Thank you for these videos. I started with bell siphon. But it was not reliable, difficult to start, etc. Then I saw your video on u siphon, especially the use of small tubing to initiate the siphon flow. I built 3 u siphons using the small tubing idea and my u siphons are working very well. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
How important is the funnel like shape in the stand pipe? Does it increase the flow rate of the siphon. I'm planning to make a bell siphon. With a 15mm stand pipe, 73mm bell siphon pipe and 90mm for the guard to keep the hydroton out. How much height in between the bell siphon cap and stand pipe?
Can ya ship me one of those bell siphons? i like the design. Im trying the nutrient film method but would love to add a grow bed. it difficult to find those fittings here in the us.
Thanks, but please, if you want more people to enjoy your videos (why else publishing it) try to keep the important visual part in the visible part of the cadre (since you believe you must have cadre on your videos). And yes, slow down a notch, when presenting a new element at least.

Is there a chance the plastic tue will shift inside the pipe once the siphon pressure kicks in?
