You don't have the option of manipulating the ratio if you take both in the same tablet. If combination D/K2 works the ratio must be the key, so you want that option.

He was referred to have a blood test to check his vitamin D levels by the dentist in Iran because his tooth had pretty much disintegrated in a short space of time which was very unusual as he’s always had healthy teeth 🦷
Since increasing his Vitamin D levels, his cancer stopped spreading, his cough cleared up and he felt better than ever! Sadly it had already spread to his brain so he is still fighting now but we all truly believe that the medication he was on for Rheumatoid Arthritis is what lowered his immune system which led to developing cancer.

Here is a summary of the key points from the video:
The text discusses a study called the VITAL study, which involved 26,000 people and found that vitamin D supplementation did not reduce the risk of cancer, major cardiovascular events, stroke, or cardiovascular death. The author suggests this study is flawed for several reasons:
    1. It did not test baseline vitamin D levels, so it's unclear if participants were deficient or already sufficient in vitamin D. This could impact the effectiveness of supplementation.
    2. The placebo group was still allowed to take up to 800 IU of vitamin D per day, making the control group less of a true placebo.
    3. The study only used 2,000 IU of vitamin D, which may not be a high enough dose to see benefits, especially for immune system and cellular effects of vitamin D.
    4. The study only measured inactive vitamin D in the blood, not the active form that has effects on the immune system, inflammation, etc.
The author then cites other research showing benefits of higher dose vitamin D supplementation (4,000-6,000 IU) for reducing asthma, autoimmune disease, cancer, and other conditions. The text concludes that despite the VITAL study, there is substantial evidence supporting the importance of adequate vitamin D intake.

I've been taking between 2000 to 5000iu of D3 for the last 10 years. 2000iu's most of the time. Without the cofactors. I had severe hayfever all my life and occasional asthma attacks in the last 5 years. Been on different antihistamines for years. Chronic sinusitis every winter, and all these symptoms despite my Vitamin D3 intake. Since September 2023 I started taking 10000iu D3 daily + 50000iu once a month. Also taking K2 MK7 ( trans version ), Mg, Zn. Since my levels of D3 surpassed 100ng/ml I don't have any hayfever or asthma attacks, I breathe like never before and this was the first winter without any sinusitis. The effects took place in about 2 months since I started the higher doses. Currently averaging at 110-140ng/ml D3 in the blood and never felt better. Since I hit maximum of 147ng/ml stopped taking the 50000iu and now only 10000iu a day. Mid 30's white male.

Not only did they want to make vitamins unavailable over the counter, but they also wanted to place natural/herbal suppliments like Turmeric, Ginko Biloba, Saw Palmetto, etc under "prescription only" restrictions. Of course, no doctor would prescribe a natural medicine over a pharmaceutical, so it amounted to an outright ban of all natural supplements. I think they managed to get that to fly in Germany. And where was the study conducted? Where were the 26,000 people they tested? Were they in the lower latitudes? Did they test people in higher latitudes, like Canada or Russia? What time of year was the study conducted? Was it in winter? The study sounds like it was, shall we say, "engineered" for whatever purpose.

By Dr. Seneff's own admission, that "I may be wrong", her take on vitamin D supps. may, or may not be right! I think she's right in the way the mechanisms work, but she might be incorrect on how the body ITSELF breaks down, and reacts to the supplements. Obviously, each person is unique, so results will vary, but anecdotal evidence suggests that D supps. in higher than recommended dosages, especially in overcast areas where sunlight is in short supply, improves mental and physical health... Long term, only God knows for sure...

I am 56, and went to hospital with chest pain six months ago, convinced I was having a heart attack. My heart was fine, but blood showed I had critically low vitamin D levels.. (which Ive since learned can be caused by very low Vit D). since learning that, I now take a good quality D3, as well as K2 and magnesium, as well as completely changed way of eating to a keto diet. Not only have I lost 15 kg, I’ve not had one single chest pain , the weakness in my arms and legs has gone, my whole body aches and pains have reduced drastically, and I feel better than I have for a very long time !!!!!

@desertbluesplaylist7550 it took me about two weeks to begin noticing the lessening pain and after about 6 weeks(ish) I have been almost pain free. My functional med Dr told me that inflammation was a great deal of my issues with the lower back pain and joint pain. I don't know about other issues, but at 55 yrs old, I was almost debilitated with the pain and now I'm at least 90% or better improved and have been for several years now.

I used to take 4000 UI a day, but recently increased to 8000. My serum phosphate level decreased under the the minimum value, and this is probably the consequence of the consumption of too much vitamin D. In fact, high vitamin D usually increases phosphate absorption from the intestines and can increase phosphate levels in the blood. So I recommend people not to exceed 4000 UI. No need to say I reverted to 4000 UI.
    - High vitamin D increases calcium absorption.
    - High calcium levels can suppress parathyroid hormone (PTH).
    - Low PTH can cause the kidneys to excrete more phosphate.
    - This increased excretion can lead to lower phosphate levels in the blood.

Vitamin D "supplementation" (not to mention "fortification" of selected food items in the United States) *is* a pharmacological intervention, just as estrogen replacement is. The fact that a handful of food items contain "vitamin D3" (AKA cholecalciferol) does not make it any more of a "nutrient" than phytoestrogens. The "natural" source of "vitamin D" is production in the skin and immediate release into the bloodstream, not ingestion. This process requires exposure to UV radiation, which makes sunlight the nutrient and oral ingestion of "vitamin D3" equivalent to replacement rather than supplementation. (Note also that the metabolite measured in the bloodstream to determine "vitamin D" status is calcidiol (25-hydroxy "vitamin D"), which is a prohormone derived from cholecalciferol by the liver shortly after the latter is released into the bloodstream by the skin.)

I thought about what I was doing differently and realized that I hadn't been spending much time in the sun lately. I started taking a D3 supplement, 20,000 iu the first day and now 15k everyday, 10k in the am and 5k before bed. Improved all kinds of things in just a couple days.
