I just replicated this, as an experiment only, using ½" pipe, a small waterbottle and a glue gun, added a garden hose to the outlet, really boosted the flow quite a lot, simple, easy and very cheap, not very pretty or even durable, but leaves room to tinker and see what else can be used from around the house, recycling is important too 🥳😄 greetings from Thailand, just starting up hydroponics in my yard, uploaded some videos too..
hey, thanks for the video, I really like the external aspect of this design and would love to implement it on my next bed, did you ever end up making another video for a smaller setup? i would be keen to see this if you did but cant seem to find it in your videos...
@@Adam-mn1wr Here are some sizing, i can make a video on this later on if you like, but it would be in a while since I am not home. And wont be for a few months possibly longer. Parts list for a smaller setup 2" pvc pipe 1 1/4" pvc pipe 2" pvc tee 2" x 1-1/4" reducer coupler - amzn.to/3vE7fXt That is a smaller way to set it up. Ideally I would want to do it 2" x 1" but I don't think they make a rubber coupler in that size, so this is the next size up which will still work. or 2" pvc pipe 1" pvc pipe 2" pvc tee 2" x 1" reducer coupler - amzn.to/49FavzO You can do it like this but it would require more work since you would have to sand out the inside that blocks the 1" pipe from going all the way through

Thanks
and no have not made a smaller one. But you can do it the same just with smaller parts.
@@vonponics Thanks, I was just hoping for some sizing guidelines for a smaller system

@@vonponics wonderful! Much appreciated!
Will external siphoning still work if the outlet comes out of the bottom side of the tank?
yes
please use standard measurements, ie metric
