My daughter, 5y, just corrected my pose at the end of this session. I was lying in the middle of our living room at the end of the video. She looked at my mobile phone and said "dad, she has her arms more like this", pushing my arms with her feet a little more to the side.... :). I said "thank you". She said "you're welcome". On this Christmas morning, when waking up to open presents isn't really a thing anymore, I think about the true meaning of Christmas (Christ). Not everyone in my family believes in Jesus, so I'm going to go enjoy time with them and be mindful of this on the inside. When you said we are not alone because there are thousands of people practicing right along with us in this very moment, it occurred to me that this is true in discipleship too. There are thousands (millions, even) of people practicing their discipleship in this very moment too. That is comforting and joyous. Peace and good will to all (regardless of what you believe) 🩵💛 thank you for this practice!

Thank you Adriene. Today I was doing yoga in the park and a cute dog came and slept on my mat. I trust him. I was awesome doing yoga while him sleeping on the front edge of the mat. Lots of love ❤❤
I get so happy when I see a practice I am revisiting 🎉 This year was the first one I managed to complete January's 30 days of yoga. And ever since yoga really has become part of my routine, an integral part. I don't have a perfect track record, have been away from the mat many days - during an entire month once - but I keep coming back. My goal now is to get to the mat at least every business day. And I fail, and I succed. But everyday is a new chance. And I think that is the most important thing: to remind ourselves that we can try again, that we don't have to wait for a big reset like a new year or even a new week. Everyday is a new day to believe in ourselves and hope🙏🏻💖🌈 Thank you Adriene, Benji and Team for creating this amazing community. I am always amazed by the energy I get from these practices and the feeling that truly I am not alone. This last week has been a struggle. Today, for the first time, I felt that connection to everyone practicing 🙏🏻 it gave me hope & helped me regain my trust in the universe.
after finishing this session i had this epiphany that i love and appreciate yoga for making me present and aware of my body. it makes me thankful for my body and what it can do. thank you

Hello again Breath, Bridge and YWA family! Who is still on the MOVE? A bit of stress arose right before practicing today but now it is mostly gone. So exciting to see there is at least one pose, firelog, that I can do that Adriene is still working on. 😜 I can thank years of living in Korea for that. I perhaps find it too easy and need a more advanced adjustment. Any ideas? That said, we all find poses that are easier or more difficult for us. And each day that can change. Each side even. What does the mind do when difficulty arises? Are you able to see it react and return to the breath and being in the pose? Not always easy. Be well! Move day 5. Day 152 in a row.
I admire your super firelog pose William, it was the opposite for me, sooo difficult, but when I come upon one like that I just do my version and enjoy the moment. Well done for your consecutive days, awesome ! 👏
Same for me, Gill - firelog was quite a jolt! Great practice in being completely flummoxed, that moment of "shame"/defeat - and then, I burst out laughing, fell over and started again with her first variation. I thought "I have to TRUST that I can work toward this pose" - and that was exciting. And, William - I also was moved to see/hear Adriene not fully expressing the pose. All in all - SWEET practice. Adriene, you'll probably never see or read this, but I just wanted to know you helped me so incredibly much tonight. I received some truly, truly devastating news tonight and it broke my heart. I was in the midst of a panic attack when I realized I hadn't done my yoga. This practice is scheduled for Saturday but when I saw the title I knew it was put there to help me. I did this practice with tears in my eyes and a broken heart and it calmed my soul so deeply. I still feel broken...but at least a little less. Thank you, Adriene. Namaste.

I'm finally committing to a daily yoga practice with April 2023's ROOT playlist. This was the practice I needed today. I needed to be reminded to trust myself as I strive to take care of the body that is my home. I found myself getting caught up in negative self talk on my health journey this year, feeling like nothing I was doing made a difference. But that is not the case at all. I have gotten stronger, I have been reminded of the amazing things my body can do, and I have been practicing renewed self care. I need to trust in myself, trust that I am making small steps towards wellness and peace every day (physically and emotionally), and exercise hope and self compassion. I also appreciated the reminder that as I practice, so too do thousands of others. None of us are alone in our journeys. Thank you for making this community and making this practice accessible!

This video is always such a great reminder that our anatomies work differently for different poses. I may not be able to ever get my feet down in downward dog or get frustrated in the left and right balances, but yes ma'am I can do the firelog pose just fine with no space between my knees and my feet (have been doing that one for years since I was a kid) 😂 Every body is different and we all have our strengths and weaknesses - you don't have to be 'perfect' or copycat what you see on screen. Just find what feels good 💖

