    Man I am amazed at your talent, patience, and attention to detail. Two things I would love to see-1. A website with your lures for sale? I’ve seen your molds but nothing on your lures for sale. Am I missing something. 2nd -maybe you have already done it and I haven’t seen it but the evil in me would love to see your mistakes. The bigger the better. Lol Tragic mistakes like after carving for hours you break the lure etc. . Then follow that with how you fixed the mistake or if you trash it and start over. Love what you do and thanks for the info.

    • @andrewmyers7131
      @andrewmyers7131 6 років тому +1

      Carolyn, this is an excellent hobby for younger people. I’m not sure how old you are, but when I was in 6th grade I got a scroll saw for Christmas and made so much with it. I agree with your dad that a bandsaw is pretty dangerous, but a scroll saw is much safer and can certainly handle wood the size you would need for these lures. Or you can use a fine tooth coping saw (which is what I started with). The rest of the carving can be done with sandpaper or a dremel. Keep practicing, don’t take it too serious or be too hard on yourself, and you will learn.
