I wish they would get together and perform again😢 At this point, I would spend my last dime to fly straight to the site of this legendary band. I love each and every member, including Jason. I have listened to EVERY song that has ever been released, even those secret ones and the earlier songs by the Yardbirds. I cannot explain my obsession, but I think my most favorite part is the way Jimmy and Robert play off one another. Jimmy can play something and Robert will come up with a way to make Jimmy's licks come to life through his voice and then next thing you know, Jimmy will imitate Robert. It becomes difficult to tell who is leading who and I just get lost in the beauty of it all. And then they'll smile at each other and I just melt into a puddle.
I've just spent the best part of an hour listening to this on repeat. Jimmy's slightly distorted main riff is so much nicer than the recorded version. In fact this is the best version of Ramble On that I know of. OK, I'm going to go listen to Kashmir back to back now.

@@robyn8842His performance was excellent, most of his contemporaries wished they were that good as his age.
Go listen to mick Thomas of starship then come back to your comment bud.
That mic stand kick @1.21!! 1:21
Best bass line in the World. Thanks Led Zeppelin.
It is a beautiful bass line
Still listening in 2024!
I'm from the future, it's 3024 where I'm rock'n!
P.S. we still don't have any f***ing flying cars however Trump did indeed Make America Great Again!!
💯
Me too. Brings back memories of looking forward the newest LZ album to come out when I was a kid.
Still think this is Zeppelin’s finest song. Dang.
God bless them for doing this tribute to Ahmet and making sure his legacy is never forgotten! Long live these gods of rock! Truly when giants walked the earth!
Com certeza ❤️
No que depender de mim, já mais será esquecido 🎶🎼🎸🤘👍
Amen.
I adore this track ✌️✨

@@stevebashore1517 🙋🏻♀️❤️😍 LED Zeppelin,🎸🎸🎶🎼👏👏👏🤘👍
And I was there ! Still love the great Led Zeppelin’s music at 68 ! 💃💃💃❤
Too cool!
Amazing! So lucky
I'm eternally jealous!
Best recording of this song I've ever heard. Thank you for posting it! Reminds me of my youth. This has to be saved for future generations.
Always listening to the best rock and roll band even in 2024
I believe without Led Zeppelin there would be a huge, and I mean a huge unknown or unrecognizable emptiness in all popular music.
Something we would think about but unable to pin point what we were or are all missing. A sadness, maybe.
Simply, Led Zeppelin are The GOAT.
The Rolling Stones have been playing for 60 years
@@vincenzostr4488 and they are still not the goat, by many miles my friend. if you think other wise why are you here? go back to your cut rate music and quit wasting our time dealing with u
Not true! They didn’t come along till after Beatles had disbanded. Beatles opened all the doors, yes ALL the doors. No Beatles = no LED Zeppelin, Bowie and just about everyone else, yes including Stones and Floyd
Sooooo good. JPJ’s melodic play and timing is superb. Jimmy - enough can’t be said about him and Robert just a great voice and frontman all wrapped up in one…
🎸🎤✌🏾🥁Led Zeppelin Was And Still Is The Greatest Rock And Roll Band Ever 💪🏾🦁✊🏾😊
❤
With all due respect to the Beatles and Stones, Zeppelin puts the rock in rock n' roll. And Jimmy Page makes white hair look super cool.
It’s only crazy how wildly attractive they still were (and are)
Tú también eres muy bonita y atractiva. Ramble On...
"Oh sometimes I get so tired....but I know there's one thing I got to do...Ramble On"... says it all!!!!!!
Hello Sherry, I'm glad you're a fan. How are you doing today? It's my pleasure meeting you here. Is this your favorite track of the band?
My favorite bass line... ❤️ Hard to upstage Jimmy but JPJ did it on this one. A monumental Zep song on every front.
A monster of a baseline as I have ever heard. JPJ you are legendary amongst legends.
