Real wisdom. What you don't eat is so much more important than what you do eat. You can't go wrong by fixing your gut health, whether the details may or may not be correct. There is a ton we do not know about gut health as it is very much an emerging science, but Dr. Gundry has a great track record.

Since I’m 3/4 way through healing my leaky gut (under doctor supervision): glutamine supp (fuel for intestinal cells), probiotic (healthy gut bacteria) prebiotic (fuel for gut bacteria) I use kitchen sink approach eg inulin , FOS, etc. and post biotic eg fermented foods. My doc recommended saurkraut juice

If you make it at home you can remove them but store bought may bring varied results. Some stores crush the tomatoes for tomato sauce because it is more cost effective. If you roll the dice with store bought I would locate an Italian brand.

I've been using collagen, off and on for several years, but I never just stuck with it long enough. Now I take the combination, bovine, chicken membrane from the eggs shell add fish. I'm 80 years old, I'm in fairly good help for the exception of joint pains and back pain. So I went back on the collagen. I decided I'm going to continue on collagen with vitamin c which I have been taking a good vitamin c from purity. Just a little over a week now, and I'm feeling better in my joints. I know as we age we can have bone loss,
And that's why we should get a bone density test. I don't smoke and I don't drink.. of course I do enjoy coffee.
And I found out if you're drinking more than one cup a day it will strip you of the minerals, from your bones. I thank God for collagen and vitamin c that works well together.

I consume 50gr of collagen a day. I noticed that 20gr wasn't enough. Increased to 40 and felt a big difference. Then Increased abit more to 50gr and it feels like enough. So it is somewhere between 40 to 50 for me. Might take a break and drop to 20 for a while and then go back up to something between 40 to 50.

I stopped adding 10-20 grams of collagen to my daily smoothies for about 6 months now and my toenails has started to thin and break into several layers instead of just being one firm layer of toe nail. Funny this has started to show now after my collagen break? My skin has also started to become more lose, but I dont know if that has anything to do with lack of collagen, could also be from not eating creatine and carbs any longer, so all the body water going off made my skin more lose.

Ironically, the more sci/tech "advanced" society becomes, the farther from REAL health they become. The statement you made is propaganda from profit motivated industries. Life spans are NOT increasing, they are decreasing. HEALTH is not increasing, it is decreasing (in industrialized nations).