Had to switch this shorter practice for a longer one that I’ll have more time for tomorrow. Really enjoyed this one though. I think it is my favorite of the shorter and more gentle flows. Adriene has this way of knowing exactly how to make her practice feel like a warm hug. I feel lighter, hopeful, more connected, and I’m working on trusting in myself more. DELIGHT ✨ | July 13, 2024 | This is a great, well rounded practice in a small package! Today the fire log pose was extra intense, normally I'm quite open in my hips, but I could feel it today - maybe a sign that I should come back to fire log again soon. Did this outside on a beautiful day, but those mosquitoes sure challenged my balance! 🙏
I've practised 3 years on and off, but since the beginning of this year I promised myself to yoga every single day, no matter what is going on. This is easily the best decision I've ever made and I feel like I can take on anything because I'm always in the best headspace and whenever I feel lost in the world I just have to ground my feet and feel right at ease. You really change lives, thank you for everything ❤

Well some of my favourite things are , Doctor who my favourite tv show in the world 🌎 and yoga obviously ,😀 and I love turtles and they make me feel happy and hopeful. 😀 I have lots of things that bring me joy , but this is just some of them . I get so happy when I see a practice I am revisiting 🎉
This year was the first one I managed to complete January's 30 days of yoga. And ever since yoga really has become part of my routine, an integral part. I don't have a perfect track record, have been away from the mat many days - during an entire month once - but I keep coming back. My goal now is to get to the mat at least every business day. And I fail, and I succed. But everyday is a new chance.
And I think that is the most important thing: to remind ourselves that we can try again, that we don't have to wait for a big reset like a new year or even a new week. Everyday is a new day to believe in ourselves and hope🙏🏻💖🌈
Thank you Adriene, Benji and Team for creating this amazing community. I am always amazed by the energy I get from these practices and the feeling that truly I am not alone.

Hello again Breath, Bridge and YWA family! Who is still on the MOVE?
A bit of stress arose right before practicing today but now it is mostly gone. So exciting to see there is at least one pose, firelog, that I can do that Adriene is still working on. 😜 I can thank years of living in Korea for that. I perhaps find it too easy and need a more advanced adjustment. Any ideas? That said, we all find poses that are easier or more difficult for us. And each day that can change. Each side even. What does the mind do when difficulty arises? Are you able to see it react and return to the breath and being in the pose? Not always easy.

I admire your super firelog pose William, it was the opposite for me, sooo difficult, but when I come upon one like that I just do my version and enjoy the moment. Well done for your consecutive days, awesome ! 👏

Same for me, Gill - firelog was quite a jolt! Great practice in being completely flummoxed, that moment of "shame"/defeat - and then, I burst out laughing, fell over and started again with her first variation. I thought "I have to TRUST that I can work toward this pose" - and that was exciting. And, William - I also was moved to see/hear Adriene not fully expressing the pose. All in all - SWEET practice. Adriene, you'll probably never see or read this, but I just wanted to know you helped me so incredibly much tonight. I received some truly, truly devastating news tonight and it broke my heart. I was in the midst of a panic attack when I realized I hadn't done my yoga. This practice is scheduled for Saturday but when I saw the title I knew it was put there to help me. I did this practice with tears in my eyes and a broken heart and it calmed my soul so deeply. I still feel broken...but at least a little less. Thank you, Adriene. Namaste.

I'm finally committing to a daily yoga practice with April 2023's ROOT playlist. This was the practice I needed today. I needed to be reminded to trust myself as I strive to take care of the body that is my home. I found myself getting caught up in negative self talk on my health journey this year, feeling like nothing I was doing made a difference. But that is not the case at all. I have gotten stronger, I have been reminded of the amazing things my body can do, and I have been practicing renewed self care. I need to trust in myself, trust that I am making small steps towards wellness and peace every day (physically and emotionally), and exercise hope and self compassion.
I also appreciated the reminder that as I practice, so too do thousands of others. None of us are alone in our journeys. Thank you for making this community and making this practice accessible!

This video is always such a great reminder that our anatomies work differently for different poses. I may not be able to ever get my feet down in downward dog or get frustrated in the left and right balances, but yes ma'am I can do the firelog pose just fine with no space between my knees and my feet (have been doing that one for years since I was a kid) 😂 Every body is different and we all have our strengths and weaknesses - you don't have to be 'perfect' or copycat what you see on screen. Just find what feels good 💖

Had to switch this shorter practice for a longer one that I’ll have more time for tomorrow. Really enjoyed this one though. I think it is my favorite of the shorter and more gentle flows. Adriene has this way of knowing exactly how to make her practice feel like a warm hug. I feel lighter, hopeful, more connected, and I’m working on trusting in myself more. Already added this to my saved list of healing/restorative yoga videos by you. Thank you once again for another beautiful practice. ✨💞

DELIGHT ✨ | July 13, 2024 | This is a great, well rounded practice in a small package! Today the fire log pose was extra intense, normally I'm quite open in my hips, but I could feel it today - maybe a sign that I should come back to fire log again soon. Did this outside on a beautiful day, but those mosquitoes sure challenged my balance! 🙏
I've practised 3 years on and off, but since the beginning of this year I promised myself to yoga every single day, no matter what is going on. This is easily the best decision I've ever made and I feel like I can take on anything because I'm always in the best headspace and whenever I feel lost in the world I just have to ground my feet and feel right at ease. You really change lives, thank you for everything ❤