This bassline is the most memorable and best in rock music. Magic in a bottle was what JPJ did on this track
En ésta y en the lemon song JPJ es increíble
WHAT a band. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. Tried my hardest to get a ticket (like millions), i only live a hundred miles away but!! The same at Knebworth in 1979. Still I've got the memories.
you hear this band, you hear that band and then you realize zep is an own planet
Are these the coolest best vibing band on the planet or what? I wanna cry, laugh and celebrate all at once, omg been hooked since 14yrs old, 51 now, led iv my first experience and when I was told there's more out there, went to Woolworth dept store and got all they had, discovered physical graffiti a few years later. Love these guys
PG,... those who know, know.....
Everything you wrote here is also true about me, except for my age which is 58, and where I got their albums which is in my country, Poland.
Been hooked at the age of 14, too, discovered Physical Graffiti a few yrs later, and love these guys 😃
@@michiv334 yep me too 14 i cranked my dad's speakers whole lotta love i couldn't believe the energy and raw power they blew me off the map. There's every other band in the world and then there is led Zeppelin.
Damn he still has awesome vocals
Led Zeppelin was a truly special band, and "Ramble On" is one of their finest moments. The lyrics are full of imagery and symbolism, and the music is both driving and melodic. It's a song that can take you on a journey, and it's no wonder that it's been a fan favorite for decades. Led Zeppelin is undeniable the greatest rock band for generations to come.
sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo true my friend. i love led zeppelin, they are the only reason i listen to music. not to say i dont love many rock bands but zepp rules
Ramble on was released in 1969 (more than 50 years back) - reprised here 37 years later - and still remains a powerhouse to this day ! RESPECT
Very Powerful !!! I've not seen or heard anything that comes close to the chemistry
of these fine artists !!! Pure Magic!!!
I agree, "Ramble On" is a very powerful song.
Only band that comes close is either Foo Fighters or Rush. My 2 cents..
Who doesn't find peace and serenity thru this song
John Paul Jones is most important piece in the machine. Truly incredible bassist and keyboard player.
I've just spent the best part of an hour listening to this on repeat. Jimmy's slightly distorted main riff is so much nicer than the recorded version. In fact this is the best version of Ramble On that I know of. OK, I'm going to go listen to Kashmir back to back now.
WOW!!!!! Would pay 4 figures to see these guys. Amazing
Gets no better than this!!
JPJ pure absolutely incredible genius
One of my very favorite Led Zeppelin tunes from one of the greatest albums of all times.
Absolutely superb. The musicianship is amazing from these seasoned professionals. They only got better with age.
This song has always been one of my favorites from Zeppelin. Thanks.
How amazing are these guys?
They are the Gods of Rock Gods!
Each individual is a master musician, together they are the most powerful band ever.
Listening to them is still a pure joy and blessing. It's music that feeds and nourishes every emotion.
Thanks guys for the best of the best that music can be.
so fuckin true brother
I just totally live zep. But thare were other builders,ex: beatles, who, add on folks.
they are NOT Gods - you fool....
they are mortal men who just happen to be
blessed with amazing musical skills....
@@volpeverde6441Dumb comment. It was an intentionally hyperbolic comment, so no need to call another poster a fool
@Paulo fc
musicians are NOT Gods.....
in some circles it is said and can be read, that Robert Plant shouted out of his L.A. Hotel window - 'I am a GOLDEN GOD.....!'
weeks/days? later (because of this HUBRIS?) Plant's son Karac was DEAD....
there are those who say zeppelin angered the REAL Gods....
look at yourself....
you are the fool if you worship/call mortals God's....
John Paul Jones turn the BASS up, That is one serious Bass Line
The bass can be heard very poorly😒🤔
And John, and plantie worked hard to not get hit in the head by the mic stand. John can dance !!!!!
That break at 1.42, just beautiful
the greatest rock band in history !! // Led Zeppelin: A Family !!
Hey kids,look,real music
