Good evening sir, I am following your videos, I am updating my self .As a Highway Designer many fundamentals behind the technology learned. While visiting site contractor asked " Can I use river sand in high embankment construction " Sir is there any methodology as IS or IRC.
sand is difficult to compact as there is no cohesion between the particles. Moreover it is more likely to get eroded during rains and it has more voids than any other soil.
