Thank you to everyone who put in a guess of the weight of that little bass. Time was up last night at midnight but, we did get a pretty accurate guess that did not go over. I will be announcing the winner in the next video. Until then...cheers.
Just to offer some clarity: I'll look at entries up to midnight tonight (local time). If there are two winners the one with the earliest guess wins. In case anyone was curious the dowel I used is 1 inch diameter. Good luck.
LOL~ As an ole crappie jig tyer, You popped up on my views. Every entertaining, informative, & interesting. I will watch your other vids. Keep up the good work. From a 76+ NE TX LIFELONG FISHERMAN. PS: I've a hardheaded young country boy grandson who loves to bass fish around farm ponds. I'm going to show him your channel. I hope you spark his interest.
Love it! Simple design, great action! With that shape, I'll make up a couple and paint them in sunfish colors. For pike I think I'm going try a heavier Lolipop lure painted like a fish head and tie a 6 or 8 inch long bucktail "body" on a larger treble hook. The Lolipop should give the deer hair a real nice swimming action. Thanks Franco and welcome back!
1.14 (1 lb and 14 oz) I'm really amazed how good of an action this lure had. I was hoping you'd add a dressed hook. Thanks again for your content. Really enjoying your work and insight
Love this one, definitely going to make these with my kids. Could do big batches quick for them to do with friends too. The fact that there is only one treble hook is a bonus for kids. I’ll guess 1lb 2.12oz for the fish!
When I use super glue on wood projects, I like to save the fine wood dust from sanding the piece, and I sprinkle that in the super glue instead of baking soda. If you want to leave the piece unpainted, you can actually get a pretty invisible seam/hole/etc with this combo.
wow i was surprised to hear of him passing away at Christmas time 98-year-old he was an awesome lure maker too i know i paid way too much for all of his lures and boxes of vintage supplies too lucky the bank was open we went it and transfer money another thing i did buy too moving company is packing them house up for more and delivering it here Friday should be here did bring a box of wooden suit hanger with me too yes they have a larger spoon shape there going to be interest lures too

Very creative. Sometimes I wish I had that talent. This is such an awesome idea. And cheap enough to not care if you mess up
It turned out to be a very funny and funny bait, and at the same time catchy)))

1.24lbs (1lb 24oz) is my guess. Those lures look great. Congrats on 15,000 subs👏🏽
This is a really cool idea! Would a little wider lip make it five a bit more though?
Maybe a little more but mostly is would dive to depth more quickly. The shape of the lure limits its ability to dive deep.
@@EngineeredAngler that makes a lot of sence! Thanks for explaining
