Adriene 😊

DAY 12 OF RESPECT. What a DAY. This practice is one of the reasons why I have been smiling from ear to ear today, why I feel genuinely happy and why I believe that there is hope for those beautiful moments. Spent my day volunteering with children who have disabilities in such a positive environment and ended my day doing this practice. I feel GOOD. Thank you Adriene as always.

This practice for Day 4 of Meditate is one I return to often when I want a 20 minute workout but slow and kind and purposeful. It always leaves me feeling satisfied. There’s some good power poses in there and helps build strength for us senior yogis. Awesome Adriene thank you 🧘🏼♀️🧘🏻♀️💞🙏

I never appreciate yoga more than when I come back to it after a break. I haven't been able to make time to get on my mat in over a week and I was definitely feeling the difference. I've been anxious and stiff and irritable and sore and I was wondering what on earth was wrong with me. I realized that I'd been missing my time on my mat. This little practice was perfect to come back to. I feel calm, grounded, and alive. Thank you Adriene (and community!) for always having my back ❤

Hi, Adriene! I've been doing the videos from your channel on and off for the last three years. At first, I was only focusing on getting back into shape after a year of illness and depression, and yoga helped a lot with that, but more recently I've focused more on doing yoga to have a healthy mind. One morning, I realized I wasn't really breathing. I would inhale and then just kind of move on. And I wondered why I was so tense all the time! Now I really focus on my breath and clearing my mind and not worrying about time or lists. My mental health has improved. I have more energy, and my core is probably stronger than it's ever been. Everything is connected. Thank you so much!

Well, Blossom 🌸 was a stop start for me this month. Many reasons why I couldn't maintain the daily ritual. That doesn't mean I give up. I'm glad I have chosen this to end the month with. A much needed stretch and reminder on focusing on my body, listening to what it needs and moving with the breath. I certainly feel energised for the day.
Is it just me, or is practice just ‘flying by’? Even though this was a short one, it felt shorter than yesterday’s 12-minute practice. Just focus on your breathe, right? Sending it all the way to Texas! 🙏🏻
The last ten flew by even faster than the first ten.
Started yoga back up yesterday after being 13 months post partum. It's been almost 2 years since I've done yoga so it's kicking my butt. But I just wanted to say thank you! Your monthly calendars keep me on track and I'm excited to keep going!
Adriene, I’ve just completed the healthy body yoga session from 4 years ago. I’ve been following you since 2013 doing yoga on and off. As I have done since me teens. This week I decided to do yoga every morning. Whatever one pops up in my UA-cam feed (always your sessions). Today I know I was in the right place because of the word you used throughout the journey today but essentially at the end. ‘If you look good, you feel good’ I use this saying all the time. With the added, if you feel good you do good. Thanks for always coming to the mat!
Yes that's how I do my daily yoga, whichever Adrienne yoga shows up in my UA-cam. Great way to mix it up. 🙂

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your content ♥️ I used to do a daily yoga practice with you every day, but after a knee injury that wouldn't even allow me to get into child's pose without extreme pain, I strayed. For 2 years, I kept telling myself that when a new calendar dropped, I was going to start, but it never happened. Until May 1st, I started Bloom, and in just 3 days, I feel so much better, and just what I needed to start a daily practice once again.
Day 23 of FLOW. Im always happy to see this practice come up so I super enjoyed today 🥰
Sometimes I just hate myself for not working out so much and I feel I’m less worthy than my friends because I don’t work out so much. But when that feeling strikes I always need you to remind me I’m worthy and amazing as a human being.
